The Official Nail Color of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York
Long lasting nail polish

No chip color nail laquer straight from the shows. Easy-flow brush. Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene free.

First apply a clear base coat to prevent your nails from yellowing and to help your nail color last longer. With one sweep, paint the first line of nail polish up the center of your nail starting from the base to the tip. For the cleanest look, be sure to leave a small space at the base of the nail. Then apply nail color to the rest of the nail.

Great nude

I have this in one of the colours from the nude/stripped collection and it's amazing.

It is a perfect nude, and it lasted for over a week before chipping. It's what I had hoped OPI Samoan Sand to be - but at half the price. Two coats and it was opaque, which is just what I was after and I was so surprised as it's a nude. I'll try more colours but I am surprised everyone says they chip as mine lasted so well.

They last through moving house

I've always been intrigued by these nailpolishes but didnt like the colour assortment available. I'm not the retro-neon type of girl. Give me classic glam and I'm all over it.

I found the colour Latte and I had to have it. It's the perfect nude on my olive skin and its "barely there" feature makes it even more beautiful. People have complimented me on my beautiful nails but after closer inspection realised its a nail polish. So its like a nail polish with a mystery :).

I use 2 coats and then its the perfect colour intensity for me. I love that its not streaky and most of all its quick drying. I'm a busy girl so I dont have time so sit with my hands in the air :)

This nail polish promises to be chip resistant and wow did I put it through its paces and test this theory. We recently moved house and this nail polish put up with packing, ripping boxes, carrying furniture, being knocked about and it still remained as beautiful as I when I first applied it. Absolute for me.

The only colour I will use is Latte because I dont like any of the colours but this nail polish is beautiful and will definitely save you the re-application time because its long lasting.

Tips: If you dont like changing your nail colour very often and want an affordable long wearing nail polish then this will please you.

Yes, yes, yes!

One thing that's is difficult to find with nail polishes are ones that last, don't streak and won't chip. Ones that you don't need to apply several layers to get a good coverage. This product has it all.

Great coverage. Upon applying the formula is really pigmented! 3 swipes over my nail with this and my nail was covered nicely and not streaky. I didn't nèd to go over them again to get a colour build up.

I had the colour on my nails for a good week before I noticed sign of general wear. It didn't chip and It didn't peel. I didn't find I needed a base coat or a top coat. This stuff had great lasting power on its own and drys really quick once applied.

The bottle is cute and simple. Clear see through glass so you can see the product and a black lid. Twist the lid open and on the end is a small brush. It is a little bit little compared to other nail polishes but I didn't find It hard too use.

I got my colour power red from my mum for my birthday and love it. I will definitely pick up more of these when I see them and need them.

Chiffon Chic

I have Maybelline Colour Show Nail Lacquer in Chiffon Chic (#160) and it's a pretty, bubblegum pink. Maybelline claim that it's "no chip" but it does chip eventually, after about 5 days wear (and a lot of keyboard typing).

The nail polish is packaged in a simple, cylindrical glass bottle with a matching black cylindrical lid with the "easy-flow" brush attached. I think this brush to be a little on the skinny side which makes painting nails a little more difficult. Instead of 3 strokes to cover the nail, I sometimes have to use four.

I applied a quick-drying clear base coat before using Chiffon Chic, as I didn't want the red tones in the pink polish to stain my natural nails, turing them yellow. A base coat will help your polish to glide on easier and it helps it last longer, too.

Depending on how much typing I need to do, this polish lasts 3-5 days on my nails before showing signs of wear, cracks or chips. On my toes, it lasts 3 - 4 weeks, with no chipping.

I love that this polish is 3-free: Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene free.

Would I purchase it again? Possibly, unless a better formula comes along before I need to replace this bottle. Would I recommend it? Yes, it's a good quality nail lacquer, its just a pity about the thin brush.

Tips: Use a quick-drying base coat and a good quality top coat for a long-lasting finish.

