Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle

I used this and it did everything it said it would. My nails gew longer and stronger. It was worth every penny.

My nails take ages to grow and break really easily but after using this for a few months I've seen a massive improvement in strength and length :) I've used similar products in the past and have found that they flake and chip easily whereas Nail Growth Miracle stays put until I take it off.

My nails are really brittle and prone to splitting which isn't helped by my extra hand drying hobbies of sewing and doing up old items & furniture which requires a lot of sanding.

I managed to nab this from Make Up Direct with a bonus cuticle scrub for around $20 and hoped like mad it would give me happy, healthy nails. While it did seem to make a slight difference, it was only while using it so as soon as the bottle ran out, my nails went back to their old ways. I didn't entirely stop my nails splitting or help them grow but it did lessen the splitting a bit... in saying that, applying the product every other day was a bit of a pain.

Overall I doubt I'd purchase this again, I'd use it if I was given it but I've had more success with Lemony Flutter from Lush which also lasts forever so I'll stick with that :)

I'm a big fan of Sally Hansen for nail products and if there's something I splurge on it's nail treatments. But I was lucky to land this in a gift pack along with a nail color and some other things. I was thrilled to land a nail treatment since that's what I splurge on since I like to apply them weekly whether I put a color on top of this or not. This comes in a nice little gold bottle nothing fancy and it's a clear treatment. I applied this under polish or sometimes on it's own to give my nails a nice big of shine protect them. Unfortunately I have used up three-quarters of the bottle till the consistency has gone goopy and I didn't see a single improvement on my nails. The polish did adhere nicely or my nails had a nice shine if I didn't apply color on top but was it worth almost $29? Unfortunately not. I ended up using this as a base coat on my toenails as my toenails on my tiniest toes are cracked and split and other than just be a base coat it didn't do anything, I guess the polish went on a bit smoother than if I didn't apply a base coat but nothing that a cheaper base coat could do. I will be tossing the bottle out and I won't be purchasing this. I wouldn't recommend this personally, it's just not worth the price.

My nails are repeatedly brutalised due to my work (I work in broadcasting, so I am constantly outside picking gear up, rolling up cables covered in water and mud and detrius). Because of this I have had issues with my nails splitting and breaking like crazy.

I picked this up in the hope that this would help strengthen my nails and allow them to grow. Unfortunately it just didn't work for me.

I used this as directed (every other day), and it didn't do anything to help with the splitting and breaking of my nails. This could be due to the nature of my job and the fact I am rough on my hands but I didn't feel this did anything for me whatsoever and I won't repurchase.

I have really brittle nails, prone to breaking and splitting. I have never been able to grow them long and now that I work in an office and spend a bit of time using weights etc they get knocked around a fair bit which doesn’t help my cause. Normally im not into these sorts of products as I think they very rarely work but I love Sally Hansen products especially polishes so I thought I would give it a whirl. It wasn’t cheap so I was really hoping I would see some difference in my nails, I wasn’t expecting miracles but at least a bit of help in the brittleness department. I love Sally Hansen’s bottle shapes designs and the brushes she uses thye are a really good size. I applied this every other day sometimes every day (if I remembered or had a spare five minutes) and used this for just over a month. Consistency wise this was quite a thin formula which was good, it glided on easily and didn’t go tacky. It dried very fast (super bonus) and gave a very nice shiny natural finish. Unfortunately for me it really didn’t do anything to help with the brittleness or nail growth or any of the other issues of my nails. But I did continue to use this as a clear nail polish just to give my sad little nails a nice finish on them. Overall I wouldn’t buy again as it didn’t work for me but wasn’t a total waste as I do still use it as a clear polish or a top coat.

I fist picked up a bottle of this from the airport in the UK when I went over there when I was younger. I used to bite my nails and was trying to get them to grow out quickly, and this is the only thing that worked for me. I still use this to this day, and it still really works for me.

It has worked well for me. I am a nail polish addict and cannot go more than a few days without changing colours. My nails have been quite brittle lately and have been splitting. This definitely made my nails grow faster, I have applied it every other day as per the instructions on the bottle. It hasn't fixed my nails but I am happy with the growth as I was able to trim the bits of my nails that have split off to start fresh again. It is a little pricey for a treatment for your nails and I must say it is disappearing from the bottle quickly but I am loving how quickly my nails grow when applied as directed.

It is also great as a base coat for others like me who are love to have their nails painted most of the time :-)

I would repurchase but no on the regular as the price is quite high.

I definitely think this product helps nail strength and growth, however, it is time consuming cos you have to do it every second day in order to achieve results. In saying that, if you are disciplined and you ensure you do it every second day, you will get the results you're after! My nails definitely ended up longer and stronger and they were easier to maintain. It is a bit more expensive than what I'd ordinarily use, but it definitely pays off! Do recommend. :)
