MAC Studio Fix Foundation Fluid SPF 15 Review

I absolutely adore this foundation. It was my first ever MAC foundation and I instantly fell in love with it. Here's why.

It's so easy to apply, it blends out evenly and flawlessly. It's not a quick setting foundation so you do have time to dot it all over your face and buff it into the skin one area at a time.

It's a light to medium coverage which is perfect for your daytime makeup routine (if you prefer a lighter coverage). I do like to use this foundation with my lioele bb cream, these two together are magical. The bb cream evens out my skin tone and preps my face perfectly for a flawless canvas.

It's a long lasting foundation so it's perfect for any occasion. I can go out for dinner, have a wine.... or three, come home late and my makeup still looks as good as what it did when I first walked out the door. It sits perfectly on my skin and it doesn't seperate throughout the night/day.

It doesn't come with a pump (but you can buy them for $10 through the website) unfortunately I didn't and now I regret it because it's actually rather difficult to get the product out. I have to use the end of my mini brushes to scoop the product out which really isn't a biggie but I would prefer to have the foundation pump for it.

I'm so glad I picked this up. It is an absolute favourite of mine and I only paid $27us for it through the website.

Love this foundation! Have finally found my foundation. I was finding that others I had were getting really patchy even with the use of a primer and they weren't cheap brands either. Mac studio fix stays on and gives great coverage. I use this every other day and it's so light on my skin. I also love that it has an spf in it for my fair skin.

I was recently colour matched at MAC and purchased this foundation. I am NW20 which is a cool toned shade. I wanted a full coverage foundation which I use for big days, and nights out! It lasts me a full day on my skin which is combination. I hardly need to use concealer when using this foundation which is a bonus. I use my Real Techniques buffing brush which gives a really good coating, and blends it in well into my skin. The only con I have about this product is the scent, it smells a bit chemically. Apart from that it is a foundation that I will repurchase. It is highly pigmented, and easy to work with. I make sure my skin is well moisturised before hand as this can be a bit drying which I was informed of when I purchased it from MAC. There Is a full range of colours so it was very easy to be matched.

I've used this product on numerous occasions and I can say that it gives great coverage and is long lasting. I was also surprised that the makeup didn't oxidise on my face, and remained the same colour throughout the day. It's quite hard to find foundation which suits my medium brown skin tone, but with this product I had the perfect colour!!. But, I suffer from breakouts and this foundation agitated my skin. On the occasions I used it I happened to breakout quite badly the day after. The formula clogged my pores and ruined my skin. This is very disappointing considering the great coverage it gives. However I won't be reaching for it anytime soon because I don't want to go through another mass breakout.

First off I'd like to say that I LOVE MAC foundations and this one is no exception! I only have to use a small amount of it and it gives me very good and natural coverage without looking 'cakey'. However, if you prefer more coverage, this foundation is build-able and even as you build it up it still looks very smooth and polished on the skin. With other foundations I noticed that if I hug someone then a little bit of it tends to rub off on them, but with this foundation this does not happen at all! I think this product is well worth the price-tag because its such good quality and a little goes a long way with it.

Love this foundation!!! Lasts all day and has really good coverage! Just perfect. I find it really hard to find good foundation but this really does the job. It easily buffs into the skin as well!!

Love this stuff when applied with the correct brushes flawless look non shiny and use a brush for the powder and you will look amazing use the concealer with the brush and it hides any flaws amazing

Being the palest person I know, selecting the right foundation and having the money to spend on it has always been hard. I've had to go for cheaper foundations which didn't seem to have had the coverage my skin needs.

Then this MAC foundation in the lightest shade (NW10) came into my life. It blends perfectly, has a pleasant smell that isn't too strong, and the formula is perfect to use with my favourite buffing brush.

My favourite thing about this foundation is how buildable it is, meaning I can layer it up to a great amount of coverage, not have to worry about looking cakey or touching it up during the day if I set it with powder.

I have normal-day skin with an oily t-zone and find this product sits well everywhere on my face. It doesn't crack on my cheeks or rub off in my t-zone.

I absolutely love Studio Fix Foundation by MAC. I do not wear this on a day to day basis as it is full coverage for me so I like to treat myself to a MAC cake face on special occassions/night outs.

I find it blends beautifully, has a great consistency and isn't drying nor too shiny and dewy and majority of the time I do not use concealer with this unless I am wanting to highlight underneath my eyes etc. I would recommend Studio Fix for anyone transitioning into MAC as it is worth the price, and is not too thick or hard to use compared to the likes of Studio Sculpt by MAC or other foundations.
