Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Review

Throughout my high school years, I had often heard about a fragrance called Flowerbomb, and how it smelt amazing. It was not until after high school when I started using Floral scents that I considered buying the fragrance. Naturally, I was really tempted to buy Flowerbomb, but was hesitant because of the price. However, I took the plunge and treated myself to a 100ml bottle! This was honestly the best thing I have ever done with my fragrance endeavours. I am in LOVE with this fragrance, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough about it.

The bottle shape reminds me of a grenade, but with clean lines-perhaps reflecting Viktor and Rolfs interpretation of a ‘flower bomb’. The glass bottle, with its simplistic silver lid, and silver label adds a touch of quality and sophistication, which is reflected within the fragrance and unfortunately, the price tag. The fragrance itself is a soft pink colour, and smells divine. The fragrance is an outburst of flowers, reflecting a feminine fragrance, which makes me feel good!! I smell hints of sweetness in this, which reminds me of vanilla, and if it didn’t cost so much, I would think about drowning my clothes in it. Another positive about this fragrance is a little goes a long way; one or two sprays in the morning is more than enough to smell amazing for the whole day- I agree with other reviews when I say less is more! This also makes the product more economical, I have had my bottle for over 8 months now, and I still have over ¼ of the bottle left. This was for a time, my every day fragrance, but now I am savouring it for special occasions, until I can save up to buy another bottle.

I recommend this to all those who like floral fragrances, and even those who don’t! I think this is a fragrance is a game changer that could make anyone love it!

Everyone knows how wonderful this perfume is! Its sweet with out being sickly, its fresh with out smelling like a new car, its lady like and sexy at the same time. could we ask for anything more.

OMG this perfume is sheer elegance and is my absolute favourite! I am often complimented by both Men and Woman about how great I smell when I wear this perfume. I have had to limit myself to wearing it every now and then as its so expensive so I save it for special occasions now. I find that this perfume smells sweet and sassy, without being overpowering, its just beautiful :) It lasts all day and is a MUST for any serious woman that takes pride in smelling good! An absolute treat ladies, get ya man to buy you a biiiig bottle of this and you'll never ever want to wear anything else again :)

4 words… I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! i find it so hard to find the perfect scent, one you can wear all the time and also one that is a stand out on special occasions, and this perfume does it all, I have worn this fragrance for several years, and was thinking of changing it for my wedding day, try something different. I just could not find anything else that came close to how beautiful, feminine and floral this is, I ended up purchasing a gift set which came with a body lotion and a shower gel, so on the day I was able to layer the fragrance and felt and smelt amazing, a must have for all girly girls and women.

Beautiful fragrance, I own the 100ml EDP version, I have previously purchased the 100ml before and been gifted the 50ml.

I find it quite a 'heavy' fragrance due to how long intense it is and how long it lasts, I only need to apply in the morning and it is good for the whole day. I have also found that my scarves and the lapels on my winter coats also smell heavily like the perfume now too.

Flowerbomb as you may be able to guess is a floral scented perfume, as BR note in the product description the 'notes' of the perfume, I can only pick out myself from it the rose, bergamot and patchouli,

Ladies - forgive me for writing this review... I know many women love this and I am a little afraid to voice my opinion... (I am kidding ;P).

As part of a Nordstrom order I did, I got a sample bottle of this. I was super excited because I had been wanting to try it out ever since I had heard friends talk about how amazing it is. Not being able to afford a full bottle, I greedily took advantage of the sample Nordstrom were offering.

I can't talk about the packaging because the bottle I got was one of those small spritz bottles. However, in store the bottle for this looks beautiful!

On me, the scent starts off as a sweet floral smell (which isn't something I like). In fact, for the first hour or so of wearing this I really, really don't like it. When the perfume develops, however, the patchoulli notes come out and this turns into a subtle musky scent which is something I really like.

Even though I am not really a fan of overpowering scents, this is much too subtle for my liking. It could be the way that it interacts with my chemistry, but unless I smell exactly where I sprayed this, I can't smell it at all. This might be something you enjoy but I personally like to be able to get a hint of the perfume I am wearing throughout the day.

Even if this were less expensive, I wouldn't buy it because it is too floral and too subtle for my taste. I prefer something more spicy and sexy that has a little more punch.

Despite or perhaps because of the popularity of this fragrance, I've never previously tried Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb except as a passing whiff at a perfume counter. Recently however I managed to pick up a 7ml EDP and have been wearing it almost everyday since!

The scent is an explosion of elegant floral perfection. Just the right amount of heavenly jasmine without being sickly or too sweet like some florals can, and not too 'old lady garden' if that makes sense! As it warms on my skin I get the slightly spicy warmth of musk and patchoulli coming through. I find this makes it a scent that women of all ages could pull off.

On top of all this, I'm particulary impressed by the level of detail in the packaging - the pink glass bomb-shaped bottle even in miniature form really flows well with 'flowerbomb'.

I really, really want a full-size version of this fragrance and it's definately on the lust-list for my partner's anniversary present hint hint hehe.

I struggle to find perfumes that work well on my skin. I can smell something in a bottle that is amazing, but as soon as I spray it on, it changes and turns into something I hate. So finding a new perfume has been a challenge.

I have worn Gucci Rush for years and decided I needed something new. I had heard so much about Flowerbomb that I had to try it. The bottle looks stunning, it's got a really unique shape and just screams opulence. The first time I smelled it was on a spray card and I was somewhat underwhelmed. It smelt ok, but that was it, just ok. Not to be put off I purchased a small sample size from the Big Bucket popup store to trial it out.

From the first time I wore it I received so many compliments. The scent starts off as a soft, floral scent but then morphs into this heady, woody scent that is just gorgeous. It’s difficult to describe because it changes so much on my skin, but this has become my scent of choice and I wear it every single day. It lasts an entire day on my skin, for me a sign that a perfume is a perfect match for me, is when I can no longer smell it on myself.

The price tag is rather high, but then for such an amazing perfume it really is worth it.

This is the most beautiful perfume on this planet, it smells so luxurious and amazing. The scent lasts longer than a day, I'll put it on one day and I'll still smell it on myself the next day. The packaging is so gorgeous. The only downside is the price. It's so expensive but I swear it is so worth it. It makes me smell like a princess

Such a gorgeous scent. Sweet, floral and delicate. I like that the bottle is classy and simple, looks so pretty on my dressing table. This fragrance is a real winner, never met someone who has said they don't like it! My boyfriends favourite perfume I own too. Only problem is I've found it does not last as long as some other perfumes.
