Maybelline Tattoo Brow Pomade Pot Reviews

I’ve only ever used brow pomade once before and that was from Milani which I wasn’t hugely impressed by because of how it dried up easily and became quite clunky.

In comparison, there’s one word I can use to describe this which is: creamy! It legit looked like chocolate when I first opened the lid. I have to admit I applied too much when I first tried so I ended up having thick, dark caterpillars for brows. The great thing about that fact is a little goes a really long way. You can use a tiny bit to have more feathery, “natural” looking brows or use more for some bold statement brows. I also feel that if you’ve just recently had your brows threaded/waxed, you can easily achieve that particular “Instagram Eyebrows” look with this product without even needing to clean it up after with a concealer. It’s just so precise.

In terms of the brush applicator, it's roughly 2.5 inches long (from the point of the angled brush down to the spoolie) and Maybelline did a fantastic job on designing the angled brush. It's pointed enough to know where you're drawing and the bristles aren't stiff enough for the product to glide onto the skin. I do wish the spoolie was smaller and the bristles were more dense just so when I blend out my brows I won't feel the need to wipe out any excess that goes "outside the lines" - however, this is not a dealbreaker for me and is easily remedied.

When I purposely try to rub off the product on my brows with a finger, it relatively stays on, but I do have a smidgen of colour on my fingertip when I check it. For cleansing I did see that it takes a number of scrubbing to completely remove it and you can't just use a makeup wipe which is a major plus because you know that baby is gonna stick come rain or shine.

In conclusion, I would absolutely buy this from my own pocket and highly recommend it. In all honesty, I've been such brow pencil gal for years, but after I received this in the mail, I haven't gone back to my pencil because of the ease of using this! Like I can't believe I'm saying I'd favour this pomade now over my pencils - it's crazy.

I've never used a brow pomade before and I LOVE IT. I had my brows micro planed earlier on in the year but because they're very blonde I still need to tint them.

This has the BEST stickability of any brow product i've ever used and a little goes a long way so use with a light hand.

It lasts far longer than any other brow product i've ever used and the colour is perfect. Highly HIGHLY recommend. Love love LOVE it.

The brush is really great, which is unusual for brushes that come with things! I found it picked up product and distributed it evenly and simply.

It lasts until you wash it off which was a pleasant surprise - no brows running down my face during the torrential rain fall!

I think this is a nice step up from brow pencils for people who want a bit of extra oomph to their brow game, but aren't looking to tint them.

I heard this stuff was good from a beauty YouTuber I follow so I was keen to try it. It did not disappoint. It comes in a wee pottle with a double ended brush with a spoolie. The brush is amazing for getting a fine point at the tail, I was blown away how easy it was. The formula is rich and super pigmented so you only need the tiniest amount (I used way too much the first time and had very bold brows!) I have used the ABH promade in the past and this is easily just as good at a fraction of the price. The pottle will last ages given how little you need to use.

I love this brow pomade, it stays all day and makes my brows look so much more full but still in a natural way. The angled brush is easy to use because it is so small and good for making hair-like brush strokes. The spoolie end is great for brushing the product through the brows and creating a more natural look. The pomade itself comes in a cute glass jar and is super pigmented so will last a really long time. Probably not the right product for beginners as it is easy to over-apply and some experience with drawing on eyebrows would be helpful as you do have to freehand it. I would highly recommend this product to somewhat experienced brow drawers and people wanting natural but full-looking brows.

Until recently I had been buying the pencil version of this product - and while the product itself was awesome, my only complaint was the way that you had to apply the product. The pencil didn't sharpen/shave well, and it would run out completely in just a few weeks.

I only tried this Pomade Pot only because the pencil wasn't available, but I've never actually been a fan of applying brow make up with a brush because I find it hard to get the right precision (I'm not sure if they don't make the pencil any more, as I haven't seen it in a while).

So anyway, I tried this and was really pleasantly surprised. The delicate angled brush was very easy to use, and I was able to get really clean lines - which is great for brows. The brush is double-ended, so angled brush on one side and then the other is like the tip of a mascara brush. This is great for going over the brow after applying the pomade. It spreads it really well for a natural finish.

This stays on really well, just like the pencil.

The best thing about this is that I probably bought it about 2 months ago, and it looks like I have barely used any of it. This is seriously going to last me a long long time!

I have this eyebrow tattoo pomade by Maybelline and it’s my favourite! Always keeps my eyebrows looking fresh and neat, I love that the 2sided brush just makes the overall look that much better 👌

I love this product, it attuilly stays on and is waterproof, I use it alot own several of these cause can't get enough, easy to apply and doesn't feel heavy

Without trying to sound like a make up snob, this product was a lot better than I expected. I have tried some brow pomades before and not been all that impressed, but this one actually gave a decent result.

I will say it didn't quite work how I expected from the instructions. It gave my brows a bit of a tattooed effect (which might seem logical given the name of the product) but the instructions show more of a light filling in effect which I could not achieve. Fortunately I have other products that do that so the more intense look was a change of pace.

The Tattoo Brow Pomade is a cream formula; it applied smoothly, adhered well, remained relatively fixed all day and created a sharp and defined look.

The cardboard packaging was quite large for the size of the glass jar and brush. The glass jay was easy to get product from and for a supplied brush, I actually really like it and won't use my own brush instead (which is probably a first).

I would use this product again.
