Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

I love this foundation, I have used it for years. It has such great coverage as it covers my redness well. Its so comfortable and doesn’t feel like you are wearing any make up. Its so smooth over the fine lines around my eyes and mouth.

This is my current go to foundation for these hot muggy summer days. It’s light but gives good coverage, and doesn’t go cakey. It also doesn’t seem to oxidise on me which is an issue I’ve had with other foundations. It’s more on the pricey side, but nice for a splurge purchase. Also the pump is sold separately, but you only have to buy it once and then you can use it with any replacement bottles.

I was first hesitant because it cost me $90 at the closest place I could find it. But it was worth it. It always gives a lovely coverage that is easily buildable, I often use it with a flat kabuki brush or a stippling brush for the best effect. I've never had any problems and have been using it for over 6 months as my main foundation.

Great consistency and smooth application. When used with a primer it didn't stick to any dry spots on my face which is a huge pro in foundations. Only (slight) problem is that I found the coverage not to be as good as previous foundations I have used. Bonus is that it photographs amazingly (Looks like you've been airbrushed). I am a huge fan of Nars and don't regret buying this product, especially since my powders and bronzers are also Nars.

This stuff is beautiful! it glides on like a dream and mimics skins natural texture amazingly. Its is not very sheer or very glowy as the name suggests, it is actually quite full coverage and has a saturn finish. But it gets forgiven for this cause it just looks great. Quite pricey but is worth it if your budget allows.

I watched so many youtube reviews before splurging on this, i went to Mecca to get a sample but i was given like a really tiny amount that was only good for one side of my face -.- Anyways, i have normal/dry skin and this stuff is great! The consistency is not heavy, you don't even need a full pump to cover your whole face, it doesn't cake on me and it has a really nice natural finish. Its definitely not sheer or glowy though but its real natural which i want anyway. If applied properly, it looks like you're not wearing makeup. I hate that its so expensive but i hope the bottle lasts long. Its so worth it though. The coverage is medium buildable but if you want it sheer then just apply the tiniest amount. I love that its yellow based cause its perfect for my olive skin tone! Love this foundation!!

Having an exact colour match is really important to me, and Nars Sheer Glow is one of the only foundations I've found so far to have this! There are a really good variety of shades, from light to dark, peachy to yellow. The lasting power isn't that great but I don't mind. Formulation is great - so easy to apply and dries down!
