Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner Review

I do really like this gel eyeliner, it is very easy to put on and if done right look perfect. I prefer to use liquid eyeliner though.

Love this gel eye liner, easy to use and apply, only thing I would have to fault is it isn't a matte black, it would be even more perfect if it was!! It's not much of a issue as you re apply a bit more on top or use a pencil eyeliner to darken it :-) would recommend to everyone

this is my go to gel eye liner. it goes on smoothly, and has a nice matte finish which i love. it doesn't smudge and stays pigmented all day.

This is probably my favourite gel eyeliner product I have tried. It has the consistency which is easy to apply- not too thin but also stays on all day without smudging; the stay power is great! Also if you make a mistake it is very easy to wipe off and retry! The black is a true black- great for a sultry cat eye! And for once, the brush it comes with is totally useable- usually a separate brush is necessary but this one is relatively good quality and does the job well- however it can be easier to use a longer angle brush! Price is good as well!

This eyeliner is so easy to apply and the little brush it comes with is great too as it just glides on top of the eye so smoothly. Though, i had issues with the lasting power of it as quite often during the day it would either smudge onto my eyelid or wear off in the inner corner! Great for an occasion but not for a full day of activities!

This is the best eyeliner i've used yet! It is easy to apply, isnt messy, glides on smooth and lasts well without fading before you even get out the door. It comes with a little brush which i lost pretty quick, would have been easier if it was bigger but easy enough to find a replacement.

My eyes tend to get a little oily and the crease gathers product all the time, so I rarely use eye makeup other than mascara (though I love it so!). I read great reports of Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner, so sought it out at Farmers. I don't usually like to buy waterproof eye makeup as I don't like the extra work it takes to remove, so I bought the regular version. The packaging is really cute in a little glass pot, it seems precious. The tiny brush is black and easily misplaced I found, and the brush cover is a little fiddly - I prefer to keep the brush cover though to keep the bristles tidy for such delicate work. Application was smooth, the formulation doesn't run or drip. It felt nice to apply and is a great intense pigment of black. The bristled brush also allows you to get in between lashes for a truly dense line. Unfortunately for me, it didn't have the staying power I am hunting for, even with a primer and setting powder used. I think the oils in my eye area just refuse to allow any eye makeup to sit!

I have tried many gel eyeliners and this seems to work better than the more expensive ones. It is easy to get onto the brush and apply, if you are gentle you won't get clumps. With a bit of practice you'll be able to line your eyes quickly.

I LOVE THIS, this is by far my favourite eyeliner, I think this is a good price, it is amazingly smudge proof which i love. overall i think is is a great product and i will definetly be using this again

I've had issues with liquid liners before, getting it in my eyes and it running everywhere, and with pencil liners it would rub off easily and I didn't get the perfect line I wanted. This gel liner creates a defined and dark eye line with no issues at all.
