Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

While i was using this product, i had noticed that my skin did look and feel softer. By using this BB cream it had provided me with a nice matte finish, which i loved.I had compliments from my friends, an them asking what i was using on my skin. I had noticed that my blemishes were starting to fade, and that my redness of my cheeks and nose were not as red - as they normally are. I loved how this product has SPF 15 in it, and how it gave me a nice healthy looking glow. I also loved how it absorbed quickly, and i didn't get that sticky feeling after applying it. Its light weight, and it really doesn't feel like i was wearing makeup at all. And lastly it didnt make my skin oily at all, after applying it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it :)

I suffer from a combination oil prone complexion. I was super thrilled to use this product and see what it could do for me. The cream has a liquid consistency and practically runs out of the tube. It was quick and easy to apply, I just used my finger tips mostly in circular motions to apply and this left me with a nice matte finish. There was no intense fragrance to it which I liked and it easily lasted my 8 hour working day. Packaging is typical of this sort of product, not better or worse then those similar. I used the BB cream everyday for the duration of the trial period and I did notice that my skin wasn't as oily as before which is the biggest plus and I cant wait to see some of the more long term effects. I would recommend this to most of my friends as I believe this is a great product. I gave 3/5 for would use again as I kept getting the comment that my face looked too flawless and this gave me a "fake" look. However compliment or not I still enjoyed wearing and reaping its benefits (SPF 15)

I have tried this product for a week. When it first arrived I wanted to wash off my foundation that I had put on that morning, but I waited until that evening. I had kickboxing in the evening and due to being so pale, I like to wear minimal foundation. I put on a light layer of this BB cream and out I went. I came home afterwards and found that not only was my skin only a tad shiny (yet very red due to the exercising), and it wasn't blotchy or running. I was pleased, but didn't want to get my hopes up too early in the trial. For the next few days I have used it everyday. I am finding I am not needing to use powder half way through the day to combat oily, shiny skin which means less stress about how my face looks. I love that when I put it on in the morning how easy it is to apply. It really is just like putting a nice moisturiser on. I also love that if I am going out at night I am not having to wash my face and start from the beginning, as I can easily add more BB Cream on top of what I am already wearing and it doesn't smear or end up looking too thick. In the mornings when I wake up, my face is less oily. I still have a couple of areas that are still dry and patchy, but I am sure that over the next couple of weeks even that will have started to get better. It is also nice and easy to remove at the end of the day, which makes potential 3am mornings when you just want to crawl into bed after a night out, a bit easier knowing it isn't going to be a hug he big hassle.

First and foremost I am always on the hunt for the perfect BB cream - they are just so handy! Especially on days you are in a hurry or going for a more natural look.

I have tried 4 other BB creams prior to the Garnier BB cream - and I would rank Garnier as the third best BB cream I have tried.

Combats shiny, oily skin for an immediate matte look - I would not agree with that, but in saying that. I do have oily skin myself and have yet to find something that can battle oily skin ALL DAY. Upon first application there is a nice velvety feel afterwards.

Pigmentation - pretty good, I did find that this BB cream gave me a good glow and even coverage. And you are able to build it up slightly.

Consistency - quite consistency but as mentioned above, pretty good pigmentation.

Fragrance - a little sunscreeny, but I guess that's what you would sort of expect for a drugstore BB cream with an SPF element to it.

Colour - I received "light" and I thought that was a great match. But also keep in mind you can set with powder as well etc if you prefer more coverage.

The consistency of this product was extremely runny making it hard to get the right amount. It was easy to apply however didn't have great coverage.it lasted up to four hours six at the most. My skin did seems clearer and softer after using it for a week. I have a sensitive pale skin complexion and my skin did not get agitated from this product. All up I wasn't very impressed with this product however I would recommend it to someone who had clear skin and just wanted a little bit of tint.

Wow what an incredible product. I've had acne since I turned 13 but since I started using this Bb cream it has just about made it disappear, my skin tone has evened out, my pore size has really diminished and I no longer have oily skin! And that's a huge feat. I have found that I did have to apply a light layer of moisturiser under the Bb cream otherwise it dried my t zone out just a bit too much, but that is the only negative part. I really do love this product and will be buying it again and again very much worth the small amount at the checkout.

This product covered really well for only being a foundation. It smoothed out the fine lines and made you look more refreshed. Applying it was easy and you didn't get streaky lines and blended around the neckline well. The look after applying looks great. I found it to have really good water proofing and could tell you wouldn't end up with streaks on a rainy day which i find fantastic with the unpredictable New Zealand weather. Although i really liked the look i found later in the day i would get a bit shiny and i do not like that look personally (just due to being past the age of wanting to look shiny and youthful). Overall it is a great product just not for me.

Firstly I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this BB Cream. I was dubious to begin with as I have not had much luck with Garnier in the past. But one should not judge a product by bad experience with a brand.

The packaging is simple and clean. However the product does leak into the lid which can make it slightly messy. I am not sure if this is just a fault with my tube though.

The consistency is very thin and watery with little to no smell which I liked.

I used a flat top brush to apply and also my fingers to see the difference. Both applications were really even and it didn't take much product to cover redness and any little blemishes.

I really like the look and feel on the skin. Its very light weight and smooth without oiliness which was just what I needed in my T and oilier areas on my face. I found that this BB cream did settle into lines and any dry patches (thanks winter) after a few hours. And I could not wear it for longer then 5-6 hours before it needed some love.

Overall I did like this product. I will continue to use it as an easy alternative to a full face for uni and lazy days.

I am unsure if I would purchase this product in Winter as I have dry patches. But in Summer it would be on the list.

I really liked using this product it was easy to apply and looked great. It was light weight on my skin. Flawless when first applied but I did find by the end of the day my skin was slightly oily. This wouldn't put me off using it But I may only use it as a weekend product when it doesn't matter if it doesn't last the day.

Overall I was happy with this product, I definitely prefer this to the regular one as I felt like my skin looked extremely oily with the regular version and this one not at all.

I also preferred this packaging to the regular one as the slim packaging was more aesthetically pleasing.

I used this over top of primer and it stayed on well throughout the day. The colour was good and blended in to my skin colour really well which I was sirprised about becasue i thought it would be too dark for my skin.

I was also very happy about the thin consistency, I would like to use BB creams on my "no make up" days so I would prefer not to use something thick because I feel I could just wear my normal foundation.

Something I really liked about this product is that it is SPF 15, I like to protect my skin from the sun and it makes me think that this would be a really good product to wear in summer.

Overall I thought the product was good for the price.
