Clean & Clear Advantage Toner Review

I purchased this range from there kit from the supermarket last year. This was my first ever toner and i actually don't see how this one is different from the essentials range. I have normal/combination skin and i found for me it wasn't too harsh. I found that it did leave my skin feeling quite refreshed.

I purchased a C&C advantage kit which contains this toner.

I have tried many toner, expensive and in-expensive, chemically and natural, this one is my favorite.

Its a clear color watery consistency. It contains alcohol which you can smell it. However, it doesnt sting your eyes or smell too strong. I used to use a toner for acne which i have to hold my breath and close my eyes while applying. So this one is so much better.

Yes it dries out skin as its supposed to and we can expect that because its for ACNE skin. I have combination skin and i can feel the dryness. However, i apply moisturizer afterward and it fix the problem. My skin feels so clean and soft after i use the toner.

It has minty, cooling feeling when it dries which i quite like.

I dont have any burning experience, however sometimes i found some tingling which i think the product is killing bacteria which cause acne.

Overall i love this toner and would repurchase.

I purchased this as part of a kit and it has been apart of my daily skin routine. I found it worked well and did what it said when used it with the other products in the kit. It prevented pimples and breakouts and continues to do the same now. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed.

Great product to tighten up and clean your skin. Unsure if it did much else, but good value for money, although a small bottle so you go through it quickly.

I use this on a cotton ball on only the pimple or on areas prone to breakouts. I love this as it dries out the pimples. Strong alcohol scent.

This stuff works great with the foam cleanser from Clean and Clear.

I saw my skin getting clearer, and it was less oily during the day as well. I go for the oil free one, left my skin feeling fresh and clean.

I used this toner in conjunction with the C&C advantage pimple control cleanser and spot clearing gel. (There is a moisturiser also that's part of the kit, but I did not use that product.) While the system is effective in my experience, they are not partciuarly pleasant products to use..

I have pretty much 'normal' skin, ie; not sensitive, not oily, not dry... And this toner seems be fine for me. I note that as I noticed that others have commented that it's drying and it burns, I don't seem to find those issues with it.

My face definitely feels a little fresher and cleaner after dabbing a bit of this toner on. I don't experience any problems with tightness as can sometimes be the case with toners, and I think that it does help a little bit to minimize pores.

The smell is quite artificial/chemical (as are the cleanser and spot clearing gel that are supposed to go with it), although I don't think that is anything unusual of a toner, and it's not that bad, kinda soapy even..

I'm probably not going to repurchase this product, although it did the job for me and I didn't really have any problems with it. It's just very average.

I purchased this product as part of the trial kit. I used this toner once a day usually after removing my makeup. I did find this product rather strong and harsh on my skin. I do prefer a more gentle toner.
