Colgate Optic White Toothpaste review

I like the bright red packaging. Its very eye catching and fun. The tube is easy to use with a convenient pop up lid, so no worries about missing the cap. The taste of the toothpaste is nice, kind of strong mint taste. I have been using this from a couple of months now, and I can't say my smile have become any more whiter than it was earlier, but it definitely cleans my teeth and keeps breath fresh. I don't think that it whitens teeth but it tastes good and it feels fresh and so I think I would continue using it for some time.

I love this toothpaste and have been using it for years. The taste is strong and a wee bit like liniment but I like it, I am a smoker and coffee drinker so need all the help I can get to have white teeth and fresh breath and this toothpaste is my personal favorite. My teeth are generally whiter than when I first started using it but nothing like the bright white on the tv ads.

I bought this toothpaste first for the whitening aspect, and second for the packaging. The red tube is very pretty. While this toothpaste has a great taste, and leaves your teeth feeling very clean, I am not sure how much it whitens your teeth. I began to feel like my teeth were looking whiter, but it seems it was wishful thinking as looking back at photos they had not at all changed.

I had poor expectations of this toothpaste.

I brought it about 7 weeks ago when it was on special just to give it a try.

While I'm not 3 or 4 shades lighter in toothie whiteness, there is a noticeable difference. Not so much whiter, just less yellowish.

The taste isn't too flash. Not minty fresh, just somewhat minty. The texture is fairly smooth. It recommends to only rinse your mouth with a very small amount of water after - my dentist recently told me to stop rinsing altogether but I hate the Stringy Slime some toothpastes leave behind - well this toothpaste does not do that. so flag the rinse!

I'm thinking I will grab another tube of this when it runs out... I'm interested to see if continued use makes any more difference.

Bright packaging really appealing on toothpaste shelf, decent size tube but is a bit more expensive than other whitening toothpastes at supermarket. I really like the taste of the toothpaste which is why I continue to use this product, however my teeth haven't really whitened up as promised. Have been using this toothpaste for about 6 months.

I did some research and the whitening toothpastes are not ideal to be using all the time because they are not as good for your teeth could be the harshness this one is quite scrubby and strong. I would use this in conjunction with my regular tooth paste. This one didn't show a huge difference but I wouldn't say it did nothing. It can be a bit pricey so look out for specials. I don't recommend this one if you have gum problems

My teeth are really stained from years of red wine, coffee and unfortunately energy drinks. I have tried many different whitening products but none have made much difference. I do have quite sensitive teeth and use a special toothpaste for this. I’ve tried about 3 different types of this toothpaste and they’ve all noticeably whitened my teeth more so than anything else I’ve tried. They’re definitely too expensive to use as a family toothpaste and I would think too abrasive for children’s teeth but one tube will last me about a month. I have definitely noticed increased sensitivity since using this paste but if I use a sensitivity toothpaste at night then I can get away with it. I did stop using this for a few months over Lockdown and the stains seemed to return. If you’re after a fairly affordable whitening paste I would recommend this one but it’s not going to work overnight and if you have sensitive teeth then I’d suggest having a special toothpaste on hand.

I have been using this and notice my teeth slightly more white..but I wouldn't say 3 shades. I like they way it makes your teeth and mouth feel. Im not sure it is a good product for those who are prone to sensitivity, it has made some sensitive areas in my mouth play up a bit. I would purchase again if it was on special, but would probably alternate it with a sensitive paste also.

I am a freak when it comes to my teeth so naturally I purchased this product for what it promised.. It does indeed have a great taste and it does feel nice when brushing.. I was expecting the 3 shades whiter teeth after 3 or 4 weeks of using it like it said on the pack but I dont believe it did as promised.. the price on it for a toothpaste it a tad ridiculous I'd like to use it everyday but the price is just too hefty for my liking.

This product was okay, although I have only used one tube so perhaps I need to try it again. My teeth are marginally whiter but I don't think it would be noticeable to other people. I also didn't really like how strong the taste was
