The darker colours in this palette are certainly well pigmented and easy to blend however, I did find that the lighter shades were very sheer and not worth using. The bright gold shade is my favourite although it would be amazing if it were even more pigmented. As a newbie to eyeshadow, I did find it a little difficult due to the poor pigmentation of some of the shades. If it was on special, it would probably be worth purchasing for the nice, well pigmented shades but I wouldnt go out of my way to hunt it down

I wasn't fast enough to answer my invite so I missed out. I waited two weeks and couldn't resist buying this after reading some reviews. So I purchased this from the Warehouse for $30 I was expecting to pay more so was happy with that. So it comes in a nice compact case that is black and fits in my makeup bag perfectly. It has 6 shimmer colours and 6 matte with a great how to guide on the back. I have tried some of these looks and they are great so many awesome combinations in one palette. The only thing I was disappointed with was the sponge applicator and it had no mirror both of those things are easily fixed. I am happy I brought this it is so versitile. Thanks for the heads up BR
Tips: Use your own brush to apply the sponge applicator is not that flash :)
After having read so much about the Maybelline The Nudes Palette and having missed out the BR invite, I had to go and get it myself. I have not regretted that at all. I like the thought put in the palette that all the quadrants can be easily used together. I think this palette is a wonderful base and perfect for every day make-up. For example I took it with me as my only eyeshadow on a week of travelling and was happy about it every day. The colours are very rich and easy to apply. As I mostly like a natural look, I am using the lighter clouds more often. But since there a four to choose from, it never gets boring. The only downside is the sponge applicator that comes with it.
Thanks to the lovley ladys on br and all the talk on this nude palette I had to go out and but it for myself, Even better when i got it on special for 25% off and the warhouse :)
The posibilities are endless with this. This is the first product I ever atempted to fill my eye brows with (I use the second colour on the top row) and i dont even think i would try another product im that happy with how they look.
The handy little guide on the back is awesome if you need some pointers on colour combos for your eye lids or you can justmake it up as you go, you cant really go wrong.
I realy think this is one product everyone should own
This is an awesome palette. Super versatile and wearable. Great neutral shades with a variety of shimmers and mattes. Good price compared to high end palettes and the shadows are good quality. There are some light shades that barely show but overall the pigmentation is decent, especially for drugstore.
Tips: I like to use this palette to contour and also as a highlighter.
I was invited to review this palette but missed out, so had to buy it myself. It was a reasonable price compared to similar palettes on the market. The packaging is attractive and sturdy. Good selection of shades and the pigmentation is really good. This is my first eyeshadow palette, in the past I have used single, double or quad shadows. I prefer to use a brush rather than a sponge applicator, it blends more evenly. A mirror would have been handy as well. These colours are all I need to create a stunning eye.
Tips: Use as a contour as well.
Every girl needs a nude eyeshadow pallet in their make up collection and I highly recommend this one. I'm not a frequent make up wearer and I like natural looks and this is perfect. The browns are perfect to create an everyday natural look and the more glittery colours I use for a more 'going out' look. I love this so much and have nothing bad to say about it.
I was very excited when this palette came out and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I am all about nude eye shadow and have been wanting to learn to how contour my face for ages now.
The palette is a lot smaller in size than I initially thought it would be with each colour in the palette only being about 1cmx2cm. However, for $30 I was happy to purchase it because I was still getting 12 shades of nude.
The shades in this palette wear beautifully and all mix and match well depending on how light or dark you want your eye shadow to be. Some of the lighter shades are very light and some of the darker browns can come on very strong in comparison.
I'm still looking forward to getting a friend to help teach me how to contour when I find the time and will be using this palette to do so. (I'm just not sure a utube video will cut the mustard when I have so many shades to work work and don't have a clue where to begin)
While travelling, I picked up this palette. As a fan of nudes and other palettes, I thought this would be a great product to try - and I was right!
This palette is so versatile with 12 shades (variety of bronze, browns, champagnes, and taupes). It ended up being the only eyeshadow I used for three weeks, and I never tired of the looks I could create.
While I tend to use more expensive palettes, I was curious if these eyeshadows could stand up to them, and they did surprisingly well.
The palette is shorter than others I have, but wider, with smaller square pans, however, after three weeks of continuous use, they still look full.
The shadows are soft, and there's a mix of matte and shimmer. And surprisingly, the darker shades were quite pigmented. The lighter ones not so much, and I really had to work them to get coverage, but the light shades are beautiful colours so it was worth it.
Highly recommend giving this a try, I think you'll be surprised by the quality.
I normally steer clear of putting more than one colour on my lids, fear of looking like I've been punched in the eye mainly. I just never felt like I knew what I was doing. This palette has made my routine so much more "sophisticated ". I have worn a number of combinations and feel like I'm looking a lot more put together and polished. I like that the packaging shows which colours go together in duos, trios and quads, which is great if you really have no idea. I needed to wear a base on my lid though as I think these don't have the best staying power. Overall this is a great starter and I'm so pleased I tried it out, I'll be a lot more confident with my eye makeup going forward.
Tips: Wear a base on your lid first - I like Bobbi Brown Creme Shadow in Cement.
