Totally in love with Mac Lipsticks. They are super pigmented, they last all day and are great value for money. I tend to buy more Satin / Matte / Amplified lippies because I find that I don't have to reapply as often. I don't even have to wear a liner with these! Huge fan of Mac's lipsticks. It's just such a shame when they discontinue colours.

Tips: If you find a colour that you love - Stock up on it!
I love MAC lipsticks there is a shade to suit every occassion plus way more!! I love how long the colours last on your lips and the fact that you don't need to retouch often is amazing. You definitely get your money's worth when buying MAC lipsticks.
Tips: Apply blot, then reapply for lasting colour.
I purchased Cremesheen Creme Cup a nude pink yesterday based on the reviews. I'm not sure about the shade, but it's outside my normal comfort zone colour of slightly brown nude. It's very moisturising and does last. It is very pricey compared to my favourite Revlon Lip Butter Creme Brulee, but I will persevere because I love the lippy. I think it's more of an evening colour with smokey eyes rather than a day colour. Would buy again. 9/10 but only because of the $40 price tag.
Im a long term Mac user and this lipstick never disappoints! The pigment is strong and i find that it doesn't fade through the day as much as cheaper lipsticks do. The smell is amazing for an extra bonus !
I only recently got on the MAC lipstick wagon and I am completely sold that they are worth the hype. I brought mine direct from MAC US so didn't get stung by the inflated prices here in NZ. I already have another cart full of shades I want to try.
The lipsticks I own are: Ruby Woo- a beautiful red that would suit most. It makes your teeth look ultra white and is super long lasting. It's formula is a matte and is quite dry but it's forgivable because it makes it easy to wear as it doesn't slip or slide.
Girl About Town- this one is awesome! It's a amplified formula. Bright pink, would suit most once again, one swipe gives a full on opaque colour and while being creamy it still is long lasting. This shade is my favourite out of my 4.
Twig- this is my grown up shade, it's a soft brown pink shade. It's a satin finish. This is very long lasting nd glides on perfectly. So easy to wear like all of them!
Creme Cup- this is a nude pink, it's my least favourite because it just doesn't suit me as much sadly (the problem with buying online!) but it's just as good quality. The shade would suit a lighter skin tone. I find it harder to pick out lighter shades for myself then I do dark!
The packaging is very high quality and the smell of these is a beautiful vanilla scent.
I can't wait to add to my collection!
a girl can never have to many mac lipsticks. whilst im personally not a huge fan of their foundations, these are the only lipsticks i buy. I can choose wether i want something that wont budge all day.something sheer and moisturizing on my days off. something bright and fun and crazy when im going out. the possibilities are endless! and when i have 6 empties i take them on back and receive a newbie for FREE!!
Tips: apply a lip balm or primer before applying the matte or prolong wear range to stop flaking
I have to admit I am scared of lipsticks - So I am starting off rather safely and have been on the hunt for that perfect nude that is a 'my lips but better' colour - So I went to the MAC counter and found this little beauty! The amplified formula is beautifully creamy and feels phenomenal on the lips! I wear this buy itself or I pair it with a light pink lip gloss.
Pros - Creamy, good coverage, smells divine, perfect beige nude with a touch of pink. Cons - Not that long lasting but I did not expect it to be.
I live for opportunities to wear a bold lip, and mostly reach for MAC lipsticks. Firstly, every girl should own Ruby Woo. It's the perfect red. I want to go put it on just talking about it! It's very matte and can be drying so your lips do need to be in tip top shape to apply.
The selection of colours is so vast! I have Ruby Woo, Lady Danger, Heroine and Please Me - but a wish list 3x that!
Heroine is so dreamy to apply, swipes on so easily and is the most divine and vibrant shade of purple. Please Me is another matte, it's a pink that goes well with my yellow/warm skin tone and colour is easily built up. Lady Danger, oh Lady Danger, she's bright, fierce and looooves attention.
Tips: Moisturise them lips 10 minutes before applying. Dab, than reapply, helps to maintain colour all day.
MAC is now the only lipstick brand I'll use. Best range of colours, easy to find your favourite shades, glides on smoothly, great staying power. Pricey, but so so so worth it.
I purchased my first MAC lipstick about 8 months ago in the colour "craving"
These lipsticks are quite expensive in NZ compared to the US. They have a wide colour range which varies in finishes from Matte to cream to satin etc.
Craving is very creamy and I have noticed it melts easier compared to my other lipsticks, however it applies very easy and creates a lovely, deep colour.
I don't think the lipstick lasts ages on my lips, but they do have amazing colours. But you could probably find much cheaper dupes.
Update: I now own about six of these, and I must admit I am very impressed. The colour range is beautiful, but I tend to go for shades that I don't think I could find anywhere else in dupe- or cheaper form!
The least favourite I own would have to be Crème De Nude. I am so disappointed to say that, I had heard many raving reviews about how awesome it was for fair skin and how it was the perfect nude! Unfortunately.. This was not the case for me, I found it didn't go opaque enough on my lips and looked streaky. I personally would not purchase this again, as it didn't live up to my expectations!
Morange is an unsual reddy-orange colour which I love! It is hard to wear, or find clothes that will match it. Therefor, I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for an everyday lippy, spend your money on something more suitable! However, it is very creamy, easy to apply and stays on a decent amount of time!
Rebel, Impassioned and Diva are two that I love! They apply creamy, however you must be careful not to make a mistake as it can ruin your foundation! They are beautiful colours, and I would keep repurchasing. I believe they would suit so many different skin tones and hair colours etc!
The packaging is easy to use, just slip off the lid and twist the tube up. Be careful not to twist it too much as it can break! Also, keep them cool as they can melt easily!
Tips: Store in cool area, Don't twist too much up
