Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

This is my first time using a BB Cream, I guess I have never used them in the past as I had assumed they were just the same as a tinted moisturiser. On trying the Garnier Miracle BB Cream I was most impressed.

The packaging for a start is very practical, it comes in a slim tube which you can easily store in your makeup bag, handbag and great for travelling. The product is able to be squeezed quickly from the tube but do be careful as the cream is quite running and a little goes along way.

I am using the Garnier Miracle BB Cream - Oily& Combination Skin in Light. As I mentioned earlier the cream is rather runny so a small blob on the back of the hand is heaps for me. I applied the cream over my cleansed and moisturised face. I found the cream very easy to spread over my face and I was left with a light weight, matte coverage. It also easily evens out my skin tone and any redness I have. I also like the cream as it does not really have a fragrance that overpowers me.

I have worn the BB cream daily on several different occasions. The cream wears well, did not smudge onto clothing and only on a day when I had been exercising did I have a bit of shine in the t-zone area.

Overall I was suitable impressed with the BB cream. It probably wasnt as hydrating as I would have liked but that maybe due to the cool winter air and was easily fixed by applying my moisturiser first. I was happy with the coverage and its lightweight feel. My skin did also look even and healthy. An added bonus of the SPF15. I am using the cream in light which is suited to my pale skin in winter but for summer I feel the medium shade might be better. I will continue to use the BB cream and have already recommended it family and friends

I had previously tried the bb creams when they first came out and I was underwhelmed. I usually have normal/oily skin (on the T zone) and found previous bb creams did not have the kind of effect they advertised. I also found in no time I would have to apply powder as my skin would get too shiny. As a result I did not have high expectations for this product. But boy was I proven wrong after the very first use I was a convert. It is a liquid that spreads over the skin so easily and absorbs quickly leaving such a beautiful soft finish. The coverage was simply amazing, even better than any foundation I have tried. Was brilliant as it still looked very light and natural on the skin. I decided to not use moisturiser to really try out one of it's claims. And it was so good my skin looks amazing and not dry at all. One thing that amazed me is that I usually have to use pressed powder during the day to get rid of shine but when wearing this I seriously did not need to. And I must confess I wore it to bed one night and was shocked to wake up with skin that still looked amazing, not that I like to make a habit of that. With having two young boys and a 5 month old daughter anything that saves me time is a winner in my eyes. When using this I saved time by not using moisturiser, pressed powder and as it evened out skin tone so well I didn't need to use as much concealer. I'm sure you can tell I loved, loved this product and would definitely repurchase again and again. Don't even think I will use my foundation again, this stuff is that good! Would totally recommend to family, friends and friends on BR.

This great for my oily skin! It gives light coverage but manages to covers up my pores really well, has matte finish and easy to blend and apply. Matches my skin tone really well and feels great on my face like i have nothing on which I love.

The worst thing about this is the packaging. I have to tip the bottle upside down and be very careful when squeezing out the product because it spills everywhere.

I have a combination skin type and I found this product was perfect for my skin. It didn't leave my skin feeling oily, instead it felt smooth. It's a perfect product for daily use. It has great coverage and you only need to use approx a pea sized amount.

I have been using Garnier Miracle skin perfection for a week now and is totally awesome, the colour is perfect and covers very well. With the slightly runnier texture of BB Cream i tend to use a sponge to help apply to help with coverage as I also like to use it with my thin lizzy light and works out it is a perfect combination. I have only had to apply once daily with no touch ups during the day as it definitely a product that stays on. I didnt find it to have a strong fragrance smell to it which I really enjoyed. Would really recommend this product to anyone that wanted or needed a light easy full coverage foundation.

I tried this product as part of the invited trial. I find I have been wearing less makeup as I have aged as I see too many older women over applying it. However I have now tested this product for the last 8 days and I really like it. It goes on really smoothly, and covers small blemishes (a couple of tiny veins, a bit of redness in my cheeks) well, without looking cakey. However you do need to keep it clear of wrinkles! All it needed was a light dusting of powder. I found I didn't need to reapply it during the day, and it came off easily with cleanser at night. Possibly in the heat and humidity of summer it might need another application. I really liked its lightness.

