Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick Review

The first time I reviewed these lippies, I was pretty passionate and adoring of them because I was new to the beauty scene, probably 13, and they were the first lipsticks I'd ever had. Now, reflecting back... I used a lip balm first, although the lipsticks are creamy, the lipstick feels uncomfortable on its own and caused my lips to start flaking. These lipsticks are very bright and bold in colour, and there are quite a few shades in this range to choose from. I wouldn't like to wear these again however, the colours are plasticky looking and 'garish'. When I see old photos of me wearing it, it doesn't look to me. Overall these were a fun, cheap introduction to lipsticks :)

I have these in almost every colour. Don't judge :) I love them. For the price and for a drug-store lipstick they are super creamy and glide on your lips with no sweat. I love the colours they have, and I love the nude line they recently came out with. For me personally there is nothing bad about this lipstick. The packaging is so girly and cute but very simple which I love about make up products. The price is very affordable and the lipstick lasts along time. I love this range and can't rave about it enough. From it's cute packaging to it being highly pigmented and super creamy it's awesome! I love it!

I have the shade In Style Sienna and I love it. Its the perfect red brown tone. Easy to apply, pigmented bold colour. Creamy formula, doesn't dry out your lips. Don't feel like I need some chapstick after a day of wearing this. Doesn't smudge easily, yay, no red marks on the face!

Does fade slightly, but easily fixed with some re-application, and does have a slight shimmery glitter thing going on. Not a big fan, I usually use with my mattifying powder.

I have Fuchsia Flash. It is an amazing hot pink! I found it was very opaque, creamy and easy to apply. Plus it was a good price for an amazing lippy!

I have one of these lipsticks in a baby pinky colour, and the colour pigmentation is amazing, its not to bright or to light its the right colour, smooth application (easy to apply) The product itself is creamy, it lasts for more then a few hours the packaging is cute, (my favourite colour).

I love these lipsticks! They are honestly do pigmented and creamy for a good price! Only have to apply once for opaque colour :) I can go out for the night and it stays on without me having to apply it 10 times especially when I'm eating. Such gorgeous colours that everyone will love! Definitley building up a collection of them :) love love love!

I had always wanted a red lipstick but had never gotten around to getting any. So as a last minute dash, on my way to a night out i knew red lippy would be the perfect accessory so i stopped in at thewarehouse to get some. As i said i had never owned red lipstick before let alone used it so i had no idea what i was looking for. I saw the maybelline range and thought that it was my best bet because it's a well established brand. I got the colour fatal red 530 without having testers to swatch and was plesantly surprised upon opening the packet. The lipstick comes in a plastic silver tube and red plastic casing and smells and looks amazing. I have olive skin so the warm red works well with my colour and the creamy buttery texture is a real treat for my lips and doesnt dry them out. The only downside to this lippy is it doesnt last long, i had to keep re-applying and as the drinks were flowing this was happening less and less as the night went on. It's a shame the colour doesnt last long because it is a beautiful color and has a good texture, great for a lipstick beginner like myself.

My fave drugstore lipsticks! I own a whole bunch of these and I love most of them. Some I find a quite sheer (the lighter pinks) but others are very pigmented. The colour pigmentation is good and they are surprisingly very moisturizing. My lips get dry very easily and these do not dry them out. I do find however that the colour doesn't last as long as I would like it too, but nothing a little reapplying won't fix. They are definitely worth it.

I love this lipstick , i have a a purple/pink shade , can't remember the name , but i highly recommend these lipsticks , so creamy , don't make your lips feel dry , amazing pigment and feel so nice on and last very well! i am slowly collecting all these lipsticks x

These perfumes smell amazing, I have a few of the plum like colours. I find them quite pigmented, more then most lipsticks, but seem to be non drying and still a creamy formula. They come in many colours, which is always great, different colour for different day. However I find after eating or drinking they need to be refreshed, which is like most lipsticks, but still gets a little annoying.