Maybelline colour show

I have the Maybelline New York colour show in Pinkalicious. I received it for free when I bought the Maybelline BB cream and powder. The shade is a very pretty pink, quite a dark colour. It's in a small clear bottle with a black lid, the writing on it is in silver, looks cute and gives it a nice touch. The brush is nice and easy to hold and the nail polish glides on my nails smoothly. It's actually quite a thick polish, one coat looks great. The formula has very small sparkles in it and it has a nice shiny look to it. I love it how it drys really fast and is easy to apply. I would purchase again.

Show the color

I recently bought a Maybelline color show nail lacquer in onxy rush color from Countdown for $6 during the sale. This is a very reasonable price and you can buy it in full price as well which is just under $10. The consistency of the the nail polish is very thin, I have to apply at least 2-3 coats to get the right color. The color lasts long only if you apply a topcoat else it easily chips off after 2 days. The nail polish doesn't dry on its own quickly, I have to apply rapid dry topcoat. Overall I really like the number of color choices Maybelline has and it's a good buy too for it's price.

Tips: Apply top coat for a long lasting nails.

Tidy nails for a whole week!

I purchased this nail polish on impulse. I had never tried this range of nail polishes before, but it was a bargain so I had to have it! And now I want alllll of the colours!

Firstly, on application I really liked how this nail lacquer went on. The brush was small and the nail polish was thin and smooth to apply. However, I did have a apply a few coats to get my desired color, and my partner did comment how it was smellier than usual. Once it was dry it was so lovley and shiny and it stayed that was for the whole week with no chips at all! (admittedly I was at home most the week, rather than working but I was still doing 'stuff') - And to top all of this off I have just today read that it is Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene free and I love any beauty product under $10!

All in all, I am going to be buying more of the colour range of Maybelline Colour Show polishes.

Tips: I always apply my nail polish to clean, dry nails using a good quality base and top coat.

1000x Yes

I won't lie, before i got into doing my nails, the brand on nail polish never appealed to me. I have never brought it, and honestly had no plans to buy it. It was only when i became more nail creative, that i started sourcing from different brands and this is the brand i chose for my black, and gold nail polishes.

Price wise, these are a really affordable option and for around $5 you get a lot of nail polish (or i think so anyway). Plus this brand is so easy to source, being at farmers, Kmart, and big bucket sales, so literally they are available to everyone, which is more that i can say about many other beauty products.

So the packaging of this product is pretty basic. It comes in a cylinder shaped glass bottle, which has a matching cylinder shaped lip. The top and bottom of the bottle is flat, simple design, like i said but it does the job. Actually, something i love about the design it the nail polish colour names are on the top of the lid, so when you have these arranged nicely, you can read the nail polish colour, without having to actually pull out the bottle. Might sound like a small thing, but when you have a lot of nail polishes, it comes in handy.

One thing i am not a huge fan of with the design is the brush. It is just so tiny and little. In saying that, i mostly use these colours for feature designs, so i dont need to cover the whole nail anyway.

The colors i have onyx rush and bold gold. I find the formulas really similar, with the black nail polish being slightly slightly thinner than the gold. Overall, these nail polishes are really pigmented, even though the polishes are a bit runnier than others i have tried, i find the one coat of this gives my perfect coverage, which is pretty impressive.

These nail polishes are long wearing, the don't chip easily, and i surprisingly like the thinner formula. I would use these again in a heart beat

In love

I love that with this polish you can see the colo in the first coat, unlike most of the polish I have tried where it takes normally 2 or 3. When they are on sale it's a bigger bonus, Kmart had them for $4. It doesn't seem to streak but more blend together again meaning less need for extr coat to balance it out. I like the size of the lid as it makes it easy to grip onto when painting.

Completely acceptable

These nail polishes are fine - not my go-to, but if they're on special and there's a colour I want, I'll go for it. They do lots of collections which means there's always a good colour selection and often new shades.

They go on fine and dry quite quickly, which is good because the lighter shades in particular need a few coats to look good. They don't go streaky.

The one huge drawback with these polishes over other brands is they stain your nails quite considerably. No matter what colour I've used in this range, if I don't use a base coat they make my nails yellow.

Tips: Definitely use a base coat!
