Maybelline Color Whispers Review

I bought one of these recently from farmers, a pale pink shade. It is definitely not a long lasting lipstick, it comes off very easily so if you ate or drunk anything it would come off straight away.

As some other reviewers have said, it is quite a creamy consistency and would be good if you have dry lips.

Colours are pretty but long staying lipsticks are so popular at the moment so I don't think this range will last very long.

I have 4 different shades, "oh la lilac", "lust for blush" "who wore it reder", and "mad for magenta". It says there is supposed to be pure pigment but unfortunatly the color pigment in all 4 that I have is next to none, the who wore it reder has to be the most pigmented one but is still barely next to anything. I like how they go on, theyre smooth and creamy just like a lip balm and when I just want a hit of color but more moisture I will grab these. It was really disappointing in these as they advertise some really nice colours throughout the range but then once buying them the colour pay off is not worth the price, I was lucky as I picked all mine up really cheap or given to me but I would not pay full price for them.

So overall if you are looking for a lipbalm type of lippy with very little color pay off then these are for you as they do go on nicely and smooth but the color in them is very minimal, sometimes personally I do like that so I will continue to use them but would very pay the price that they are.

I definitely wouldn't consider these lipsticks pigmented. They are very sheer and creamy and do not stay on the lips for a long time at all.

My favourite colour is 'lust for blush' it is a really nice 'my lips but better' colour and is one of those lippies that is great to throw on when you are wanting a minimal makeup look with just a hint of glossy colour.

These do feel really nice and moisturising on, but you do have to reapply quite regularly as the colour doesn't stay or leave any sort of stain on the lips.

I quite liked this lipstick, I bought it randomly on sale. It was actually moisturising and colour came out really nice.

I have a pink one of these Maybelline Colour Whispers and it does exactly that - provides a whisper of colour.

These are really nice and moisturizing, with a light tint that polishes your look a bit more than just wearing lip balm. They colour isn't really buildable and is definitely sheer, so don't expect any opaqueness! However if you do want something sheer and moisturizing, this is for you. Perfect for lighter and more natural makeup days, or when you want a natural lip paired with a heavier eye.

If you are looking for a lightly pink tinted lipgloss that is in disguise as a lipstick... Than look no further. I brought my petal rebel lipstick online for about $10 and was really looking forward to trying it out!

I actually really liked the packaging it came in and was super excited because of it, the packaging almost had a urban street kind of feel.

The lipstick is really easy to work with and is nice and soft, but it really gives no colour whatsoever... Maybe a slight pink tint to your lips but thats about it really..

I found that the lipstick lasted about 15 minutes then really dried my lips out so I had to keep re-applying it.. Nothing against it though it did feel nice and natural on my lips!

I would use this lippy again but more as a lipgloss I feel! I would try another shade to see if it was different?

I found the product consitency was nice, but did not like how the colour did not show up on my skin, rahter it was like a lipbalm. I will be tyring other shades in future, and i would recomend this.

I like how this feels on my lips , smooth application and lovely packaging. But unfortunately not long lasting at all. Does not last for more than an hour and needs a generous application for any colour to show. Not one of the better products by Maybelline , I'm afraid !

I do love lippes and I am willing to give any type a go. I have had these for a number of years now. I think they may have discontinued some colours now.

This Maybelline comes in a very nice sliver tube with a coloured outer. You can pick them up for around $20.00 although they are usually on special somewhere.

I find these dont give you an absoulte full coverage, you might even consider them more of a tint. You can build the colour, although I find it dosent last too long on your lips.

The formula is smooth and has a nice fragrance to it. It goes on evenly and smoothy.

I won this product free from Maybelline whichI am grateful for. To start with the packaging is greatly, so bright and fun looking. I usually use chubby sticks as a lip balm/lipstick and love those so this was up against high standards. Although I got to choose my colour I wasn't impressed when I put it on. I had chosen a plum sort of colour and instead when putting it on came out more pink. Yes it is moisturising and feels quite good going on. It doesn't last, even after having a couple sips of a drink its gone.. the fragrance is really nice though so putting it on all the time isn't too much of a hassle. Im glad I got to try it but definitely isn't my go to..