First of all, I asked for medium and I received medium, which was fantastic (thanks BR!), but it was totally NOT my colour! It made me look quite orange, because of this I don't know how long the product lasts (I took it off!). Even so, the product did most of what it said it would.

My skin type is usually quite oily and shiny and this product seemed to soak up any excess oils nicely. I have a lot of freckles, and you could still see them when the BB was applied, so this is definitely a sheer BB. The fragrance however was too strong for me. It made my eyes water a little bit and it just didn't smell nice. The box (very pretty might I add) also stated that pores would appear smaller. This didn't really work for me, but I think that if I used it more often it might! I would purchase this product again, but definitely not in medium shade! I would recommend to a friend too.

I have combination skin and found the oil-free really great, gave me a matte finish and kept my face shine free all day. I didn't have many blemishes to cover up but I suspect this is a sheer BB cream, it did however even out my skin tone which is exactly what I need from any foundation. It has a slightly watery consistency so I found applying it with a makeup brush was quite good, I also set it with a light powder and some blush. It smells like face cream so it was pleasant. It doesn't last all day but I've never experienced any BB cream that does so I'm still pleased and I will most likely purchase this product once the sample runs out. It is definitely a really good option for an everyday look that is good for your skin so you're not clogging it up with thick foundations.

I have combination skin, but the majority of it it oily. Usually when I use foundations or BB creams, my skin breaks out a few days later. This was not the case for this cream. I have used a Garnier BB cream before and I expected this one to be the same.

I was wrong.

This cream was more liquid than cream, and I applied it using my beauty blender sponge after I had washed and lightly moisturised my face. I used the light colour because I found that BB creams tend to look a bit 'darker' a little while after application and lets face it, I'm light during summer, so I'm as pasty as paper during winter. It was easy to apply but as it was a liquid I just used a little at a time and built it up if I needed more coverage. It gave a nice light coverage which is exactly what I like, with a matte finish. I don't know if I was just used to looking at it or if it had began to fade a little bit, but I felt it wasn't as covered as I was when I left home 8 hours earlier. However when I took it off that night there was plenty on my make-up wipes. I used this product the first day I received it then waited a few days to see if my skin would react to it. I was very happy to find out that I was not breaking out in my usual places (chin and nose), and my skin still felt nice after using it. Super stoked with this BB cream as with the last one I was using my skin would break out and get oily a few days later.

My only problem with this one was that it got a bit darker about an hour after application, and went a tiny bit orange. It didn't look too strange, luckily, because my arms are tan (only part of my body that will actually tan and hold it!) so I looked normal, but I was not expecting it to get darker. Was a bit disappointed at this because I expected the colour to stay the same or get lighter, but it went the opposite way.

My skin is probably normal/combination, however, it does get oily around my chin. I chose the oily/combination BB crème (in the light shade) as I have found many creams to be too oily on my t-zone. I was pleasantly surprised by the creamy texture and at how easy it was to apply. The BB crème is smooth, light and glides on effortlessly. I used my fingers as I do with pretty much everything I apply. I was worried it might be a little too dry looking as I don’t normally wear anything matte, and I’m 44 so had some concerns about it not being the right one for me. The only thing I would say is that it probably highlighted the fine lines around my eyes a little more than the original garnier BB crème I used when they first came out. I think there were only 2 varieties then (just the two shades). That BB crème was too oily around my chin though and didn’t have any sun protection in it. I really like how it gives a sheer look although it’s matte, you can still see a hint of your skin tone which is why I personally prefer BB crème to foundation. I like a natural look that also provides some coverage. TheBB crème has a mild lotion scent, not very perfumed and not unpleasant either. A little bit really does go a long way, I would envision this lasting me for several months if I wore it daily, probably at least 3 months. This product definitely lives up to my expectations, my t-zone wasn’t oily at all and neither did my skin look dry. It actually feels nice and smooth to touch. It looks great, evens out my skin tone without completely hiding my complexion
