Let's get the bad out of the way because other than the smell this product is awesome. I feel like the Grinch that gave the 2 kiss rating :/
To me this smells very citronella-y, like one of those candles that ward of mosquitos! It does have 'Citral, Citronellol, Limonene' oils in it, and I'm not adverse to fresh, citrusy smells, but to me this was just a bit too much. I felt like the old lady who was trying to kill flies...so I wouldn't use it again but smell is a personal thing, which is why I would recommend it - the balm really is an everything balm -
I've probably not tried anything the other reviewers havent suggested - lips, elbows, knees, hubbie's hand calluses, feet etc. I resisted using it as a baby balm, simple because I've only used Paw Paw on my son's baby bum and I didn't want to risk a reaction. But the consistency and performance of the balm on the grown up Guinea Pigs definately suggest it'd be a great balm for babies.
I even tried a little bit on my hair. I've used Palmer's Coconut Oil Hair Balm so thought why not?! A teeny bit de-frizzed my hair and didn't weigh it down at all.
Overall this is a great product, and I will definately be checking out other Trilogy products - an environmentally aware company, with amazing packaging and products that do what they say they do. A blend that's hard to come by!
Triology everything balm is exactly that. From dry skin to chapped lips, to hand cream this has it all. It is nourishing and softens skin. It smells great and absorbs into skin rapidly leaving no residue.
We are all using this in my home, the girls love it on their cuticles and lips and dad is using it on his cracked (and gross I might add) heels. This pottle is going to be gone in no time.
Thank you BR and Triology for letting me trial this amazing everything balm - we love it and will be continuing to use it....in fact this will replace alot of other products sitting in the bathroom cabinet !!! Will be fanastic to have one product do the job of several.
