Maybelline Volum' Express Mega Plush Review

I had a friend rave on about this so much that when I saw it on sale at a Makeup Clearance Sale I decided to grab it. Lucky for me I did grab it on sale and didn't pay full price for it as I was highly disappointed. It just didn't do any justice for my eyelashes, I hated how the wand bends which doesn't make for an easy application. Overall I would not purchase at full price if its your first time buying it. Maybe it just isn't my type of mascara but if you are wanting to buy it, buy it on SALE!!!

This is a great mascara for me. although i do love all the maybelline mascaras. it like the wand as i find it gives me quite alot of definition to my lashes. i do alway use it in conjunction with the maybelline falsies as that my holly grail mascara. i find the two together gives my=e defined volumised thickened lashes :)

i brought this product to replace my Maybeline Falsies Mascara to see if it was a good as that, and i have to say i was disappointed. I felt that it didn't give me anymore volume than just a standard mascara, and i always felt that it irritated my eyes after a while, then have my eyes water leaving me with smudged mascara down my cheek.

I brought this product out of sheer interest from the advertisements (sucker). This is a great mascara if you take the time to apply it right. It does become a hassle if you have longer lashes as the mascara can leave a trail along your brow bone and occasionally lash line if your in a hurry. If you apply generous coats quickly and accurately it can look amazing!. I always find you have to learn each new mascara you get. Not the worst mascara ive tried!

I got this mascara, tried it out and hated the flexy wand, made me feel like a mascara beginner (even though I'm not) I couldn't see the point of a bendy wand. So I left it for a while. Then decided to try it again, got used to the brush (still didnt like it) and still was disappointed. Gives a little length and it clumps very easy.. Wouldnt purchase again, even though I love the color of the tube :)

I purchased this mascara because I noticed it was in my sister's make-up bag and she has amazing eyelashes. So naturally I had it in my head that I was going to have these amazing voluminous eyelashes. But boy was I wrong. To me, my own personal experience with this mascara was horrible. I felt like I was putting glue on my lashes and the brush was a nightmare to try and use. It was over flexi. It was so hard to remove as well. I had panda eyes the next day even though I had tried to get it all of for an extended period of time. I love Maybelline, but this product was not for me.

The mousse formula is really nice and it lengthens but the brush is pretty average. If the brush was better the mascara would be much easier to use as it clumps easily :(

I was excited to try out this mascara! But unfortunately it was too light weight and just made my lashes black. It provided no volume, no length, and no curl to my lashes and it was extremely difficult to remove.

As for the wand. It has a bend in it and I do not understand why - I prefer my mascara wands to be firm! It made it difficult to use this mascara and I ended up flicking mascara on my eye lids and under my eyes numerous times.

Overall this was very annoying to use.

I do love this mascara and it's my favourite that I have tried so far. It does create quite a natural but full look, however I find it can be clumpy, it all depends on how it's applied I suppose. The thing I love is it lasts all day looking the same as it did when you left the house, my lashes don't fall out or become brittle. Definitely would use it again.

Definitely adds Volume ! Love this paired with paired with Maybelline Falsies or Maybelline Rocket but like others have reviewed it really does need a couple of coats !
