Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation

I brought this about two weeks ago and have been using it every day since then. And I dont personally like it. The only thing I like about it is that it is so soft and applies so smoothly onto your skin. I thought/looking at the product I thought it would give great coverage but it doesnt. It is so light it doesnt cover much. It doesnt hide any of your imperfections. I personally like full coverage. I think this is great for people who like very light coverage. This mousse also does not last long and run off when you wipe of touch your face. Personally I wont be buying this product again.

I absolutely love mousse foundations. The way they just glide onto your face, it makes applying foundation a lot quicker and much easier. But I find that you can't buff this particular mousse foundation into your skin to give it that flawless look, because it actually tends to rub the foundation away. It also has minimal coverage, which I personally don't like. I need my full coverage foundations.

I was really disappointed with this product, because Maybelline products normally work quite well. It was very hard to apply evenly because it wouldn't stay on and looked horrible because it was so patchy. It doesn't give good coverage and about two hours after I applied it, it looked like I wasn't even wearing it. Definitely would not recommend.

I decided to purchase this foundation due to wanting to try out a mousse foundation again and thought that Maybelline's one would be amazing. I found for that this mousse foundation disappointed me a lot as I found on my skin it didn't apply evenly and was hard to blend in. I have normal skin and this formula felt horrible on my face and literally made my face look dry and cracked. I found that it also was flaking off my skin in patches. I ended up throwing out it due to hating it so badly and wouldn't repurchase this again.

I was very weary of this foundation as it is like nothing I have ever used before. It is quite hard to apply a smooth even layer, which means it comes of quite sheer and occasionally patchy. I found that the best way to go about applying was to use a damp sponge. I like to use when i'm wanting less coverage. It does look a lot better if you use a powder over as it can make me look slightly oily. The colours are very orangey toned so girls with pink toned skin may struggle to find a colour match. I wouldn't recommend this as there are better mousse foundations out there.

I was brought this product as a gift so thought I may as well try it out. I found it to be the opposite of what it says it is. It made my face look dry and uneven. It is very thick which makes it tricky to apply and you would think that the thickness of it would make for good coverage but its not at all. It tends to look slightly cakey and not smooth at all. I quite like moose makeup products but this one was definitely a miss for me. I wouldn't buy it even if it was $10! And as for 14hrs of hydration.... pffffttt !

I can't believe I used to use this in high school. It dries up in the pot unbelievably quickly, and trying to apply it is a nightmare - rather than smoothing it onto your skin, you find the product rolling up into little balls under your fingers. I really doubt that this could be a good product for anyone.

Positives first, I absolutely fell in love with the texture of this foundation; it feels like a thick, whipped cream and applied smoothly on my face. However, it didn't seem to set; if I did manage to get rid of all the brush/finger marks before leaving the house, one scratch during the day would leave a distinct line. Because I have naturally oily skin anyway, this didn't help at all.

This is very nice to put on feels great and hydrating and can cover lines and wrinkles okay but it goes patchy after a while and your skin eats the hydration leaving behind dry flakes of the foundation or the foundation rubs off easy you need a powder to set it. Nice feeling and you can blend easily though not my favourite.
