Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I was so excited to see an affordable BB cream, especially one for sensitive skin, however I was not impressed. First of all it made me break out in a disgusting rash (which I have never had before) which resulted in me having to pay hundreds of dollars to visit a skin specialist to fix :( secondly, although the colour looked okay when first applied, I found that it oxidised and turned rather orangey on my skin and also became very shiny! I'm glad it was cheap otherwise I would have been extremely frustrated.

I dunno. I've been told that the one for oily skin is better? But this one just... it doesn't give very good coverage, it's quite patchy and it clings to my dry areas like nobody's business. I tried one in the past that I liked but I can't remember which one it is. It's not buildable at all and it's quite orangey. Just not the best one out of the range.

My skin is sensitive, prone to redness and can be fairly ‘reactive’ to products when they’re first applied. It’s also combination, with dry patches sometimes in some areas but also occasionally gets oily. Very frustrating! I’m pretty fair skinned - my regular foundation is Nars Light 2/Mont Blanc.

Garnier BB Cream Sensitive is a fairly standard BB cream consistency - similar but a little thicker than the Garnier moisturisers I’ve tried. It’s thicker/more lotion-like than most liquid foundations and than other BB creams I’ve tried (Clinique and the Body Shop).

I find it easy to apply on moisturised skin. When applied without moisturiser underneath I find it a little trickier to blend in though.

The coverage is fairly sheer - I definitely still need concealer for any spots and under the eyes when I want to look more polished, though I often have just worn the BB cream alone - probably depends on your skin and how full you like your coverage to be. For everyday I really like this level of coverage - it looks natural and fresh, not like make up.

I have the Light shade and unfortunately it’s still a little too dark for me, and fairly orange toned (I really wish there was a lighter one!). But it’s sheer enough that it’s fine when it’s well blended and applied to moisturised skin.

I find it to last all day, though I’d generally reapply or switch to foundation if I was going out at the end of the day.

I think it’s really, really good value, provided the product suits you (e.g. it suits your skin type and you don’t want something heavier) - it’s one of the cheapest BB creams I’ve seen in NZ. It’s become my preferred everyday base make up and I’m happy to have found an option that works really well that happens to be so inexpensive and readily available. It’s cheap enough that I’ve got a few bottles on the go (home, boyfriend’s place, gym bag), which is a nice luxury for something I use so often.

The packaging is basic but does the job. Sometimes too much comes out and it dries out around the lid, which is a pain, but I really wouldn’t complain too much about it at this price level.

While I love the product as an alternative to foundation or tinted moisturiser I haven’t actually found it to reduce redness or sensitivity as it claims. But it doesn’t cause any skin problems for me either.

I’d pretty much recommend that anyone give this product a go given that it’s inexpensive and overall is pretty good. The only cases where it might not be worth trying are if you know you have no use for sheer bases or for pale people (where even the Light shade is likely to be too dark).

My skin is quite sensitive which is why i chose this particular type of bb cream from the garnier range. This product has good coverage over my blemishes and other red marks. This product is really light, doesnt irritate my skin and it lasts all day. Perfect when im in a rush to go somewhere.

Just being introduced to this infamous BB cream...I love it! Its easy and smooth texture is great for applying to the face, the light coverage enables the skin to breath and still keeps you looking nice and evenly toned. Apply in the morning, whip on some lip gloss and touch up the brows and good to go...3 mins from start to go lol

I had bought this without reading any reviews so I guess that it was kinda my fault. I found this product to be terribly oily on my skin and even with powder ontop it would still be oily a couple hours later. I have a entire tube at home that hasn't been used because of how oily it sets on my skin. However for dry skin I think it would be perfect because it has quite good coverage and blends quite nicely, also I quite like the scent of this

I picked up this BB cream in the last BR vault as I always wanted to try the sensitive skin BB cream but didnt want to spend the money incase it gave me pimples.

I've been wearing this BB so much during warm weather when I'm not in the mood for a full, heavy face of makeup and this has been working a treat for me. I apply a face primer to face and then the BB cream as I have very oily skin and I need the primer to help prevent more oil.

This BB cream is quite greasy and that concerned me alot because I already have a naturally oily skin but applying the BB cream and then applying a pressed foundation powder over my T zone really works to keep the oil at bay and my fresh is kept looking fresh.

I apply the BB cream with my fingers as I find it blends easily with my fingers then with a brush. My acne has really improved so this BB cream provides the perfect amount of coverage to mask my remaining scars. Its by no means full coverage so you can see the scars on my face but you'll have to come up real close to my face to see them clearly.

The best part is that it doesnt break me out and I have no additional acne since using the BB cream. That is always a winner to me. Its been refreshing and helpful to my skins healing to not wear 3 layers of foundation everyday like I use to for me to only wear BB cream and love the look of it on my skin is such a dramatic for me.

This BB cream is relatively inexpensive, the colour medium is perfect match to my skin tone so I will keep using this BB cream and be repurchasing.

I received this from the last vault and was keen to try it because my skin can get sensitive at times, with blemishes and redness and also uneven skin tone. The packaging is nice, and a generous sized 50 ml tube. I like the SPF15 factor as well. I found that this BB cream gives me more coverage than the previous Garnier BB cream that I used, which was for oily, combination skin. This one has more of a creamy, thicker texture than the other one which was more of a thin, runny texture. My skin is olive toned which can go pale in the winter, but I found the medium shade suited me. My skin looked less red and blotchy, more evenly skin toned and no itchiness or irritation. I would recommend this BB cream for a cost effective go to.

This type of product is great if you have already nice looking skin. Since mine is either dry or oily it didn't help either of them and wore throughout the day as I would expect from a bb cream anyways.

I loved this product. Great coverage and not too heavy or oily. I have sensitive skin and had no issues while wearing it. My teenage daughter even stole it off me and used some. I found i didnt even need a concealer which was even better. Great all over makeup coverage for daytime wear.
