Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner Review

i have both this gel eyeliner and the Mac fluid liner in black track and I find they're formulation and application very similar, only difference would be price in my opinion! Love the maybelline one for a thick wing liner and it can also be used as a brow gel if you have dark eyebrows like mine ;)

This eyeliner was very easy to use but dried up so fast! the brush was perfect for the gel but once it had been used, it had to be cleaned in hot water to remove all the excess eyeliner. Glided on easily but i much prefer a liquid.

It's a really good gel eyeliner. It stays in place all day, doesn't move, doesn't smudge, doesn't run. I didn't like the brush that came with it so I'd DEFINITELY recommend using a different one, whatever works for you. I like very thick eyeliner and I like it winged out and it works really well for that. Also no transferring into the crease which is always a good thing. Pretty easy to use I suppose, I think it's the brush that made it a little difficult.

I have this in black, the colour is great, highly pigmented and is easy to smooth on. I found that after a few hours it started to flake in places on me but that was after hours of use. I made the mistake of not cleaning the brush after i used it so ended up chucking it, as I preferred a different one anyway. This drys pretty hard so needs a good clean after each use. It didnt smudge ether, which was a bonus. The packaging is nice, so is the product, although its pretty tiny, it does last a very long time. I paid $8 online :)

I have this eyeliner in an aubergine or eggplant colour (purply) - the colour is fantastic and really suits me as I have green eyes :) It comes with a shaped brush which makes it really simple to put on. I really like the consistency of this liner, it's really thick and goes on easily so I just apply a little to the brush for daytime use and put on as a normal liner. At night you can apply more and vamp it up a little! The things I love the most about it is It lasts all day, doesn't smudge and doesn't annoy my eyes. The packaging I really like as it is glass for a start (not plastic), but it is small and easy to throw into your handbag and as the lid twists and clicks on, no chance of it coming off.

It is great value for money as it will last for ages, you don't need to use much. I would recommend this product to anyone for value for money, quality and ease of use, love it although probably not a product for everyone due to having to get the brush and pot out everytime. I would buy this again and would like to try a different colour

Really like how it looks on the eyes but the fact that the brush isn't on the lid really bothers me. I guess it is pretty hygienic though since you can clean the brush but it's also very hard for storage. This stuff is extremely hard to wash off and you have to use it with a light hand or it will create very fat lines!!

This gel liner is definitely smudge-proof and waterproof. I haven't worn this product for 24 hours, but this definitely lasted 12 hours for me. I have cried and got rained on wearing this and the liner did not budge. If you rub your eyes in the said situation, obviously the product will move but if you carefully dab there's no problem at all. Very pigmented and creamy, not difficult to apply at all. The brush it comes with is not very useful, so I suggest using an angled eyeliner brush instead.

I really love this eyeliner , it's so easy to use very smooth perfect for doing wing or cat eye , I would buy it again for sure

I love this eyeliner. It's easy to use and it is also really easy to draw a nice line on ur eyelids. It lasts long.
