I have very visible pores but Im not a big fan of silicone primers. I dont even need to use a primer with this. One of my favourites so far it keeps me matte all day, covers up my pores and has pretty good coverage. The price is good considering what you get. I'd repurchase again definitely!

Tips: I found applying with a sponge is better then a brush
Well this one turned out to be the nicest cheap foundation that i've used in a long time..
This foundation stays matte as it promises (and i'm well prone to getting a sheen on), and it definitely minimizes the appearance of my huge pores. It's very blendable and I love how smooth and clean my skin looks with it on.
There are howevere a couple of minor down-falls that I find with this product, for one it's very runny and the opening of the bottle is quite large, so you need to be careful not to pour out too much. The other thing is that I notice quite a lot of transfer with anything that my face comes into contact with, regardless of how much setting powder and spray that I use.
Definitely recommend this foundation as a cheaper option, it's not perfect but It's quite good for the price.
Traduire This is a decent drugstore foundation. It's not undetectable on the skin though... It has a very foundation-y look...that's not terrible but I wouldn't call it a poreless finish. I prefer L'oreal Pro Matte but this one is much creamier and therefore easier to blend than the L'oreal one. I have well behaved but slightly oily skin, this has decent lasting powder on me but I'm pale and cool toned so the color match was only so so. I don't reach for this much but I'll use it up eventually as it wasn't bad but didn't wow me in comparison to my other go to foundation for a matte look
This product last a long time and has great coverage. But wish it had a pump because it can get real messy. Also, while its a great product and last all day, it isn't great at staying matte.
Tips: Make sure to use a damp beauty blender, doesn't work as good with a brush.
I used and loved the sister product, Dewy and Smooth so thought I would try this to see how it compares to Double Wear.
The colours are great and a huge selection compared to other brands. Consistency wise its a little harder to blend than the Dewy and Smooth, however it does have a mattifying affect so probably partyly why. I do like the finish, however on my forehead it just looks caked on and flaky, my skin must be too dry to use this (it does say for oilier skin, which my T-Zone is).
I'm keeping this one for summer when my skin is oiler and I need a matte foundation so I dont look super shiny and hopefully the finish will be better. So for now, back to my preferred Dewy and Smooth!
Tips: Better if you have an oilier skin as it is quite drying.
I have recently learned from a BR pro lovely that my skin is not dry and sensitive like I previously was told. It's combination and can be quite oily in the T Zone area. I previously used the Fit Me dewy finish because I thought the shining dewy look was better for my dry skin. But little did I know that although in places it looked good in the oily areas it made it even oilier.
When I changed my skin care range it only made sense to get the correct foundation to compliment the new skin care regime I had started. Now the Fit Me range didn't float my boat before but I was hoping that this would change my mind on it completely.
I have the shade Natural Beige 220 which is slightly darker than the last one I bought. I am guessing that my skin tone changed once summer came around and I have been kissed by the sun. The formula is quite a lot thinner than I am used to with other foundations. It made it feel like it wouldn't give me the coverage I craved from it. I pressed ahead nonetheless.
I used a RT foundation brush to apply the foundation to get the most flawless look I possibly can and to get in to all the lines and crevices. I am most excited about the 'poreless' element it promised. I have some visible pores on my nose and would love nothing more than to airbrush them out with foundation.
I tend to stipple the foundation on my face concentrating on my pore-ful areas and behold they are airbrushed away with the rest of my blemishes. The coverage is average but it works for my need of non-caking face and coverage of the most importants which is the pores and blemishes. It is very light and airy which makes me feel like I am not choking my skin with product.
I do find that wearing it on a hot day can mean that it will not go the mile and will need to be re-touched. I tend to wear a finishing powder over the top to help set the foundation and to prolong the wear time which works well. I can go six hours without a re-touch on a hot day which is a winner for me at the cheap price. I am sold on this and my skin looks amazing and doesn't appear dry which is what I was afraid of it doing, My oily T Zone is not as oily as it used to be and I am saving over $20 by buying this brand rather than the usual one I got. I am sold on this and will be buying it again.
Tips: Use a finishing powder over top
I have dry skin, always have, but I was having no luck with foundations that were targeted at dry skin. Whilst in Hawaii early last year I saw this, it was cheap as chips so I thought I'd take the plunge and try something that's the polar opposite of what I normally go for. Boy am I glad I did!
It's a medium coverage foundation, feels super light on the skin and looks very much like skin. For me, the claims aren't necessarily true as it doesn't highlight my pores but it definitely doesn't hide them or leave porous areas looking 'poreless'. It also leaves more of a satin finish as opposed to matte, so your skin looks healthy and alive! And it doesn't cling to dry patches, hoorah!
The one annoying thing about this foundation is that it doesn't come with a pump. It's quite a runny formula so it can be a bit messy as a result. I find the best application method is with a beauty blender, or your fingers work surprisingly well if you're strapped for time. I initially picked up shade 115 which I realised was a little too pinky, so I've since picked up 110 and 120 to mix accordingly depending on whether I'm wearing fake tan etc. For reference, the shades that end in 5 are more pinky, and those that end in 0 are more yellow based.
I'm so close to finishing my 115 shade which says a lot as I can't remember the last time I actually finished a foundation. I wear it most days to work, and any time I need to know that my makeup will last the day and not look cakey and worn out at the end of it. It's just an awesome foundation!
Tips: This foundation mixes well with soo many other foundations, so give this a go mixing it in with a foundation you don't overly love, or that you need to change the colour of.
Have used this foundation for 5+ years. Used to use the dewy version which was great and gave me glassy looking skin but my skin is more on the oily side now so I switched to the matte version and it’s perfect for me. I always get compliments about my skin whenever I use this foundation. If I’m not wearing dramatic eye makeup, people seem to think I have naturally flawless skin, it doesn’t cake and lasts for a whole day. I have sensitive skin and prone to breakouts but haven’t experienced any skin reactions or breakouts from using this.
Tips: Small amount does a long way!
