I have never used a BB cream before, i just use a little bit of mineral powder and a touch of bronzer. I have sensitive, fair, combination but clear skin. (no Blemishes) I found this BB cream to be quite thick and creamy in consistency, slightly a little heavy for my liking. I used my fingers to apply it and because i normally use a powder and brush i didn't particulary like this. One good thing is that it didn't have a smell which is great and i had no stinging or a reaction to it, so thats a plus! :) I used my mineral powder over the top of the cream as it had too much of a dewy finish for me. I did find it made my T zone slightly oily by the end of the day which i didn't like as i do prefer a slightly more matte finish. I think if i wanted something for a little cover with out a lot of other make up on it would be ok. I don't like the idea of having to add heaps of layers to get coverage as it feels more heavy on the skin. I think i'm sitting on the fence as to whether i would use again.

When i first put this product on, I adored it! It went on smoothly, gave a perfect cover and blended nicely. However, it soon became less-than-ideal! Anytime I touched my face, I came away with blobs of the product. It just wasn't setting. It really needs to be used as a moisturiser under some powder to help set it.
Overall, the packaging was really poorly done also... the label for 'sensitive skin' was stuck over an 'anti-aging' label.
However, it didn't cause any irritation with my skin, and it didn't appear to dry it out at all.
So in the end, I wouldn't rush out to get another bottle, but it is a good cover for days when all you want is a two-in-one make up/moistouriser!
Tips: *Use as a moistouriser UNDER a finishing powder. *Beware that it will rub off, so caution on white/light coloured shirts!
•The packaging - standard Garnier packaging, easy to recognise branding and identify the Company that produces the product. Comes in a tube - boxed.
•The price - Price is fair I think as it is not too expensive and it is a good addition to your makeup bag - however not a replacement for foundation.
Product Performance - when I first used this product it stung my skin. This calmed down after about half an hour. I found that the next time I tried the product I did not experience stinging in my skin. The product did give my skin a slight dewy look - however I did not think that the coverage was heavy enough to correct blemishes or even the skin tone. It was better at doing this if used with a Primer however not without. Good for a day look - not appropriate for a more heavy/evening look.
The product - Garnier's BB cream has a texture similar to a moisturiser crossed with a mousse foundation. It goes on light and does not feel heavy on the skin. It is more a tinted moisturiser as opposed to a foundation replacement. It has a nice light scent.
•Does it stand out from similar products? It is a good BB cream and is comparative to other products - I would not say it stands above other similar products.
Tips: Use with primer and powder foundation on top for a more blemish correcting/ skin tone even finish
I had a bit of a funny time with this product, it's targeted towards sensitive skin but when I applied it, I had a slight reaction to it. My skin was tingly but took about 10 mins to disappear. I naturally have combination, dry and sensitive skin with just a couple blemishes. I found this product to have a thick mousey texture that covered basic redness but didn't do much for blemishes. I applied it both with fingers and with a brush, I found that fingers made for a quick application and it worked better because the product warmed up and melted more into the skin. The Garnier Miracle BB Cream wasn't hydrating but it didn't cling to dry patches, it had almost a silicone texture throughout the day and set quickly. The fragrance wasn't offensive at all and it lasted well for about 5 hours if I didn't touch my face. I think the price point is good for the type of product and the packaging reflects that. Underneath foundation, it did look a bit heavy so I would recommend use on it's own. I don't think this will be my go-to product because it wasn't as hydrating as I would have liked and it didn't cover my blemishes.
Tips: Rub the BB cream into the skin with fingers to melt the product in and help it sit better, then on areas such as cheeks and nose, pat more product so you get more coverage where you need it.
It was a good product except you had to wait a bit to apply your foundation otherwise I found my powder would start rolling off. Also for my skin it was a bit thick, I could really feel it on my face which I don't like about make up. But as a product I could just wear on it's on for those days I didn't want to wear much makeup but still wanted my skin to look great, it was perfect
Tips: Wait about 5 minutes before applying your foundation over top. This product was more useful to me in days I didn't want to wear too much makeup, as this alone was great coverage
Nice product, feels nice applied to the face gives a bit of a glow but I don't get any coverage from this just a radiance. Shade is not too bad (light) it is a tad dark for me but is much better than the light shade from the Age defying and regular line of Garnier BB creams this one is less orange than both of these and is still wearable on my super pale skin - it is a tad yellow undertoned so might not work for super fair rosy toned girls who have pink undertones. Evens out the skin a bit but doesn't really provide any coverage. No fragrance which I love and hasn't caused me to break out after 2 solid days of wear (I have super sensitive skin which reacts to new products instantly) so that is a positive. Texture - creamy easy to apply and definitely non-drying, I actually applied a powder over this and I was quite shiny around mid-day (I am quite normal-dry) so keep this in mind if you have oily skin and sensitive skin - probably not the product for you. I am also disappointed that this variant is full of parabens which the Oilfree/age defying BB variants do not contain and I like to avoid in my makeup products as a rule. Overall definitely not a must have for me but I will definitely use and finish it up, it just doesn't provide enough coverage to warrant using all that often unless I just want to throw something on in a hurry for no/low makeup days with a bit of spf. I might see what its like as a primer for foundation may be good for evening out under my makeup.
I found this BB cream to be good for every day use, it was light and hydrating whilst also covering my redness. I did find that I got a bit shiny towards the middle of the day but some light powder applied over the top fixed that. The texture is very light and easily spreadable, you don't need much product. I tried mixing it with my foundation to get more coverage with hydration for a night out but it didn't mix very well and was also hard to apply with a foundation brush - you need the heat from your hands to help spread the cream. Overall I thought it was an ok product and would consider buying it again. It helped cover my redness while not irritating my sensitive skin.
Tips: Use a very small amount first then go back for a second application to get a good coverage without being too heavy or shiny.
THe BB cream was a very light cream that absorbed well so didn't leave my skin feeling oily. THis is a great feature as it gave me a light cover. The BB Cream smelt very artificial and it put me off a little. Overall the BB cream reduced some redness and was a good light cover but not right for me.
I had used this product almost everyday upon receiving it. I am not impressed with this BB cream, the coverage is too light and did not make my face looked flawless. I normally use Maybelline BB cream or The Faceshop's Angel skin BB cream and I would rather stick with them and never purchase this garnier BB cream nor recommend them to my family & friends as I think it will be a waste of money!
I frequently use a BB cream as light coverage for the gym and a primer/base for my foundation. However this BB cream fell slightly short. The consistency was mildly runny but looked nicely coloured when squeezed onto finger tips, it applies/blends easily onto skin, however the coverage fell short, i have combination skin with lots of freckles and rosacea of the checks. Other BB creams i have used can cover this nicely, but i felt the Garnier was too light. The fragrance was light as I did not detect a smell when applying cream. I mostly used this as a primer/base for foundation so i cannot judge the longevity, however the coverage felt quite sheer, so may rub off easily.It is a very affordable product, around half the price of other BB creams on the market, so good for a student budget. The packaging is nice and simple also very compact, with an appropriate squeeze bottle for the product. I would recommend it to a friend who is possibly new to using BB creams or prefers the sheer, light makeup look. I would possibly purchase again if i could not afford my normal Liole Triple the solution BB cream as the price is reasonable for someone on a student budget. Also the product is an affective base/primer.
