I bought and tried Eye Shadow Base, which is a flesh-toned colour, and I prefer to scoop a little of the product out before dabbing it on with my ring finger and then smoothing it out with a concealer brush.
I found the product to be lightweight and easy to apply, and eye shadow colours definitely appear more vibrant and intense, as well as lasting all day without creasing. It’s reasonably priced and a little goes a long way, so it will last quite a while before I need to replace it.
I bought this on a whim, having seen a YouTube video comparing shadow swatches with and without a primer/base and seeing how much more the colour popped. This base is a flesh colour so it doesn't create as much of a colour pop as the white version does. The little pot has a good screw top lid which stays put but is still easy to open. I tend to use my fingers to apply and you can get the product under your finger nails using that approach. Eye shadows go on much much more smoothly and last much longer. Shadows that fade back by the end of work day without the base stay true all day - actually they will even survive doing a workout without going all creased and smudged. For the price it is an amazing product and preforms really really well! It also helps even liquid eyeliners stay where they are put!
Tips: Try both versions and swatch a couple of shadows to see the difference
