Clinique's Even Better Glow foundation is one of my favourite foundations. Why?
Firstly I am a big fan of Clinique's liquid foundations as it is, religiously using the Anti-Blemish Solutions Foundation and then the Even Better foundation and now I am on to Even Better Glow. Each of these has a large range of shades including neutral-toned foundation which has been a perfect match for my skin.
The squeeze bottle packaging is great for getting out the maximum product, while the narrow tip of the bottle means that you can slowly disperse product without messily pouring it out or the separate need of a pump.
The formula has a medium consistency, not too runny. I've applied the foundation with both a beauty blender and a flat foundation brush and both applied it nicely to get good, even coverage across my face, easily hiding blemishes and scarring.
As anticipated by a product aimed at making you 'glow' this has a dewy finish.. The luminizing particles in the formula really do create a radiant finish which is what I love about this product, it transforms tired, dull skin to luminous but natural-looking skin.
I was looking forward to a makeup that claimed to be sweat and humidity-resistant as I took this with me when I went to Rarotonga but unfortunately this is a point on which I had to mark this product down. I found at the slightest hint of sweat this would start moving and in humidity it just did not stand up. I used a good primer and setting spray but sadly my makeup still melted.
Despite this one point this is still one of my favourite foundations and I have no problem recommending it to others.
I love the dewy look for foundation, so fresh and such a lovely finish.
Clinique has been one of my favourite brands for foundation for quite some time, due to the great formulas that do not irritate my sensitive skin.
This foundation is easy to blend and looks very natural, although it covers very well, I sometimes stray to other brands but I do keep coming back to this foundation, as it's so nice!
