Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I really enjoyed this product, it's great for when I'm having a bad skin day and dont wont to clog my face with foundation but still need a little coverage.

The formula looks thick but when you apply it feels pretty lightweight, after 5 or so minutes it feels like there is nothing on your skin.

The coverage is very light and I didn't find it buildable, but then again it is not a foundation.

This is not a long wearing product, I found I needed to reapply after 3-4 hours but I did try it with a little elf complexion perfection over top and found this helped with the longevity, using a primer underneath also extended the wear of it

It isnt as moisturising as a moisturiser but I dont mind putting on a moisturiser first.

The scent is a typical garnier scent, not unpleasant to me.

All in all I would repurchase

I have tried some BB creams (mainly Korean ones), Garnier BB cream is light and very easy to spread out. It also has a pleasant scent and unlike some other BB creams I have tried, it is natural and not cakey. It is perfect for weekends or the days when you don't want to wear make up. I have some acne scars, I wear some concealer over the BB cream to give more coverage.

Easy to apply and has an even coverage, very natural looking too which is great especially for a more relaxed weekend look.

First noticed the pleasant smell, most of the other products like this I have tried are not half as pleasant. Think it is maybe a shade too dark for me, but the light coverage doesn't make it look too artificial on my skin.

I would buy this product again, just for how simple it is to apply in a rush or while on the go..

I have fair skin that is relatively normal, but can be prone to dryness and at certain times a bit oily, so I often find it difficult to find skin products that suit my needs completely. Upon trialling this product I noticed it has a very thick consistency, almost like a moisturizing creme and it can feel a bit heavy on the skin. Due to this I found it a little difficult to apply and blend (I used a makeup brush as I don't like the mess of using my fingers) and I felt a bit like the product sat on top of my skin, rather than being absorbed. I must admit, although my skin isn't particularly oily, I do think I prefer the consistency and overall finish of the Garnier oily/combo skin BB. In saying this however, the BB for normal skin did provide a good medium coverage once worked into the skin with a bit of effort. The finish was very dewy and I did quite like this look to give my skin a bit of a boost and radiance for cold winter days - I'm not sure I'd enjoy it for everyday use though. The product didn't have an overpowering or chemically smell and seemed quite neutral. It lasted well, 6-8 hours - which I consider pretty good for something that isn't as thick as a foundation - I did notice it wore a bit quicker around my mouth and chin though. The packaging was attractive and functional (eye-catching and a tube that meant little mess) - although I can see there may be issues down the track with getting the product out when it is running low. I think this product did what it claims - it noticeably improved the appearance of imperfections, evened out my skin tone and hydrated my skin. The only draw back for me was the consistency and the effort to blend, but I didn't feel this was too major. Based on the affordable price and visible results, I would recommend to friends.

I was sent the BB Cream in LIGHT and I found this colour suited me well for winter. I am fair skinned but perhaps in the summer time I might need a slightly darker colour, not sure. The coverage this product offered was surprisingly good as I have some patches of missing pigment and worried that I would need to apply my foundation over the top of this to get the cover I need. However, I was quite happy to wear just this product without any other foundation over the top, for day time wear. Over all I liked this product a lot. It's not greasy either.

My skin is classified as normal, if anything it could be on the dry side, but most of the time is fine. I was amazed that you didn't need to use moisturizer before using this product. I had my doubts but it felt great. It is a nice fairly thick consistency and feels cool as you apply it which gives your face a refreshing feel. It gave me a surprisingly good coverage, better than what I had expected. I would happily wear this as my day make up, possibly not quite enough coverage if I was out at night. But it was correct on the label as it did say you can add a layer which is what I did one day. I would buy this again and the container it comes in is great as it sits upside down so it will help to get those last few mls out later!

My skin type is normal, and I liked the way the BB cream went on, a bit like mousse! It was easy to apply, it spread well with my fingers. It smells nice, one of those smells that reminds me on something from my childhood, I couldnt figure out what though! I couldnt notice the smell after applying. Its definitely not a matt or powdery product, maybe a little too shiny, or moist looking for me so I dusted with powder as thats the look I like. I found that it kind of melted into my face as the day went on, not an all day coverage, I think I would have to reapply to have an all day look, which isnt really convenient. The price is comparitive to other products from the supermarket and is worth the money, especially when a special is on! Packaging is good, small enough to fit in a makeup bag and its easy to use the right amount This BB cream didnt clog up my skin or give me any adverse reactions which was good. I would recommend this product to a friend, in fact I already have!

I've tried one other type of BB Cream which I found to slide on slide off. bit too greasy. So I was rather hesitant about this product, but was pleasantly surprised that it had a nice cover although it did'nt do too well at covering the large red zit I had on my chin. I did use my own moisturiser underneath even though it said I didn't need too, but this was more out of habit. I would definitely use this brand again

This is the first time I've used a tinted moisturiser, and I was very impressed. It did exactly what it said it would. It covered my freckles quite well, and evened out my skin colour. I would definitely use again, and have already recommended this to a few of my friends.

I have normal skin, sometimes dry sometimes oily. I found this product easy to use, easy to squeeze the right amout out of the bottle. Sheer coverage, and felt light throughout the day. On days when i didn't want to wear too much makeup, this was perfect. I would use this in replace of moisteriser, and it would give my skin a tint of colour. On days where i would wear more makeup, i would use this as a base under my bronzer. Non greasy, not powdery. Light creamy texture, blends well.
