Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I love this bb cream! It doesn't give thaaat much coverage at all but it evens out skin tone and redness nicely and creates a really nice glow with a really nice finish! Great for days when you just want something light on your face. I probably wouldn't recommend for people with really oily skin as it can highlight oily areas of the face - nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of powder though.

I am a big fan of BB creams and this is now my new favorite. It feels so light and silky on my skin.It also absorbes straight away, meaning I can carry on with my beauty regieme straight away. I have sensitive skin and I haven't noticed any patchyness or dryness since using it, which I have noticed when using other products. The coverage is fantastic and straight away I noticed the evenness in my complextion.

My BB cream arrived a week ago so I have worn each day with different looks and put it to the test!

To begin with I always look at packaging that the product comes in. The box containing the bottle had a lot of information which I sometimes find over whelming but after having a read I found there was a lot of good info on this box. Then looking at the bottle I found this was a bit more simple and provided all the information that I needed. I must explain why this product did not get full 5/5 from me...as I inspected the bottle I found there was a sticker saying 'sensitive skin' which is the type I was after but I just felt it was strange that this was a sticker. So I peeled it off to find that the bottle actually said 'anti-ageing'!? How cheeky! Although I thought this was very wrong I continued to put the product to the test!

My skin is generally soft and smooth with redness. It also reacts to anything with a strong fragrance. First impressions of the product was that it was reasonably thick with no noticeable fragrance. To apply the product I would squeeze a pea size amount onto my fingers. I would then spread the product onto my face and rub it in with my fingers like I would do with moisturiser. The product made my skin feel extremely smooth and easily covered my redness which is a major plus for me! The product provided me with semi coverage which is great for a day time look. To take the product to a night time look I applied the BB cream as a base coat and then applied my foundation. This made for a flawless base and worked like a dream! The product lasted all day but felt light so I would forget that I was wearing anything! For $17.49 this is a great price and definitely worth it! Also how convenient that I can run down to the supermarket and get this product!

Over all I would recommend this product to all just as long as you were getting the product that type that has been advertised!

I got to trial the BB Sensitive Cream - I have a little redness on my cheeks so opted for this type. I chose "light" which is perfect for winter, but I wouldn't want it to be any paler. I have a fairly normal skin type, and have used the normal variety in the past, however because I got a choice I wanted to try the cream for sensitive skin.

This BB is quite creamy, but not overly thick; it was just the consistency I expected it to be, and wasn't disappointed.

I have applied it with my foundation brush and my fingers, and I got a very similar result, so will stick to using my fingertips. It's very easy to apply and spread. It has more of a sheer coverage which it fine with me, as I don't like the full foundation look and it makes my skin look more dewy, which I also love. I don't like a matte finish.

I like that it doesn't have an awful fragrance, however I have used other BB creams with nice smells, so that wouldn't have bothered me at all. Fragranced lotions don't affect my skin at all.

This BB cream lasts all day - if I was going out after work I might use a light foundation for a fuller cover or finish with a mineral powder, but I love this look for daytime, and it feels like I'm not wearing anything apart from moisturiser. I also love that it has a sunscreen.

I think this BB Cream is well worth the price tag - I have tried other more expensive brands, and there is only one brand I like better but it's $35 AUD so price wise this wins my vote.

I'm a real sucker for pretty packaging, and I love purple and green colours so wouldn't probably have given this a second look - I don't hate the packaging, but I wouldn't have given it a second look on the shelf.

After using this product for 4 days, I have noticed my skin tone looks more even while wearing the product, but once I have washed it off, I don't notice my skins appearance to be any different.

I would definitely recommend it to friends; I love the feel of it, and the price is very competitive compared to other creams on the market. The tube is easy to use, it stands on it's flip to open cap (so you don't have to bash the product to get any out) and a generous size. The normal variety I brought over a year ago, lasted me 6 months. A little bit truly does go a long way.

Normally, I am not a huge foundation user, I tend to think less is more in this area! I have 12 (I just counted) different foundations in my drawer, and all of them are still 99% full. I tend to try the latest thing out, no matter what the cost, hoping I get a natural yet adequate coverage, yet I always feel it accentuates the lines and I end up looking older. So, I was very happy to be picked for this latest trial, as I haven't yet tried the Garnier BB cream - or any BB creams for that matter!

My skin is normal, but I opted for the sensitive one as I do get redness when hot or stressed, and I find sensitive products much kinder.

I have two words to sum up this foundation. EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!!

I chose the Light shade (I'm normally a beige in most foundations), and honestly, it just glided onto my skin and almost disappeared, but still left a lovely subtle coverage that actually evened out my skin tone, just as they said it would. There was no streaks, no powdery residue, and no accentuation of my lines/wrinkles, which seems to be my biggest frustration with other foundations.

It was easy to apply (I used a sponge) and it lasted all day. All I added was a tiny bit of bronzer on my cheeks and I was good to go!

