Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer

I have this in shade 101 Celestial. I'm not sure about this. The finish was not at all what I was expecting. You get a very high sheen lipstick finish but I prefer a more lip glossy look I think. I found this comes off extremely easily and I feel like I am forever reapplying it which is a major downside. The colour is quite nice and you can see it through the bottom half of the packaging. This lip lacquer has a really weird scent and it majorly puts me off. I find after wearing it for a whole day it makes my tummy feel funny and I feel a bit sick from smelling it and having it on my lips all day. I won't be buying anymore of these and don't think I will use this one very often mainly because of the scent.

I bought this in celestial as I wanted a colour that was wearable during day and night, and this colour definitely fits the brief. This product is quite long lasting and is a nice change from lipstick which never lasts too long on me. I also love the look of the packaging and the doe foot applicator makes application very easy. The only negative thing I have to say about this is that if my lips are a tiny bit dry, it sticks to dry bits like nobody's business.

I love these they are so flattering every color feels and looks easy to wear on all skins. Yes it doesn't last long but it doesn't claim that it does and unlike most pigmented lipstick/glosses it doesn't dry out your lips.

I bought one of these online expecting it to be a nice peachy colour. It was almost beige and I can't imagine the colour being flattering on any skin tone. I also didn't like the sticky consistency and find that it does not last evenly. Quite a disappointment.

I really like lip lacquers as this have the glossiness of a lip gloss, but the vibrant colours of a lipstick. I own three of these, and I really like all of them. Plus they're long lasting. I just wish they had more of a colour range.

I bought this in Celestial when they were first released in New Zealand, after hearing about how much Fleur De Force loves them.

Rimmel have really upped their game - this seems like their take on the YSL Glossy Stains.

Celestial is a bright dark pink, very vivid. The doefoot applicator is large and applies the product very evenly, with a little dent in the middle of the wand as a sort of 'reservoir' for the product so it doesn't apply too dryly or thinly.

The finish is a beautiful, vibrant gloss which lasts for hours, and when the gloss wears off you're left with a beautiful stain. Because they are so glossy, I didn't find them too drying. Once the glossiness wears off, I tend to apply a balm or gloss over the stain to re-hydrate my lips and emphasise the colour.

The only downside is the colour selection. I'd love to see these in some lighter pinks and rosey colours, as there aren't many shades to choose from that flatter my skintone and lip colour. Apart from that, I'll definitely repurchase.

I found these on a sale so I swatched a few on the back of my hands and omg they were sooo pigmented ! The vibrant colors caught my attention so I got a couple and I love them! I think they are a bit like ysl vernis things because you can use this very lightly like a tint or use a light layer like a gloss or build them up like lipsticks !

The pigmentation is crazy for some colors and the packing is chic to carry around :) they are great cheap lippies !

I bought this for a holiday - as a stay at home mum I don't often wear lip gloss and this was a very vibrant bright colour! The colour stays on well and stays bright for quite some time!! I felt a little self conscious as it was so bright and as I said I am not used to wearing any colour on my lips - but I have worn it a couple of times since when I have had the opportunity to go out - definitely not a daytime colour for me but for a night out - yes!!

The colour is very pigmented and vibrant pink and is also glossy which is nice. The applicator is very soft and is easy to apply. It's also long lasting with no need for re-applying which is good.

I have this in Big Bang and it is a lovely true red. The formula is really pigmented and glossy. It is not sticky on the lips at all. The applicator is easy to use and control. Love the shades available and very affordable.
