MAC Studio Face and Body Foundation Review

This is the best summer foundation I have ever found! It's super light weight and water proof, perfect for a day at the pool or beach, and it has buildable coverage, so you can wear it sheer or build it up to a medium coverage! It comes it a good range of colours from light to dark and with pink and yellow undertones. I like to apply this with a duo fibre brush if I want sheer coverage and a beauty blender if I want a little more coverage. I like how this foundation gives me a dewy look without looking oily, it also still has a dewy finish even after setting it with powder which I really like in the summer because I feel like it makes me look super healthy instead of having a fully matte face.

Love this foundation, this is what i wear when I want dewy, light no makeup look, most of my foundation are heavy duty, but i love this, it has some coverage but it feels like nothing on the skin. I touch up with powder maybe twice through the day, I love the finish and 1 bottle (100mls) will last you ages. 100% recommend

This is my go to foundation when I can't be bothered putting a full face of makeup on but also not wanting to scare little children on my journey through town.

The consistency is quite light and fairly runny. It gives a light/medium coverage if you build it up but it is perfect for the days where you don't want people to stop and ask you of you're ok because you look sick.

For me the best way to describe it is your skin but better. It gives a really nice coverage that still allows your skin to show. So it's definitely a natural looking foundation. You can bulid the coverage up if you wanted to. I find that using a bb cream like the lioele one first, will help you achieve medium coverage if that's what you're after.

It does set fairly quickly so I have to do one area of my face at a time otherwise it's near impossible to buff in onto your skin to avoid the foundation blotches.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the case with all these foundations or if it's just mine but mine leaks quite abit which is really frustrating. Everytime I take the lid off the foundation is already leaking out, even if I wipe the excess foundation off more of it keeps leaking through the tip. I've lost quite a bit of foundation because of it so I rarely ever take it with me in my makeup bag unless I can guarantee it can sit up right. I'm not even sure if it makes a difference bit it definitely can't make it worse.

Other than that slight problem I really really like this foundation. My skin has not settled down since using the garnier micellar water so I rarely ever wear makeup now. But if I do need a quick fix then this is my go to foundation. It covers the redness of my skin, and makes my skin look a lot healthier than what it actually is.

I first researched what foundation suits oily skin coz I have REALLY REALLY REALLY oily skin. I use to break out after 2 days of wearing any foundation. HOWEVER! "Lord Jesus halleluyurrr!" This is legit my holy grail! My make up game would be nothing without this! The formula sinks into my skin. It's buildable so you determine your coverage. IT DOES NOT CAKE! I have used this everyday, full coverage for the last month. I have had no break outs and I eat crap fool. The one pimple I got was from my lip gloss. That's it! This product is for acne prone/oily skin. It's amazing. I looked at Gossmakeupartist to try out this product and I swear it's amazing! It even offers the 120ml range. I am nothing without this.

This foundation is an oddity. I find I have to warm it up in my hands until its consistency is such that it allows a buildable application to my face. It isn't for oily skin as it is quite glowy. It can be powdered but the glow will reappear.

I still use this despite the fact that I'm oily because I always carry blot powder on me (oily girl problems) and N2 is a PERFECT match for my complexion. Once I've used it up, I probably won't repurchase this particular foundation formula.

If I want a really long wear, I find that I do need a mattifying primer underneath, but it does last quite okay in Spring/Autumn. In summer, the glow combined with summer warmth means this can melt off the face a bit. It photographs well, with no flashback (because it doesn't have SPF in it). It has also never changed colour on me throughout the day.

I bought mac face and body knowing that it provided very sheer coverage and also being told that it's what many mua use on models. With the sheer coverage this makes sense as it really doesn't cover blemishes at all however it adds an unexplainable glow to the skin which works incredibly well for youthful skin and skin that doesn't require a heavy coverage foundation. I don't find this foundation to be build able as it is such a watery consistency. The product requires shaking before each use which is a tad annoying as the inside of the lid then begins to get quite messy however the packaging is very good apart from that. The plastic bottle makes it very easy to control the amount of product coming out meaning less product is wasted. I find applying this foundation with your hands is th best method as it makes it easy to work it in so it doesn't appear to be sitting on top of your face. This foundation leaves a very dewy finish which can be powdered down but the dewiness will reappear mid way through the day so if you are a fan of the matte look this foundation may not be for you unless you want to be constantly powdering,

This is currently my favorite foundation, as it is a light coverage foundation (which I prefer as I don't wear foundation day-to-day) yet it seems to provide better coverage than other "light" foundations I have tried. I like the fact that I can build up the layers without looking over-done, though I do need to set with a loose powder otherwise I am left with a shiny looking face right off the bat.

I have this in N2, and the colour suits me perfextly. This to me is more a tinted moisturizer apposed to a foundation, just because the finish is very ligyht and very sheer, The staying power is very good though but because its a satin-shine finish it slide around my nise a bit, which was a shame. I like the fact you can use it on your body as well but for me it wasnt buildable at all, it just took longer to dry (the more used) I paid $20 off facebook. The bottle is a good size, but as its body as well i would have thought it would have been bigger.

I love this foundation. It is prefect for everyday IF you don't like wearing a lot of make up. It's not got a lot of coverage but it has enough if you just want to take a bit of the redness out of you cheeks. It has a very dewey finish which i tend to powder over. It's a great slap on foundation for when you don't want to put on a whole face!

i was abit disappointed with this foundation,i wanted a product that would be great for summertime and not cakey,i bought the colour c 2 as i am a cool undertone,it did not cover my light sun spots and when i placed the 2nd layer on it made all the lines under my eyes stand out,i do not think its for the over 40 age group and a younger girl may wear it different than me,it was a runny foundation,and the bottle was plastic with a large amount of 120ml in it.and i would not buy it agaion.
