I love these pencils, such an innovation in lipstick! I like the idea of "drawing in" some lippy, no more messy edges, and no need for a lip brush (if you use one). They look awesome by themselves (have been asked several times what my awesome lipstick was when wearing the In The Coral shade) or with lip gloss on top. These are really highly pigmented, they surprised me with the amount of colour they put on your lips.

Tips: If your lips are a little dry velvet lippy can highlight this, so on days where mine are a little dry I put this lip colour on and then a little clear liquid lip gloss on top for a glossy colour so this works as velvet colour but also glossy.
I own four different colours of these Maybelline Lip Pencils - Nude Perfection, Minimalist, Love Me Pink. and Berry Much. My favourite thing about this product is definitely the price. They are super cheap and you can usually get them even cheaper when Farmers is having a sale.
Overall the formula is creamy and they are very pigmented, except for the Minimalist shade. This shade is a shimmery light pink colour. I found that this colour felt more waxy and was harder to apply. The pigmentation wasn't great either, and I had to swipe it multiple times to get any pay off. I wouldn't repurchase this shade.
However the other three colours that I've tried are excellent. They all have the same sweet scent which reminds me of raspberries. They generally last quite well and when they do fade it does so evenly.
I'm not particularly fond of any makeup product that comes in a pencil form because I hate having to sharpen them. However for the price of these I'm happy to compromise.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking to try a range of different lip colours without wanting to spend a lot of money.
I have 4 of these at home, and they are some of my favorites. I got them for buy one get one free so, 3 for 20 dollars which was a great deal. They go on nicely and make your lips feel quite smooth. On the downside they wear off quite quickly so you have to reapply often. They also come in pencil form so can be a pain to keep sharpening them as you lose some of the product. Over all I would recommend them, but I have had alot better lipsticks.
I love love love these! I have three shades and want the rest!
The formula is nice and creamy and feels comfortable on. It is easy to apply and not streaky at all. The colours are SUPER pigmented and last really well too! I wear them happily with no liner.
I love the 'chubby pencil' style, I find them great space savers in my make-up bag!
Because the price was so awesome on these I branched out and purchased shades I wouldn't have usually. I have Red Essential - a rich red, Fuchsia Desire - A bright pink/fuchsia and In With Coral - a bright coral. I love them all and am now a bright lipstick convert, I cannot get enough!
I really can't recommend trying these highly enough!
I don't own too many Maybelline products but I took a chance with these Lip Pencils, and I am happy I did. These particular lip pencils are quite similar in looks as others in the market, and they do look nice. you can easily see the colour as it is on the end of the pencil. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I dont really enjoy matte lips products as I find them quite drying, so with that in mind I did a lip scrub first then applied a lip balm. I found applying this was easy as the formula is lovely and creamy and it went on smoothly and evenly. I found the colour was well pigmented and stayed as long, if not longer than my usual lippy which pleased me,as there are times at work I get busy and dont always get time to check myself. I bought Fab orange for my power days and I use Nude perfect for my low key days. These are something that I would be happy to buy again and try different colours.
I have a couple of these lip products and I must say that they are not the best lipsticks I have used.. Yes they are cute and little but too me they weren't anything 'WOW' yea I'd still use it if they were just there but I don't find myself reaching out for this or putting it in my handbag.. They kinda just stay at the back of all my lipsticks.. I do like the formula but I feel like the colours aren't anything different or unique.. Also I don't like that it needs to be sharpened! :)
These lip pencils are my favourite Maybelline product EVER. They are so smooth to apply, yet so matte and pigmented. They're also super long-wearing - I was able to wear Red Essential through an 8 hour day with no touch ups at all. The three colours I have are Red Essential, Light It Up, and Nude Perfection. I love how they are such a great product at such a low price point.
This here is the first lip pencil I have ever used so I was quite excited to give it ago , didn't realy know what to expect for the $10 price tag ( I got it on special at the warehouse. . Score) . I was not disappointed at all, the pencil glided on realy nicely and didn't smudge at all and its great that you can decide how intense you want the colour to be. Either apply a little for a sutle colour or reapply a few times for more drama.
I also love how at the end of the day when it comes to removing your make up this is super easy to remove, I find some lip sticks seam to stain my skin so at the moment I love my lip pencil a lot more because of this.
I would definatly go out and purchase more , Infact I think I will next time I'm in town
I own five of these bad boys now. The nude colours are my favourite by far. So pigmented and nice colours to wear for everyday and so reasonably priced! they don't smudge and I always get asked what I'm wearing when I have them on. My favourite colours are nude perfection and minimalist.
I bought one of these (in the nude shade) about two months ago, and Im headed back to Farmers to re-purchase another one tomorrow as Ive almost made my way through it!! I cannot recommend these enough, they have a brilliant colour pay-off, are creamy and for me personally the nude shade is my IDEAL nude. And for the price they are most definitely worth it. The one and only complaint I would have is that it isnt big enough! They are quite small but at the same time they are quite cheap so I suppose its not a big deal. I wear this pencil on the daily, its easy to apply and is quite long wearing (I usually touch it up around mid afternoon at work just so it stays looking fresh). Overall one of my holy grail items and one that I will be repurchasing for a while to come :) Cant wait to try some of the other shades this time.
