Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick - Couture

I bought the 090 private viewing tone and I love it. I use it with clear gloss on top combined with my smokey eyeshadow.

I was given this lipstick as a gift, and I was so excited to try it because I thought that it was a gorgeous colour! It was well pigmented, and such a nice texture! I got this in the 095 Finale shade. When you put it on your lips, it just glides so smoothly. I love it!

Only downside is that this lipstick does not last, and when I had it on for about 3 hours, it started to crackle and peel and it looked real nasty. It is to be expected with a matte(ish) lipstick like this, however, I just was so gutted it only lasted (looking nice) for about 20 minutes!

I would definitely recommend this lipstick if you are not going out or anything, as it's a lovely colour and great texture (to start with). Just DO NOT wear it out.

I recently bought the 050 Couture colour and I really like it.The colour does stay on all day, but does fade a bit and also makes my lips feel dry after a couple of hours. So I do feel the need to use a balm or gloss over top occasionally to put some moisture back into my lips. I really like the colour, so I don't mind having to do that, but that's why it only gets a 3 from me.

I recently purchased 3 of these lipsticks. Two of them are absolutely amazing, very long lasting and conditioning. However one (which I have now got rid of) just settled in the creases of my lips and just generally looked nasty, it's a pity as the other two are so good albeit a little bit sticky for my liking.

This lipstick was a beautiful colour but I felt like the colour pay off was poor and lasted all of 5 minutes. It is a suede like texture however just felt it didn't stay on at all

I was given two shades of this lipsticks. Although I like the packaging which is cute and convenient for travelling, I can hardly say I am satisfied with the quality. The shades are great but neither of them lasted very long. I mean they often say long-lasting lipsticks can be poisonous but it should at least stay for half an hour or so. This lipstick can hardly stay for 15 minutes, sadly. And the lid of the lipstick can be quite easy to get cracked too. So all in all, I don't think I would use this again

I was gifted this lipstick, I really like how they designed the shell, it looks dainty and sexy! The color looked so gorgeous, I couldn't wait to put this on my lips!! Applying this to my lips felt so silky, it glided on like red velvet cake, and the texture felt amazing! The color was stunning, very intense and pigmented, the downside is when I wore it for more than 20 minutes it would wear off, within 2 hours its nearly all gone which was so sad for me! This color would be great for photo shoots or quick selfies, sad because I love the color but wont be wearing it when I go out.

This is my go to for dance competition lipstick! I found it stayed on the entire night of dancing and i didn't need to reapply at all. I found it went on easy and didn't dry my lips out by the end of the night. For my use of it, its perfect!

I got one of these in a gift set and I actually like it. Surprisingly turning matte after going on like a lip balm. It stays on, but it does leave my lips quite dry/patchy after while and color doesn't stay on all day. Other than that I like it, matte lippies are my fave <3

This lipstick definitely gives moisture it spreads on with ease feels like lip balm to start with. I found as it dries it makes you lips dry also and I'm the type that cannot stand having dry lips, so I would reapply just for the moisture. I expected the color to last longer than it did, it was a beautiful shade and complimented my make up well. As for being food proof, when I ate or drank I would go to the mirror to find it has completely faded and I have minimal product still on my lips. I will use this again for a bit of color and moisture during the day however I would not recommend this for a night out where your wanting your lippy to last all night.If you wanted to treat this product like a lip balm where you normally re-apply constantly through the day then this product would be perfect as you get a pop of color also!. However if you're after a long lasting lippy thats food proof I would stick to regular lipsticks.
