L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup

I liked this makeup and found it blended in to my skin tone very well and was super easy to wear. It was my go to day time make up for a fresh easy look.

Beautiful finish for a beautiful price -True Match

Why is it that finding the right foundation can be such a chore?! I am sure I am not the only one who has purchased a foundation and then has not been happy. Was only a couple a days ago I did just this, spending $80 hoping I was making the right choice but I had lucked out finding it was just not right for everyday use. So I researched and researched and decided to give L'Oreal True Match a try (thanks to reviews on Youtube). I was more than happy to just buy L’Oreal True Match as it was half the price of my last purchase at only $44 from Farmers. I choose to shop at Farmers as I like to support NZ business and I have the opportunity to gain beauty Rewards points.

I have medium to oily warm/yellow toned skin and purchased the L'Oreal True Match in W3 Golden Beige. L'Oreal True Match has an amazing selection of colours and three undertones to choose from C = Cool, W = Warm, N = Neutral which come in a classy glass bottle with 30ml contents (which is pretty standard) and a pump which I love, It makes dispersing and measuring the amount needed so easy.

The formula contains SPF which is great during the summer months as I do not apply sun cream to my face so I feel I am protected, if you are doing a photo shoot you might find this gives you a whiteout effect (I have not tried this so cannot confirm but something to consider for photos). The foundation is so easy to apply; I like to stipple on with Sigma F80 and then buff into my face. It is bendable and does not dry quickly which makes it easy to manipulate around your face. I would say this foundation is a medium coverage but buildable to fuller. I would recommend using a concealer for darker blemishes but the foundation covers redness and minor imperfections easily. You will need to set this with a power as you are left with a Satin Dewy finish and I feel it would remain slightly wet without doing so, I am loving the dewier look at the moment (now I am getting older).. Nothing like young, radiant and glowing skin. If you are after a really Matte finish this may not be the foundation for you. True Match is so easy to wear; you can hardly feel you are wearing it at all! I find it lasts an average day and a simple touch up would make it last even longer without looking cakey.

This is now make everyday go to foundation. I feel radiant and glowing from the inside when I have it on; I get comments on how beautiful and flawless my skin looks. I recommend True Match for anyone wanting a beautiful natural but flawless looking finish that leaves you with a slight dewy healthy glow. I am really blown away how amazing this drugstore foundation is and would recommend everyone give it a go.

Tips: I love applying with Sigma F80 or similar

The only foundation that makes me happy

Went to the the chemist and the loreal lady said I was W4 and gave a little tester to try to see if I liked it...used it...and I love it!, every time I wear it I can't stop checking myself out in the mirror. Bought a full bottle just today! I'm a cool skin tone but my face is quite a lot more red than my body so the W4 tones down my red and gives the true match.

Tips: If your face is cool and your body warm, buy a warm tone foundation to counteract this and vice versa.....if your face is more cool than your body like me, buy a warm to tone down the red and vice versa xx

L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable foundation

the foundation is not very runny.a half pump dispenses this much product.i did not had a hard time blending the foundation, this doesnt stick really fast on your skin.it feels light which is a great factor for me considering that this may give you a Medium-full coverage. so far so good.

this morning i applied this foundation, and set it with my Estee lauder loose power on my t zone. i have normal skin and can be slightly oily on t zone. so after 3 hours working in the mall, the foundation fades off on my whole face, my face looks very oily and dark(probably because oxidized?.) so i assume this foundation is more suitable for very dry skin? but it is definitely not for me.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation!

This foundation has honestly turned into one of my holy grail products.... I absolutely love it! It blends so nicely, I would say its a medium coverage foundation but its definitely build able. This foundation also leaves a dewy finish which looks stunning! It is also a very good foundation for people with dry skin (I have dry skin myself). Overall 10/10 product for me and would definitely be recommending this product to people!

Tips: I love to apply this foundation with a damp real techniques sponge or beauty blender <3

Love love love!

