The formula is creamy and soft, so highly pigmented and doesn't appear to crease like many other cream based shadows. They give a wonderful pop of colour to any look, they just need to expand the selection

I brought this in the shade Amy Whitehouse. It is a white metallic colour. The formula of this is incredibly buttery so it can take a bit to dry on your eyelids so I recommend not skipping the eyeshadow primer with these. I love that the colour pay off is true to the name of the eyeshadow that being metallic.
It can be quite difficult to get the right amount of eyeshadow out of the pot with a make up brush. So I end up applying this using my finger which isn't very hygienic. They can crease and transfer so I tend to only wear them for a special occasion and not everyday use.
I enjoy creating new looks and this shade is prefer as a base for doing so. I recommend these especially at the price.
Tips: Go easy it super pigmented.
When I first saw these I got so excited but I controlled myself and only bought 1 to test out first in case I hated it. It is very moussey/creamy and when I swatched it on my hand it was insanely pigmented and it definitely had a foiled look to it. When I put it on my lid I first used a very small brush and I found that it applied really well, however I did find that it almost immediately creases and becomes scaley and patchy.
Next I tried using my finger and I found that if you apply a little at a time it does not crease but I still was not able to build it up to a full foiled finish without it creasing badly.
Overall I do actually really like this product, and I love using it when I want a more dramatic look. I definitely will be buying more of the shades.
Tips: Using your finger ensures that the product does not crease on your lids.
These give off such a cool metallic vibe but I do experience a bit of fall out, and with such strong colours they are a bit hard to clean up. But the colour payoff is worth it!
Tips: Apply first before doing the rest of your face.
It is worth the buy. You're getting a lot of pigment and metallically wonderful-ness (yep made up word) for what you're paying.
I do love and enjoy this product for those above reasons, however, there are a couple downsides...
Due to the consistency/texture it can be a bit difficult to pick up with a brush, I find you generally pick up a bit too much and then you're either going to get fall out or metallic overload (more of an issue just when you're wanting a small amount to highlight lid of eye etc... if you want full eye covered with this then that's not really a problem).
I also find that it can be a little bit patchy when blending... It's a very unique texture in that regard but honestly, I do think, even with the downsides that this is worth the buy.
They've got a colour range, my particular favourite is Gun's and Metal Petals and the pay off is great... it's just a bit difficult to work with if you're trying to achieve a really seamless look.
Tips: Probably easiest to use this product with your finger if you want to blend it out nicely!
I purchased this product about 6 months ago to put together a cool clubbing make up look! since then i have been obesessed!
This is a good value for money product, i have had it awhile and i have barely noticed any missing from the tubs! (i have 2 shades) The packaging is really simple! I also really enjoy the names of the shades, super creative. I always have a little giggle at them.
The consistency of this product is creamy and very mouse like, Which makes application a bit difficult to apply! i tried to apply with a brush, but it didn't give the super pigmented "foiled" application that i wanted. Applying with your finger gives a super pigmented and foiled look. I noticed that they transferred to my upper eyelid and creasing through out the night. The next time i used a eyeshadow base and it worked better. this eyeshadow works even better with an primer.
I was recommended the eyeshadow by a friend who said it was a good dupe for Stila magnificent metals! which was the effect i was going for.
Defiantly on the look out to get some more shades. They are really hard to find in NZ!
Tips: An eyelid prime goes a long way and use your finger for a more foiled application.
I liked the shimmery and glittery pigment in these shadows. They did feel a little sticky on the eyes so you could only apply it thinly and I'm not sure how well they would last in humidity. However I did feel glamorous wearing them.
Gold Gaga is a gold base with a decent amount of both gold and silver glitter. The formulation is quite light and mousse like to the touch. I definitely prefer my fingers to apply this to my lids. It lasted a good five hours on my oil slick lids too. It really does give a foiled lid look, similar to what you'd get with using an eyeshadow wet.
Compared to another "drug store" brand that has metallic cream eyeshadows, these are definitely much easier for application. Another bonus is the price - a lot of products of similar quality are easily two or three times the price!
My favourite way to apply this is to dab a small amount in the centre of my lights as a highlight/catchlight.
Tips: I recommend a primer to increase the wear time - and you can set these with eyeshadow too if that helps!
I brought the entire collection of these shadows off the australis website when they had a 50% off sale. I am sooo impressed with the pigmentation from them, however, I did have a reaction on my inner corners from them :( I'm yet to give them another go as I'm not sure if my skin was particularly sensitive that day or not.
Having said that, the colour lasted really well all day and didn't move which is great so i am hoping that i can use them stil!
Tips: Set with a powder for ultimate staying powder.
I bought the colours Gold Gaga and Lana Del Grey and fell in love the first time that I used them. They are great for putting down as base or wearing by themselves. The times that i have worn them, people have asked what they are. Cant wait to buy more.
Tips: Use under powder colours to make them pop.
