I won one in a competition and I was very surprised at its quality.
It smelled nice and has a silky, smooth texture.
It feels like a lip balm with the colour and pigmentation of a lipstick. It doesn't dehydrate my lips and make them feel dry.
The colour is bright and shiny. I am a huge fan of the pink colours but would like to try a red.
I would definitely buy these again. They last for a very long time and fit very nicely in my handbag for when I need a quick colour application.
It's so cute its hard not to want one! Love the style it comes in and the colours are beautiful, it also has a hint of mint as you apply it! I have the peach shade, pink shade, red shade and purple! Going for the collection
looks great! soft of the lips not too drying during the day, but best to top up to keep the moisturising effect. I found the longer it is on the better it gets as that is part of the "stain". I think its a perfect lip product for those who want a lip colour but less hassle.
Tips: Apply again after a minuets to get better colour. Straight from the bullet.
I have this in Honey which is the nude colour and also in smitten which is a dark fuschia.
I really like the colour on both. I was particularly impressed with how long the balmy feeling lasted on my lips. If i put this on in the morning, its still shiny a couple of hours later.
I find the lip stain part to be pretty good although with Smitten, once the gloss wears off , I find the colour to be very very bright, almost like a neon bright pink. I wish it stayed the darker rich colour when first applied. Long lasting lipsticks are generally not that long lasting on me, and find that with seduce especially because the colour was so bright, after about 4-5 hours, the inside of my lip there is no colour. Im guessing this is due to moisture, but not a great look! Just looks like bad / thick lip liner job haha.
On the Honey colour though, this is not an issue as it wears off a bit more evenly. Although the colour for this one also changes to a brigther corally colour once the gloss comes off. Overall a good product!
Tips: Apply 1 layer, let it set and reapply - I find this makes it last that little bit longer. Otherwise if you reapply half way through the day, its also enough to last the rest of the work day.
I recently purchased the shade 404 Rendevous when I was in Melbourne and I adore it! It lasts a fair amount of time (not super long but that's ok) it's easy to use, the colour is lovely and the taste is nice and minty. The packaging is cute but I am paranoid about the lid coming off in my bag and the stick being ruined. I think I will invest in some more but will buy online as Revlon is so expensive in store in NZ!
This is my new HG lip product. I have 015 Cherish which is a very bright pink, and I will be buying more! Usually with lipstick it comes off with drinks and dries my lips so I can only wear it every other day. I can wear this every day! It's moisturising and stays on while drinking my tea. It smells minty, but I like that so people will think my breath smells great! Haha.
In the cold I get really dry, sore lips so this was exactly what I needed to give my lips long lasting colour, fullness and gloss! I would definitely purchase more!
This is a great all day lip product. I purchased this in the shade 'Darling' which is a lilac to deeper purple. The colour and coverage is buildable which is great as they can give a sheer, natural colour or the deeper colour of a lipstick. They are moisturizing and don't dry the lips. They are longlasting and when they do wear off, they simply fade to a more natural colour rather than flaking or going patchy. I generally prefer matte lipsticks that give a defined line and bold colour but I can imagine the Revlon Lip Stains would be perfect for many people.
Tips: Apply more of the product for a deeper colour.
Wow, i love the smell of these lip stains and they glide on so easily an they do have really good colour payoff, they also make your lips tingle a little bit and that just does it for me! i highly highly recommend but really look into getting the perfect colour as i had trouble finding one i really liked on me!
I absoloutley love this stuff, It does exactly what it says it does and also keeps my lips feeling nourished and lasts for a while compared to half of the lip stick I use, Would DEFENTLY recommend this.
