Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Pore Foundation Review

Well this one turned out to be the nicest cheap foundation that i've used in a long time..

This foundation stays matte as it promises (and i'm well prone to getting a sheen on), and it definitely minimizes the appearance of my huge pores. It's very blendable and I love how smooth and clean my skin looks with it on.

There are howevere a couple of minor down-falls that I find with this product, for one it's very runny and the opening of the bottle is quite large, so you need to be careful not to pour out too much. The other thing is that I notice quite a lot of transfer with anything that my face comes into contact with, regardless of how much setting powder and spray that I use.

Definitely recommend this foundation as a cheaper option, it's not perfect but It's quite good for the price.

I haven't had the best luck with maybelline foundations but this one is the best that I've tried. It has a smooth light-weight formula that keeps me relatively matte during the day but I'm really disappointed with the shade range, their shades are mostly neutral and very fair, I haven't found one that is yellow toned enough for me and they are seriously lacking in their darker toned shades (like many other drugstore foundations) but if you can find a shade that works for you then I definitely recommend it.

I wear this at night when I go out, its cheap enough and does the job. My friend let me use hers one time and I just had to go out and get it as well as the smooth and dewy foundation for during the day :) Great range of colours and blends in nicely.

I have very visible pores but Im not a big fan of silicone primers. I dont even need to use a primer with this. One of my favourites so far it keeps me matte all day,covers up my pores and has pretty good coverage. The price is good considering what you get. I'd repurchase again definitely!

After reading all the fuss about the original Fit Me foundation, I decided to give the matte and pore-less version a try. And I love it! I love the medium-full coverage, I love the way it sits on my skin and bigger pores, and I love how it covers my acne.The only thing is the colour choice with Maybelline is hit or miss when it comes to their lighter shade, I feel I'm in between Ivory and Classic Ivory.

I can't get enough of this foundation. I'm on my third bottle! It's so easy to blend out with buildable, medium coverage. It stays matte long enough for every day and is fairly affordable too. I took one lippie off for not having a pump on the bottle - if other Maybelline foundations have pumps why not this one?

I initially was not the biggest fan of this foundation. I at first found that this didnt sit right on my skin, and highlighted my large pores. After some experimentation however this foundation has certainly grown on me. I find that you need a well hydrated base, and a good pore filling primer. With these steps in place this foundation then provides a really pretty matte medium/full coverage, which I find lasts all day without looking cakey or shiny.

I have also used this in combination with a pump of stila illuminating foundation to give a more satin finish- this takes down the coverage, but makes the finish a little more wearable for day makeup. Gorgeous foundation!
