Tips: I apply lip liner before I apply RED's or bold colours along with lip brush. Also I conceal around the edges after lippie to ensure a crisp line all around <3
I have Viva Glam II and it is STUNNING. It's the perfect darker nude colour. It feels really comfortable on the lips and applies well. I love this lipstick, it hangs out in my handbag and I adore the red detailing.
Seeing me dithering at the lipstick selection, the lady in the Santa Monica MAC store took pity on me and asked what I was looking for. I told her I needed a nude lipstick but couldn't decide. She took me to the Viva Glam selection and showed me Viva Glam V, which I hadn't even considered. But of course, she wasmright. This lip colour can complement pink palettes, warm to peach tones, or blend nicely with beige or sandy hued make up. The lustre finish never appears brash or glittery, instead it shimmers gently. Application is easy, a single coat from the tube is covers well and lasts without feeling dry or heavy. This lipstick is very forgiving of the tiny lines around my lips that richer colours like to highlight! As with all MAC lipsticks, the fragrance of Viva Glam V is delicious. The tube is elegant and durable, with the red line and lettering that distinguish it from other MAC lipsticks.
I adore this lipstick. It's the perfect red with a subtle gold shimmer. It has the usual delicious vanilla scent and for me lasts around 4 hours. I also love the amazing red limited edition packaging.
Tips: Use the matching lipglass over the top for a beautiful glossy shine!
I have this lipstick in the shade Viva Glam Rihanna, and I absolutely adore it.
The shade is a gorgeous frosted Christmas red. It has the classic MAC vanilla scent which I love. The lipstick is nice and creamy and just glides over the lips. The lipstick does not tug on the lips or settle into the lines on the lips. I find that this lipstick lasts all day throughout eating and drinking as well.
The packaging on the lipstick is also gorgeous. It is in a matte deep red bullet, which shines a brighter red in the light. It looks gorgeous sitting in my lipstick holder!
Tips: If you're having any doubts about picking this up, remember the full cost of the lipstick is going straight to the MAC AIDS fund. <3
Love this!
Im not really a bright color lipstick type of person, I tend to buy allot of nudes, but I figured every girl needs a red lipstick (or two) in their life
This is a lovely color, its not too drying and stay really well. I did find I needed a lip pencil to keep it tidy but still really impressed with this product
Pretty packaging and love the mac vanilla smell to their lipsticks
its a a deep red, but is still quite bright to me, love that its matte
Tips: team with a lip liner to keep the edged tidy :)
Super nice lipstick. Absolutely love MAC lipsticks and this one is definitely no exception. The colour payoff is incredible and the actual lipstick smells amazing which is great. They are pretty expensive but the quality is unbeatable.
Tips: Buy them online or in duty free at the airport.
Mac's Viva Glam II has to be one of my all time favourite lipsticks. I have major issues when it comes to nude lipsticks, especially when it comes to the lightness of the lipstick but Viva Glam II is my absolute favourite nude lipstick at the moment.
It is great for people with a light to medium skintone like myself and I feel as though it would suit a wide variety of different skintones.
I believe the formula is a satin finish which has to be my favourite Mac finish. It is the perfect balance between matte and glossy and looks quite natural on the lips.
Of course, like most Mac lipsticks, the pigmentation is amazing and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new nude lippie.
Tips: If you aren't sure about the colour get the assistant to apply it to your lips so you can see it on or try out something like Milani's 'Naked' first which is a dupe at a fraction of the price.
I managed to get my hot little hands on this lippy! The colour is a nice bright light fuchsia pink. I have a thing for MAC lippys and this one is no exception. I love this colour it's nice and bright and is one I wear when I want to stand out. The wear is really good like the normal MAC lippys and I don't find this formula tends to bleed. I can wear this all day and only have to touch it up 2-3 times in the day to keep it looking really good. I goes on nicely and is a pleasure to wear.
I must start by saying I love Lady GaGa. So back in 2010 when I heard that Lady GaGa was headlining the Viva Glam campaign with Cyndi Lauper. I knew I had to have it. So I asked my parents and they got it for me for my birthday. I was super happy. I got both of them of course. I find that the Cyndi Lauper one which is a natural light red is really great for during the day and the Lady Gaga one which is more of a bright pink is better for night time going out. I love them and adore tehm and I would buy more in a heartbeat if they were still going.
