GARNIER'S new BB Cream,  combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.

The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.

GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.

It has a  new active ingredient,  Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.

Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish

GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream is available in two shades - light and medium.

Not a great first impression

I did deliberately buy a darker shade than normal so I can mix it with a light shade I accidently brought, but it was rather orange. However once it's blended out, it becomes regular shade than orange. I was not impressed with the consistency of it. It poured out because it was stored vertically with the opening end down. It just kept coming out, even when I held it upright, so now I'll store it upright.

It's runny, but it dries quick, so I have to work quickly with it or work on small areas at a time.

It does leave a soft feel to it afterwards, but it does leave me feeling a bit oily after a few hours, even when it was set with a powder. It has low coverage for spots, but gives your skin colour.

Tips: Wearing a primer before you put this on will leave it lasting longer and not as shiny.

Feels Light on the Skin but Too Orange

I got given this in a product promotion. First I like that it is feels really light on your skin and does a fantastic job of keeping oily shine down. But that's where it ends. It's way too orange and dark for my skin and I have a bit of color and warmish skin tone. Even if I use a beauty blender it's still too orange. What I do is use it to tint a bit of otherwise sort of whiten sunscreen and then apply it on with a damp beauty blender. Then it looks okay even though it is a bit on the orange side still it's passable. Needless to say I won't purchase this item and I only use this on days when I really don't have to go anywhere just want a bit of extra spf on and can't be bothered with thick whitening sunscreen, well a greasy face all day. I am a skincare and sunscreen nut so don't mind extra spf in my products.

Tips: If you have this and it's too dark you can use this to tint an otherwise whitening sunscreen and this will help thin it out and make it more matte and for a lighter application. I also recommend applying this with a damp beauty blender for the best application.

Definitely not for my kind of oiliness

My first impression was that the tube was cute, but on taking the lid off was met with an overflow mess since the lid is on the bottom of the tube and the formula is very thin and runny. On applying it to my face I realised it dried very quickly so I had to apply and blend it quickly, which I didn't like having to rush so much. Once I'd applied it, I noticed that it made my usually shiny nose really dry and flaky, which was not a good look. The light shade also seems a bit chalky for my skin, so I removed it and haven't used it again. I had been using the anti ageing BB cream, but found it left my skin oily, so thought this would be perfect, but not so much.

Not a fan

I've tried lots of BB creams, and this one was a real flop. The consistency is awful, far too runny for a BB cream. The coverage is ever so minimal, very light with not much depth to the colour at all. More of a lightly tinted moisturiser than a BB cream. And it left my skin feeling dry and irritated. Just not a very product at all. Very disappointed!

BB Cream

I got this free off facebook so I thought why not. I love love love the idea of a BB cream, however, I do not like this one and still have not found one I like. I just feel like they do not give enough coverage at all, and usually feel quite cakey.

Garner BB Cream

I tried this BB Cream before I switched to the other Garnier BB Cream, this one was a bit orangey on my skin & I didn't like the smell, & it didn't give enough coverage for blemishes. Very runny formula. Would not recommend.

Really did not like this

Okay so the reviews on this are really mixed, and I'm in the camp of haters.

My skin type is relatively sensitive, and fluctuates between dry phases and oily phases. This didn't work in either of those phases. The formula is runny, and when I say runny I mean like close to water consistency so it leaks EVERYWHERE. Second of all it applies below averagely and doesn't provide any coverage whatsoever. Last but not least, it made my skin 187x oilier and broke me out in these rashy type pimples.

Sigh. I wanted to like it, I did. Good price, has some decent reviews, but it really just did not agree with my skin at all.

Tips: Read both the positive and negative reviews and listen to the ones with a similar skin type to you!

Ain't no miracle skin perfector

As a person who does not have the best skin I'm always open to trying new things. Although it feels nice when you apply it, I saw no particular difference in my face. Best not to both putting on foundation after applying the cream because you make will end up looking not so great.
