There's barely any coverage here, and even if I'm using it under a regular concealer, it doesn't make much of a difference in erasing dark circles. The color of it (salmony orange) isn't brightening and only marginally hides dark undereyes because the formula is very greasy and semi-sheer.
I don't like giving products low ratings, but this ended up greasing up my undereye area without really helping to cover anything. It felt like another unnecessary step in my makeup routine. I gave color correcting a shot but it feels like another gimmick for makeup companies to churn out unneeded products.
This is by far the most effective, affordable under eye concealer I have ever tried. Often I will pick this over the higher end versions just because of it's quality and long lasting abilities.
Coming in a small round pot, with a screw on domed lid, this looks underwhelming. Even once you open it and see the product poured into place with a slight glossy appearance across the top and a deeper than you imagined shade of orange. Well I can say put those fears aside a dig in!
What is amazing about this dark circle concealer is it has this thick texture in a deeper orange than your regular high end versions which once you have it out of the pot and on your finger starts to show it's true worth, it has this almost buttery softness that glides onto the skin, yet manages to hold itself above the lines and resists the urge to fall into the creases. Once set into place with a light dusting of setting powder, this baby will not budge until your take it off with your method or choose for makeup removal.
For under $15, my hopes were not that high but boy was I wrong. The combination of it's buttery texture and deep colour means that it hides those dark circles perfectly and doesn't melt or fade away allowing them to shine through from behind, no this keeps those dark circles on lockdown!
