Revlon Super Lustrous #680 & #006

I have the Revlon Super Lustrous in two very nice colours, #680 and #006. The #680, Temptress, is a lovely creme neutral pink that has just a little pop to it. I use this one quite regularly as an everyday lipstick but I think with a lip pencil it would transition into a really nice night colour too. The #006, Really Red, is a fantastic bold matte red which has become my go-to when I need something a little bit different. Now I know that a red isn't really a 'different' colour but for someone who didn't wear lipstick until around a month ago it is rather outrageous for me! Every time I have worn this lippy I have gotten compliments and a nice serving of self pride. I love the packaging of the lipsticks. The gold band is so iconic and formal yet super sexy and I think the clear top is a great idea (such an easy way to figure out what is what). I find that this lipstick is the perfect lipstick for first time users. I found them super easy to apply, extremely moisturising (no drying of the lips at all!) and the Really Red matte lipstick stays on for hours. The creme doesn't last as long but it still is a nice touch. The price also is a huge draw point for these lipsticks for me. I have and will continue to recommend these lipsticks to everyone and anyone.

Tips: Although these lipsticks are very moisturising make sure that you keep your lips in good shape as after a while I find that my matte lippy can bring out my dry patches. Use an old, soft toothbrush to buff away that old, dead skin and voila! perfect lips!

Fushia Shock

This is my favourite lip colour! I was looking for a lip colour to match my races dress and the revlon lady picked this one out for me. I totally love it and wear it all the time. (it's actually the lip colour in my profile photo) Goes on nicely and lasts awhile before having to reapply. Also was very reasonably priced

Blushing Mauve -- my lips, but better!

I went into Farmers pretty clueless, asking for 'my lips, but better'. I have pale skin and very pale lips, so without a bit of colour I look ill! That said, I don't like super bold lipstick on myself either.

In three seconds flat, the lady at the Revlon counter pulled out this lipstick in 'Blushing Mauve'. It's perfect! Just a touch of lovely colour. Goes on smooth and feels nice and moisturised. Lasts several hours, I usually re-apply a few times a day.

Still my favourite lipstick

I always keep coming back to this lipstick in the shade 'Soft suede' which is my MLBB shade. I love how it doesn't dry the lips and is super wearable.

Revlon lippy gal

Sooo I own quite a few of these baby's. My top three/most used and repurchased colours are:

Berry Haute: My number 1! I have quite naturally dark red lips so this goes a darker shade of purple on me, on my best friend with lighter lips its quite a pinky shade on her.

Raspberry Bite: Makes them dark red lips even darker and a deeper red. Very deep red with slight brown tones.

Pink Cognito: My everyday baby! My lips being super red it sort of just takes a little of the redness away and gives me a nice sparkle and shine - great for work or popping to the supermarket I keep this one on me at all times! (I am wearing this in my picture)

I find all of there lipstick lovely and moisturizing, they stay on fairly well but they do need a reapply a few times a day (which I like as it keeps my lips moisturized) my number 1 pet peeve is lipstick drying my lips out, this does the opposite :)

Reliable Revlon

Revlon lippy has been consistently great since I started wearing lipstick many years ago....at present I have 5 shades that I love - Soft suede, Pink Cognito, Goldpearl Plum, Plumalicious and Berry Haute!!

Th lipstick comes in a sleek elegant black and gold tube and is well designed. I love the fact that they are strong and easy to use. The lipstick itself is the perfect consistency either delivering shine or matte shades with good pigmentation.

I love that Revlon has such a great range of shades too. They are always bringing out new shades to follow fashion trends.

They have good staying power but I do find myself touching up after a few hours. My lips don't get dried out with these either as they are very moisturising. I would totally recommend these iconic lippies to everyone, they are affordable and have fun shades that cater to every woman.

Tips: Take advantage of the 2 for 1 deals that come up and stock up on some funky shades!! :-)

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Review

I love the Revlon lipstick ranges as there are usually so many colour options to choose from! I have two different lipsticks from the Super Lustrous range - #413 (Twinkled Pink) and #457 (Wild Orchid), both of which have a "Pearl" finish. Twinkled Pink is a peachy-nude shade, and Wild Orchid is a bright fuschia shade - both these colours are so beautiful and have a nice pearly sheen to it, given that these are the "Pearl" finish.

The lipstick is easy to apply and glides on nicely, and I also find that they can be quite pigmented (depending on what colour and finish you have - e.g. I find my Wild Orchid one is more pigmented that Twinkled Pink, because Wild Orchid is a darker shade). I like how it doesn't dry out my lips, and they stay on quite well but reapplications during the day are needed. The lipstick is also easy to remove at the end of the day, without staining your lips. Next time I'd love to try some of their lipsticks in other finishes, like "Matte" or "Creme". Revlon lipsticks are something that everyone should at least try once, if not more!

Revlon Cheap Goodie

I have lip sticks 622 Daring Pink and 435 Love That Pink. I love this fabulous product. It keeps your lips feeling moisturised all day and not dried out like some other lipsticks I have used. Nor do they smudge around the mouth like other lips sticks, making your make up look messy.

I do find you need to retouch up after drinking and eating, but I do not mind because they are so cheap. I found one of them at a chemist for $20.00 and the other at a really cheap outlet shop that is on Queen Street for $8.00! And I have had them both about 4-5 months now and have used them every day pretty much and I still have a lot left. I highly recommend people to try this!

Tips: This product won't last all day, if you have eaten or had something to drink, you might need to do a touch up

Great colour, not long lasting.

I have the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in the Creme shade Va Va Violet. The first thing I noticed after using this colour for the first time is that it rubs off very easily and I constantly had to reapply it during the day, this was very noticeable against my pale skin and lips. I went for a dark purple shade after seeing Lorde in a similar colour but not being able to afford MAC at the time. It says the RRP is $12.99 but I paid $24.50. Not sure if it was the store or the brand with that price though. Overall I think the colour and shade are worth it in the end.

Tips: Do not apply to cracked lips because the colour with rub off faster. Do not apply to over-moistened lips. I recommend putting on chap stick about an hour before applying to dry lips.

Pretty

I have this in a couple of colours as they are all really pretty. For me it is moisturising and feels nice on the lip, but doesnt seem to be very long wearing.
