Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trios

For me I think these are the BEST value for money drugstore eye-shadows currently on the market!

I have Knock on wood, silent treatment and sweet as candy trio palettes.

If your on a budget (and even if your not) these are great staple go to eye shadows, which have never let me down. The color payoff with all of the shades (in every palette I own) is just fantastic. The texture of these is also lovely being buttery and easy to blend. You can get so many looks from these palettes and they contain great complimentary shades. I find the wear time of these shadows is generally great too and with a primer they will not fail you.

The packaging isn't anything amazing but that's to be expected with a low end palette and to be honest I'd rather amazing shadows than a pretty box which gives poor quality results. The packaging is functional and sturdy and closes tightly (even though it looks cheap, I would still be confident to travel with any of these, as the clasp is secure and the plastic thick and strong).

The saying you get what you pay for really does not apply with these. I think everyone should at least try these out once! Highly recommended and a product I will definitely be repurchasing!

I have the shades "Sweet as Candy" and "I'm Feeling Retro". The Wet n Wild eyeshadow trios are very affordable, they cost USD$3.99 from beautyjoint. The eyeshadows are quite buttery, easy to apply and blend beautifully! These eyeshadow trios have a simple packaging and it is easy to carry around in your purse.

"Sweet as Candy" appears more shimmery on my skin and "I'm Feeling Retro" is quite pigmented.

I seriously think these are some of the best eyeshadows out there. The are extremely pigmented, buttery smooth and blend really well. I have a lot of WnW eyeshadows - 8 pans, trios and the formulation is the same across the board (I have heard their newer releases aren't as good though). My favourites are actually the matte shadows, it's so hard to find good quality mattes in the drugstore but these are really quite outstanding. They have a great shade range and are totally affordable! Such a bargain.

I am over the moon with these trios like OMG we can stop the review now go out and buy some!!! For the price you pay you get some amazing shadows! The quality is extremely good. However the only thing I will say is that for the shades I own there aren't any matte colours meaning if you don't like shimmery shadows this may not work for you also this makes it hard to do a full eye as there isn't many blending colours.

I have two of these palettes in Walking on eggshells and Sweet as candy both are very similar except of the eyelid colour where sweet as candy has a more pink shade - (shimmery beige, shimmery medium brown, shimmery pinkish colour) obviously each palette has slight colour differences I would say Walking on eggshells is warmer.

Formulation: The palettes I have all have shimmery/satin shades. Which glide on smoothly and blend quite easily.

Pigmentation: There is really high pigmentation on these shadows. They are SO pigmented one swipe of the finger gives so much colour payoff and same when using brushes.

Lasting power: These last pretty long on my eyes without a primer however for me they do crease. But I will say a lot of shadows crease on me. With a base these shadows are dreamy and last awhile longer. I would say they can last all day :D

Fallout: I haven't had any trouble with fallout from these shadows

Overall I am in love with these shadows and I want them all even the colourful ones and I don't even like colourful shadows haha

I have walking on eggshells and its great! Super pigmented and natural! Its so small and sleek so perfect when you're going away. The shades a blendable and I would defiantly get some more. My only problem is there is no matt in the trio to break up the shimmer.

I have Walking On Eggshells and it is fantastic! It is very affordable and they colours are beautiful. They are all shimmery shade so I wouldn't use only this trio on my eyes, but they are a great addition to my collection. The highlight shade in particular is gorgeous!

I have four different colours of these trios, my favourite being 'sweet as candy' and 'silent treatment'. These were really good for me when i first started out experimenting with eyeshadows as it kinda helped you know where to place what shadow. They blend really well and are really pigmented!

"I'm Getting Sunburnt" has become an every day necessity for me! The colors are excellently pigmented and they blend as easy as water colors within and outside of its pallet and brand. The great bargain prices always have me buzzing around the wet n wild section. Perfect for beginners and intermediate cosmetic enthusiasts!

Walking on eggshells,if you want a Mac dupe this palette is it,the bottom shade is a perfect highlight ,exactly the same as Mac schroom,then the middle shimmer pink shade is a dupe for naked lunch by Mac and the last one is a dupe for espresso by Mac,I use this palette for nights out ,as the quality is so good ,it is better than any high class eye shadow and so affordable,the eyeshodows blend in so good,I really can not fault the wet and wild brand

I have the trio 'walking on eggshells'. This is such a beautiful neutral trio, with engravings on it to tell you where to apply the eyeshadows, but I don't necessarily follow those steps, I just play around trying to create looks that work for me and my complexion. The packaging is very sleek and cute, very easy to travel with. The pigmentation and staying power is wonderful. And very cheap too. A great buy.