Considering this product is under $20, I am really really impressed. Some of my unloved foundations are between $50-$100, and honestly, this Garnier BB cream actually does a better job for me.

Its a really lovely product and one I will continue to use. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends!

I got to trial this product, but I will buy this to use again. This was my first time using a BB cream and I came in a little skeptical, but have been very pleasantly surprised.

I applied just using my fingers (no need for a sponge) and it spread very easily and gave great coverage.

The BB Cream is a little creamier and thicker than my normal moisturiser, so I used moisturiser underneath the BB Cream as my skin can be quite dry when I get out of the shower.

I used the medium tone, which is a little bit dark for me (in winter months) and it was a little bit orangey, but with my pressed powder applied on top it works out better. The winner for me is that the combination of the BB Cream and pressed powder makes the colour stay on all day. I normally have to reapply powder throughout the day - but I didn't need to with the BB Cream underneath. The powder also adds a matte effect which the BB Cream doesn't do.

The squeeze top tube is great so I can control on the amount of product and the secure cap means it won't leak or spill in my bag when I am travelling.

Bonuses for me was that it lasted all day, is SPF 15, it evened out my skin tone, concealed my blemishes, and was fragrance free.

Would be better if there were different shades - as I would probably get one between the light and the medium for winter.

Given that it looks like it's going to last a long time (as you only need a small amount), I think the price is very reasonable.

I would recommend it to a friend (but they might want to trial the shades first).

Every time I uses this it clumped up and flaked off as well as not giving me a even tone. It was fairly easy to apply but then this happened.. maybe it was off?

I have combination skin but its super sensitive so I tend to always go for a sensitive skin product, this miracle cream gave me so many pimples that I feel like a teenager again. What is with people making things for sensitive skin super oily??

The cream its self was a medium thickness and only had a subtle scent on sunscreen. I gave me thin coverage but the shade was weirdly orange which is strange since it was meant to be the "light" shade. It last half the day before it started going even more uneven.

Really don't think there is any miracle to this cream, it just made my skin horrible while making me look like I didn't know how to apply make up for a few days... embarrassing!

This was my first ever time trying out a bb cream product, and i would rather use this product then any other one i have currently been using, it is way different to the normal powder foundation i normally buy through avon, this bb cream leaves my face feeling fresh, smooth an like im not even wearing any source of foundation as to the powder foundation leaves my skin feeling and looking like ive got a huge amount on when i haven't. The bb cream is easy to apply, don't have to use a brush just my fingers an doesn't leave no colour on my fingers like other foundations would. The bb cream feels like fresh water or nice smooth mousterizer it has no oily feel to it at all. I would rather this bb cream then any other foundation sort i have already tried an i have already started reckommending the usuage of it to others. My friends will love it just as much as i already do an il be buying this product from now on. However when recieving my item the box was damaged luckily the product was not, box clearly shows directions of usuage but the actually product does not. Very happy with this product an thankyou for letting me trail it.

Being 50+ and being a little sensitive around the cheek area is clearly an issue for me. This variation of BB cream has an active ingredient called Allantoin which has been used for skin irritations such as dryness, redness, rosacea and even used as an anti ageing product, hence why I chose this one for the trial. The medium shade I chose blended perfectly well with my skin tone, The gel like texture is lightweight spreads very easily (I used my fingers with no problem) and I noticed was there was very little fragrance. I used it five mornings in a row and not once did I experience any irritation. It felt very lightweight, and my skin did not experience any dryness in fact it felt moisturised and soft. I tried it without moisturiser first which was absolutely fine and had no issues. Then I tried it after applying a moisturiser (I used an oil based one) and that didn't work out as well because the BB cream just seemed to smear and I ended up with a greasy patchy mess. It does not give a full coverage. The packaging says it is a sheer coverage and that's exactly what it does.You can apply a second application after the first dries for more coverage which is what I did, then I applied a mineral powder over the top and it looked flawless and smooth, except my spots from previous sun damage was still quite clearly visible. Unfortunately it did not on any of the five days last all day. By 1.30pm I needed to re apply, which I just don't have time to do when I am busy at work, but my skin still felt smooth and quite hydrated despite all that. I prefer my daily face creams to have an SPF of at least 30 but in this case the sun factor of just 15 in this cream is protection enough for the sensitive ones and I'm fine with that. The packaging is very detailed about its contents, active ingredients and instructions are simple and easy to follow. The tube of 50ml is the squeezing type and not the pump application and a couple of times I accidentally squeezed too much out and so the excess was totally wasted. I would certainly buy this product again after trialling it. You seriously only need to use a small amount at a time which means this 50ml tube is certainly going to last a very good while and for the price of $17.45 that is such good value. So it doesn't stay on all day but that can easily be rectified by reapplication. It does most of what it claims to do. A great daily All-In-One soothing, reliable, non irritating cream for those who like myself prefer a sheer flawless finish.
