I am a huge Revlon fan, and buy quite a lot of their products, BUT this product is a fail for me. This definitely doesnt do what the ad says, and the colours are a bit deceiving. I bought two shades, 006 In the money and 007 Feed the flame. The colours look amazing in the packaging, and it goes on very nicely. It has a tendency to dry out a bit and the worst thing is that when it fades, it goes pink instead of staying the shade of the initial colour. It is very annoying especially when it starts out a beautiful orange red, which is what i was looking for. I didnt want a pink undertone, i wanted the orangey red. The browny shade did the same thing, turned pinky and there wasnt much of staying power at all. So from my end, i wouldnt waste my money on buying these lipsticks again, i will give them to a friend and will carry on looking for something that works for me.

Tips: Test on your hand first, wipe it off and see what the undertone is, in case you fussy like me.
There is a great range of colours and many are pretty awesome. It has a clear plastic top so you can see the colour without taking the lid off. The lid stays on nice and tight and doesn't come off in your bag. While it goes on nicely and smoothly I find it dries out a bit too much for my liking. I wont buy another one which is a shame because he colour range is great.
I think the packaging looks amazing and is really easy to use. I love how it makes the clicking sound as you wind it and you never have to worry about the lid taking a chunk of the lipstick with it. I bought the Finale and Cruise Collection shades and I have tried Cruise Collection first. The colour is absolutely beautiful and it does stay on for a long time- from morning until night (and almost impossible to remove even with micellar water and eye/lip makeup remover). However, I ended up with a ring around my lips after work as all the colour inside must have come off as I talked and ate and drank. That means I need to either use lip liner on the inside of my lip or use gloss there to make fade out less obvious. I really wanted to like this product, this was my first longwear lipstick and I was amazed with how comfortable it felt but as I was looking for something low maintenance and easy to take care of, this one seems to be causing me more hassle than my usual lippies.
Tips: Buff your lips before applying to ensure smooth even application. Do NOT use lip balm underneath (no matter how tempted) because the colour will slide right off and transfer everywhere.
I bought the shade 'Runway' after seeing it on a pharmacy assistant whilst picking up my prescriptions last year. She had the most beautiful nude pinky peach lip shade on and as I am drawn to matte lipsticks I just had to ask what shade it was.
In the tube this looks a very 90s bronzey terracotta peach shade, something I would have worn in 1998 called 'fleshtone' or 'Nude' in the old colorstay line.
When applied though this becomes a beautiful soft rose gold tone with pinky flesh undertones. It soon wears down too a matte finish and loses the satin finish it has on application. It feels neither drying, nor rubbery like some long wear products are prone to, but it does feel like it needs a topcoat. I tried applying a lipbalm over the top but like any long wear lipstick this only breaks it down and makes it wear off patchy and from the inside leaving a ring around my mouth.
A shame really, a lovely shade, a lovely matte look but just too drying to wear on it's own.
Okay so I was super excited to try these because the packaging was super pretty and appealing but i was rather disappointed because I expected them to be matte and long lasting like the title implied. But these are super creamy and moisturising and they don't really last all that well. They have an amazing colour selection and the packaging allows you to see what colour the lipstick is just by looking at the outside of it, which I think is super handy for those of us that have way too many lipsticks ;) They are super pigmented too, to the point where I feel like after it comes off my lips, they are still stained from the colour. I feel like this range of lipsticks would be great for someone starting off with makeup, or someone with super dry lips, that wants some moisture and colour
Not much to say really, lovely colours, and starts off nice and creamy but eventually started to make my lips dry and uncomfortable, and the colour did not last as long as expected. Still a nice lipstick, but not for all day.
A nice thick creamy lipstick, you can feel the moisturiser content in it as soon as you put it on.
It's a nice lipstick, but I had to re-apply quite a bit and that doesn't really work for me.
This is my first disappointing review for Revlon - I think their range is usually so good. My only real disappointment is that this doesn't live up to the colourstay name.
Also, the lid comes off easily in my bag so you can't just throw it in your handbag like others.
These awesom lippies feel like theyre not only a lipstick but also a lipbalm with the amount of moisture in them. Which is a good thing to me because i find a lot of lipsticks dry my lips out. They stajn your lips too (in a good way) so you dont have to worry about re-applying.
A good contender for a medium-wear lipstick. It doesn't have the all day staying power it claims, but I certainly get a lot longer out of it than I do most of my other lipsticks; for a full day of wear I generally only need 2-3 re-applications.
There's a good range available and the colour payoff is nice and bright without needing any layering. They're also easy to apply, unlike the liquids you usually need to use to get any kind of durability! My favourite thing about these lipsticks, though, is how comfortable they are to wear - I find that most lipsticks that last more than just an hour or two on me get dry and flaky before they start to wear off, which I don't get with the Ultimate Suede range at all.
I bought two of these when they were first released, and ended up returning them both to Farmers for a refund.
They look lovely swatched and when first applied, but they dry up terribly on the lips and "pill" - i,e, ball up and rub off in dry little bits.
I've never been much of a fan of the type of long-last lipsticks that dry down and don't budge, but these were the worst I've ever tried.
