Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I was so excited to receive this in the mail to try out! Having used a couple of other branded BB creams, this was definitely my favourite. The colour (medium) blended perfectly into my skin, the consistency is of a good quality liquid foundation. It is very easy to apply ( I just used my finger as im usually a powder girl). It was a sheer coverage something good for "no makeup" days. although I had a shine after a couple of hours, I do however have a super oily T-zone. The packaging is very appealing to the eye. It claims to reduce pores, I found this wasnt true, my pores are enlarged and didnt look at all reduced. But overall, I was impressed and would purchase this for my days where I just need a little something :-)

This BB cream was pretty good. I had tried the original BB cream Garnier released years ago and absolutely hated it as it was greasy, had little to no coverage, and it slipped around my face whenever I wore it. This was quite a thin, runny consistency unlike many other BB creams I've tried. I used the Real Techniques expert face brush to apply this BB cream each time. It covered some redness but none of my darkness under my eyes, so I used some concealer under the eyes. I noticed after having let it sit on my face for ten minutes that the finish wasn't matte at all.. it was more of a satin finish (on my skin at least). So I set the BB cream with Rimmel stay matte powder. Despite setting it, it only lasted a few hours on my skin. It doesn't give great coverage and it doesn't last very long on my combo/oily skin. However, it does not claim to do either of these on the bottle. This BB cream was moisturising, it made my skin feel less oily, however it did not reduce my pore size at all. I dislike how this BB cream only comes in 2 shades, as it doesn't cater for darker skin tones. But overall.. PROS: Pretty good coverage of redness, the finish, it was moisturizing, it reduced oiliness CONS: very light coverage of darkness, shade selection, longevity, it didn't reduce pore size. I think this BB cream is best used if set with a setting spray (which I tried and it lasted much longer) or used for short period of time.. not to be worn for a full day (Not on oily/combo skin at least).

Well not being a big makeup fan or wearer I can't really compare this to anything, but what I will say is I didn't feel claustrophobic when wearing it, I firstly tried it on the back of my hand and I must say I was astounded on how much younger my skin looked. I have worn it on my face every day since, and it felt good. I cant rate the SPF being the middle of winter, but will more than happily try wearing it over summer if im going to be out because I find a lot of sun screens feel horrible on my face and often choose to go without instead!

Wow! A product that actually does what it says! I really wasn't expecting much from a BB cream but this product definitely ticks all the boxes. I have very large pores and find most foundations and especially powders don't hide them. Garnier BB cream smoothed straight over them and hid them (aswell as my red spots on my cheeks) very well. The smooth velvet touch made my skin feel like I wasn't wearing any makeup and the coverage was amazing. One coat was enough to hide my blemishes. The biggest bonus I found with this liquid gold was you only had to use a small amount to cover your face and neck. I love the fact that this product has spf 15 protection, it saves me time from applying my greasy sunscreen to my makeup routine. I am over the moon with my new oil-free BB cream from Garnier and have now got my friends using it too.

I've used a couple of BB creams before but found this one to be one of my favourites! The formula was quite runny and smooth and it gave a good coverage for a BB Cream and not cakey at all! I applied in three ways, with my hands, with a brush and with a Beauty Blender and I found my Beauty Blender to have the best application as it is my favourite way to apply foundations and BB Creams. This is the kind of thing I would wear on my face on a daily basis as I have quite normal skin that hardly blemishes. It would be nice if it came in darker shades, so everyone gets the chance to experience this! But as for me it was a very good BB Cream and I would definitely repurchase and recommend to others!

I had always heard BB Creams were like tinted moisturisers, so I haven't really jumped on the bandwagon. I wasn't too happy with the only other BB cream I've purchased, but was pleasantly surprised at this one!

I have oily-combination skin and am very pale. I found that the light was still a little too dark for me, but that's being pretty fussy. I think in Summer the colouring will be spot on.

It was really good at controlling oil - my face was less oily than usual, which was great as often I have to keep applying powder all day!

The best part was that it had great coverage, and it really evened out my skin tone. Add to that the fact that it was super easy to apply (no bothering with primer beforehand) it's definitely my new go-to! I also love my foundation I'm using at the moment, so I'll switch between the two - depending on whether I have the extra time it takes to apply my foundation.

Overall, very happy with this! Nice sized bottle too and you don't need heaps of it, so it should last a while.

I had really bad luck with this product, it was really thick and caused a bad breakout on my forehead. The bottle is 3/4 full and i'm too scared to try it again! The time i did wear it, however, it did provide a nice coverage but left me feeling shiny!

Wow, i went into this with huge expectations as i have heard nothing but positivity about it. With applying i found it was very orange, but faded into a colour which matched my skin. The only downside was the very quick drying time. It was easy to apply as was liquid and i have combination skin (oily T-zone. After 7 hours the skin was barely there. It had very good coverage and covered as well as my revlon colourstay foundation. My freckles were mainly covered and my red/blotchy patches on my face were gone! The finish was matte which i really liked. I liked it alot compared to my maybelline bb cream which barely covers anything on my face, and i have to apply several layers to get any noticeable change in my face colour. The product states it reduces shine and is matte, reduces pores and imperfections, makes your skin glowy and even and i feel like it covers all of this and recommend this highly!!

Extremely happy with this BB cream, it really surprised me how much well it covered and made an even skin tone. The color matched really well and I didn't find it oily or caused any breakouts. I would definetly use this as my everyday foundation. It was nice and light. I even had some compliments on how well my skin looked.

I have tried many products over the years. This Oil-free BB Cream is defiantly one of my favorites. Its so easy to apply and it looks very natural. I have tried some of the other BB creams too, but the oil fee one is the best. I love that you get so much of it as well!
