Would not be without my curler, one of the most wonderful inventions ever created! I might try the GOLD next time I replace my silver one, just so I can try it but there is nothing wrong with this one, does the job beautifully!
Tips: Give it a blast with the hairdryer for a few secs, and walk up the lashes two or three times to the ends, really does open up the eyes.
i have always had a fear of eyelash curlers, because I was scared they would cut my eyelashes off... one day I decided to buy some (impulse buying yet again) for only $9.... after using it for the first time, I realised how much difference curnling your eyeashes makes to your eye look. these curlers are gentle, they don't grab and has smooth movement. really worth the small price! would definitely recommend anyone to get them!
I first bought these when I was training as a makeup artist 11years ago... I still use them! The changeable pads make them hygienic and new with every change! They are basic, affordable and used correctly get the job done! Can't express how much I respect my manicure curlers!
Tips: I like to rub mine a good bit before using them to warm them, helps to mould the eyelashes for longer curl. Practice, keep them clean and buy an extra packet of pads when you first buy them.... You won't regret it!
This eyelash curler is really affordable, super good and it really opens up your eyes! I need new pads on mine but they do last a very long time!
Tips: don't clamp too hard!
I have used alsorts of eyelash curlers in my past, this is the only one that will curl my stubborn straight eyelashes! It comes with a spare eyelash pad, its very comfortable to place and hold, i recommend this curler for all the makeup girls, they help fan out your eyelashes and open up the eye area
Tips: Draw a line on the inside of where your eyelid touches the curler with your eyeliner pencil. Curl your eyelashes as normal but hold it there for 30 seconds and vola you have a curled eyelash with eyeliner ontop of your lid :-)
I don't often curl my lashes as my natural ones are quite long and curled, however when I use false lashes I always use a curler to blend the false set in with my natural lashes. These are a staple tool for me and for the price you can't beat it. I've never found them to not work or be painful.
I've had these for virtually my whole makeup wearing life. They're not the highest quality lash curlers so yes, you do need to buy new ones when the pads start to get ragged and there are now lots of mascaras that do a great job with curling but these are good for really opening up the eye and I'll always have a pair in my beauty bag. Sometimes if you have really short or sparse lashes it's hard to get a grasp and you can end up pinching your eye so take your time with it!
Tips: Warm them up with your hairdryer (don't get them too hot or you'll burn yourself) to help get a really nice, long lasting curl.
The best I have tried, and I have tried Revlon, Napoleon Perdis and these. I don't know what it is exactly that makes them so great, but I feel it has something to do with the ring type handles so you can put a thumb and index finger in each hole and apply to the lashes, creating the perfect pinch. Whereas I find with the Napoleon ones they have a paddle handle which I can never obtain the perfect grip from, therefore not being able to squeeze properly. You also get an extra rubber liner in the Manicare packet, and you can buy these on their own as well! I will always remain a user of these.
Tips: Once you have curled, applied mascara, eyeliner etc, finish off by giving the lashes another light curl over the top. Va va voom
Eyelash curlers are a must have in any make up bag. I have always brought this brand and will never change. Very affordable (I cant imagine a expensive brand doing the job any better)
