I really am loving bold (but tame - no bush catapillers here!) eyebrows and my last eyebrow pencil was discontinued (story of my life people!) so I was on the hunt for one that wouldn't break the bank. I liked Mac's but it was a tad expensive for something I chew through. Enter Maybelline my eyebrow hero on a white horse (too far?) this colour matches me perfectly and doesnt have the red in it like everyother pencil I tried (yay!) it's easy to use and cheap. Once again I have happy eyebrows.

Tips: Make sure you get one that matches your hair colour - I know this seems a tad obvious but seriously it makes all the difference. Don't be afraid to test it and go outside fluro lighting is not your friend. Also a simple tip - keep it sharp and you will find your lines are better and more natural.
Eyebrows are the most important feature on my face so when it comes down to them I need to use a product that works for me. I tried a pencil for the first time as it was cheap roughly $15.00 I think and I can tell you I was quite disappointed. The product is really even from just looking at it you can tell so when I applying it felt as if I had to try hard to do my eyebrows and then I would have to sharpen it because it would go short so fast and that's when the really tough part comes in. The tube is plastic so it's almost impossible to sharpen it good with out force or ending up with squished wax. I wouldn't recommend bit who knows might work out for someone else.
This is a pretty good pencil but probably a bit too light for my brows. The little brush on the end is really good for brushing brows into place. The pencil is a nice texture too. Good for fair coloured brows!
When I last got my eyebrows waxed the technician suggested getting a pencil. I went out and got a cheap one, not really thinking it would be worthwhile. I lost that one, and I'm glad I did because I went and got the Maybelline one and was so impressed, the other one clumped and it was fairly obvious I was using it. This one glided on and looked really natural, a better colour match to my natural brow. Top marks from me!
This pencil is OK. It is a good colour for blondes, however it is quite waxy so doesnt go on very smooth, and its not actually a wooden pencil, the pencil is plastic so it is quite hard to sharpen. I now have the elf brow kit and would use that over this pencil any day!
Tips: You CAN sharpen it. Just use a normal pencil sharpener, however it is quite difficult
I recently discovered this pencil of joy and loved it!!! being a bit of a tom boy i had never filled in my brows myself, everyone was doing it so thought id try. its super easy to use, especially like nubes like myself ^_^
I had never used an eyebrow pencil before but found that I now need to so I picked this one up as it said it was blonde (and I couldn't find any other brand where I was that was for blonde). It's pretty dark I thought but does the job if I don't put alot of it on. A shade lighter would be perfect.
Tips: I put it on my brows in short strokes and then run the brush over my brow which lessens the darkness
For quite a while, I have been using a matte brown shadow to do my brows, however I lost the pallet and had nothing to do my brows with. This was the only eyebrow pencil in my colour that was left in stock, and I love maybelline, so I bought the product. The spooly brush on the end is great for shaping your brows and the pencil on the other end is awesome too! I found that the pencil allowed me to create a finer and more defined edge to my eyebrow than what the powder did. The colour is easily buildable, so that you can go for a bolder brow if desired. The colour is possibly a tiny bit too yellow based, but it is hardly noticable (I'm just picking on it due the fact that I'm writing a review;) ) Other than that, I think this is a pretty good product, and I personally think a product like this is a must have!
Tips: Shape your brows, then outline, then fill them in lightly, and if you want a bolder look fill in more:)
I was sick of ordering my MAC dirty blonde eyebrow pencils from Auckland so I went searching for a brown pencil in farmers and found this one. 1/4 the price and just about the same, easy to apply and perfect for lighter eyebrows. I like how it glides on easily and the screw-pen style means you arent forever sharpening the pen. It also stays on all day and washes off easily.
Tips: use a taupe or brown -coloured powder overtop to get softer/darker look You defo have to use the comb to brush product through to get natural look.
I had a very love-hate relationship when I had this product but I have found better things since! I loved that the product had the pencil/wax on one end and a spoolie on the other end making it a 2 in 1! I didn't like however, that the waxy pencil was quite hard to manoeuvre onto my brows and didn't make them look very natural. Not too expensive though so for someone doesn't need to spend too long on their brows this could be the product for you.Personally, I prefer the elf brow kit!
Tips: You can sharpen it!