If anyone was looking for a new foundation this is the product I'd recommend!

The price is good, can get cheap online or $42-44 here which is pretty good for a foundation! I love the packaging I think its really pretty but being useful at the same time. Love that it has a pump!

There are heaps of shades to choose from and what I love is that they have a selection of colours to choose from based on the undertones so C = cool/pink, N = neutral, W = warm/yellow. I hate brands that don't tell you undertones in such a straightforward way I've bought many a wrong shade this way! Love this foolproof system :)

I bought this in the colour N3 and it was my perfect summer colour, right now I'd be about a N2 or even N1!

The formula isn't too thick or too runny, to me its the perfect foundation consistency. It applies evenly and smoothly to create a lovely natural medium-buildable satiny finish. Being medium-buildable its a great daytime foundation but is also able to be layered to full for a special event which to me makes it really versatile!

I only took off one 'kiss' as I do notice it doesn't last as long as some of my other foundations however I'm pretty sure its not actually marketed as being a long lasting foundation so that's okay!

Definitely in my top 2 favourite foundations! Have been missing using it as its winter and I'm trying to use up my other pale winter foundations first! Been tempted more than once to get this in a winter shade as well.

Tips: Figuring out what 'undertones' you have really makes a difference to how foundation looks on your skin. There are many ways to figuring out your undertones; if you look good in silver jewelry, white clothes and the veins on your wrists look more blue, then you likely have cool undertones. If you look good in gold jewelry, cream clothes and have greener veins then you more likely have yellow/warm undertones. And if you suit both colours then you're probably neutral :)

perfect!

I LOVE this foundation, it has a beautiful natural finish and I would say is medium coverage but could definitely be buildable to a more full too. I have normal to dry skin and I think it works perfectly for my skin type. Its really lightweight and super blendable but also great coverage considering the thin consistancy. Its definately my go-to foundation and will continue to re-purchance over and over. The only down side to this foundation is that its on the more expensive side for a drugstore foundation here it New Zealand.

Tips: I find it applys amazingly with a damp beauty blender or the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Changed my mind on this one

Have been wearing this foundation for about a month now and need to update my review as it is no longer working for me. I LOVED this foundation to start off with, recently switched to it thanks to a friend's recommendation. However, I'm not so sure about it now, it tends to get really chalky and patchy over the course of the day and I have quite a busy job so don't have time for makeup touch-ups 3 times a day! The formula is quite runny so it spreads well and I don't need too much of it. It tends to dry quite quickly which is awesome for rushed mornings. You can also build coverage, I find that 3 pumps is usually enough to cover my whole face the way I like it. The packaging is great, I like the pump as it is easy to control the amount you get out of it. I love that its super-blendable, I think I bought a shade that is a touch too dark which is fine at the start of the day but when it gets patchy it looks awful. Will keep this bottle to use occasionally but will not purchase again

Tips: I use a Real Techniques Your Base/Flawless brush to apply.

True Match True Love

I have never been satisfied by a drugstore foundation for as long as I can remember. I've been buying the same $70 Lancome foundation for a very long time. After seeing Lauren Curtis continuing to use this L'oreal True Match over the years I finally decided to cave and try it. I was slightly too pale for my Lancome and couldn't be bothered fake tanning so i stopped by farmers to pick up the L'oreal True Match as an in-between. After using it now for a good while i'm positive I won't be going back.

The foundation itself goes on feeling slightly dry but it's still suuuuper blendable. once it's settled in the skin all dry feeling is gone and it becomes silky and soft. I was able to start at a sheer/medium coverage and so easily build it to a full coverage with no caking or orange peel texture. The lasting power is fabulous! I set it with my powder and it didn't move. I feel photoshopped when i wear it but it also feels so natural on the skin.

I have severely dry skin and this is my new go-to!!!!

IN LOVE.

Tips: Apply with a sponge for a natural sheer finish. For full coverage, apply one layer and then apply a second, it builds beautifully.
