I'm so glad they reforumlated this from the felt pens cus these are fantastic!! You can layer them up to create a really opaque lip or just one layer if you want a lighter, stained look. The gloss does wear down but it leaves you with a lovely stain on your lips. I have two brighter shades and a nude shade. The nude looks a bit weird when you first put it on but once it settles, you are left with a gorgeous, natural, pinky colour. I love these!

Tips: scrub and condition your lips beforehand as it clings to dry patches
Great colour, fun to apply, love the crayon look - I always think of applying makeup as colouring in. Moisturisers lips for a decent amount of time.
At first when this came out, i didn't know what all the fuss was about. Tried it once and didn't like it at all. But when postie plus had their sale on them, i had to get it. And OMG i love it!!! Ahh done know how i lived without them. So moisturising, and the colour is amazing. The peppermint smell and the tingly feeling on the lips feels so nice! Definitely is an amazing product. Shame i couldn't get them all :(
Great on your lips, highly pigmented, has a very minty smell too! It's definitely super moisturizing.
I wear mine most days
I was so excited to get one of these stains, I was looking for a berry colour and I couldn't afford buying rebel so I was happy to find this colour, even though it doesn't compare to rebel. I love that it is very pigmented on the lips and very moisturising which I love ! the colour lasts quite long on and when it fades it leaves a stain ( sort of pinkish) which I don't mind. It also has a slight mint scent and I love that it looks like a crayon, makes applying easier for me. Overall I am happy with what I have paid for and I think I will be getting some more colours- hopefully ASAP :)
I am in love with this product and wear them most days when i'm in a rush as they apply nicely and stain my lips so even when i'm busy and cannot re-apply as much as i need i still have a nice colour on my lips. You will of course need to apply every few hours and after eating but their colours are gorgeous!
I purchased the box set which contains five different shades, under the impression these were the same as the Revlon Matte Balms. They weren't, so at the time I was highly disappointed with the gloss and pigmentation.
Throughout the months however, I've been playing around with these and I find them very wearable for daytime use. They're quite sheer but very buildable on the lips. They leave a decent amount of stain, so even after eating or drinking, or usual long wear, a strong tint remains on the lips and only a small amount of gloss or reapplication of the balm is needed. They also have a slight minty scent.
Tips: Really pack it on the lips for a fuller, more opaque appearance on the lips.
I own this balm stain in the peachy coral colour and I absolutely adore it! It is the most beautiful, playful, spring colour which adds a pop of colour whilst keeping your lips very natural looking.
Firstly, the smell is wonderful. I'm a sucker for anything minty on the lips and this is definitely minty. I think the mint is supposed to make the lips plumper and I really do think it helps to round them out a bit. Mint is a lot less boring than no flavour at all so that is good for me!
The packaging is kind of cool, its almost like a jumbo eyeshadow pencil or crayon and there is a lot in there! They each have the colour of the balm stain on the package which makes it extra handy to locate the colour you're after as well. The label does rub off after a bit so if thats something that bugs you then stay clear. I am happy to report that the lid stays put so it can easily be put into the hand bag without risk of a lipstick explosion (do lipsticks explode?? I don't think so but needles to say there will be no unexpected mess in your bag ladies!)
The product itself is very nourishing. I find you really do have to exfoliate the lips first though, especially with the lighter colours it has a tendency to show up every bit of dried skin but if you take the time to exfoliate its great. The product glides one easily, it is kind of opaque at first but i like to really rub it in with my finger like you would a potted lip balm and that helps the stain to sink in and makes it look more natural.
The stain does last for a while which is nice but it definitely needs reapplication throughout the day. I guess its pretty much a very luxurious, nourishing lip balm so if you're a lady with dry lips (especially in the winter) but you don't want to give up the colour then this is the product for you!
I have only tried the pink tones and I really really didn't like it!! which was a huge disappointment to me because I thought they would be great! they were waaaayyyy to glossy for me I didn't suit it at all, didn't dry so I would say going more along the lines of a gloss? application was easy not sure how easy it would be once the stick dulled down abit though. good pigmentation I thought but for a lip stain I think far to glossy
These Revlon just bitten kissable lip stains are amazing!! They have sheer ones, opaque ones, matte ones and a very wide range of colours. They are amazing because you can easily take them in your bag. You don't have to manually sharpen them like the Nars Lip pencils or the NYX jumbo pencils, you just wind the product up. They are very creamy and truly are kissable. Love! <3
