MAC Studio Face and Body Foundation Review

A really great light coverage foundation, suitable for everyday. A thin liquid formulation that helps even out skin tone and give a silky finish without being obvious. Goes on dewy but dries to give a flawless finish. Does have a slightly odd scent to it, especially as the skin warms it up though.

I started using this in November 2012, as my first proper foundation. I've been super happy with it, it gives a light coverage that dries still looking dewy - my face never feels stiff, or like I'm wearing face paint. I apply it with a normal foundation brush, but you can use your fingers in a rush if you need to. The coverage is buildable, so you can get more coverage if you want.

After hearing many a guru rave about this product, I decided I needed it in my life. You need to be aware that this product doesnt really come in traditional shades;it is intended as a professional grade product so it really designed to be custom mixed. Not saying that you can't match exactly but its not going to be as easy as other ranges.

The consistency is water like and the coverage is sheer but once dry the product is waterproof and looks lovely and natural. Face and Body can be a little off putting at the start because it does take awhile to figure out how to best apply it. I find hands the best, it is a product that benefits from being warm.

I don't like to wear thick foundation so when MAC brought out the little 50ml bottles of face and body I was super excited! I really love the consistency and light coverage but find its also great for evening out skin tone and covering blemishes without looking cakey. After much trial and error I've found that applying with my hands works best as you can really work it into your skin :)

I'm not huge into foundation these days as it tends to look cakey on my skin, but this foundation was smooth and easy!

This was my first foundation and I returned it back to MAC! I wanted something that looked natural yet with a bit of coverage. I was matched to C4 in this one. My skin was in a rough phase then. It was breaking out like crazy and the foundation wasn't covering any acne. So summarise, Its a great foundation but its meant for people with good skin. Think acne free and blemish free. It has light coverage. Yup! buildable but are you prepared to slather layers and layers of it? Its expensive! Why not but a medium to full coverage instead. I'd love to buy it again but waiting for the good phase of my skin..haha! Think BB cream coverage when you see this.

I was introduced to this foundation as a teenager and have LOVED it since. Its smooth and sheer and fantastic if toy have clear skin. Its defiantly a sheer coverage which is perfect for me. YOUR skin shows through, just better. It also lasts a long time cause its a big bottle! My only problem with this is I'm not 100% on the ingredients so I wouldn't use it every day. Your skin is the bodies biggest organ so I like to treat it with more natural products.

I love this product, I have previously used Mac Foundations and found that a couple of them were too thick for my liking. I love this Foundation as you can build it up to whatever coverage that you like. I have a friend who is a makeup artist and she introduced me to this. I've loved and used it ever since!

I didn't get the coverage i needed from this. It's also very runny... And feels to much like a moisturizer than a cover. Maybe I'm not using it right?
