This foot scrub came in the Linden Leaves pedi-kit foot care pack I purchased.
The foot scrub in this pedi-kit comes in a plastic tube with a screw off lid. It is 25mls so a descent size to try before buying the full sized product. The scrub has a beautiful scent and smells like lemongrass and cucumber. The texture isn’t too harsh but still feel gritty enough to work as a scrub. This scrub has so many amazing ingredients from pumice grains to shea butter.
I apply this by first massaging my feet in warm water, I then apply about a generous amount to my feet. I tend to use a circular motion when rubbing it in. I like to leave it on for a few minutes so that the oils have time to soak into my feet.
This scrub does an excellent job of removing dry, rough and flaky skin on my feet without breaking down the healthy skin. They feel refreshed and nourished after use. I then use the massage cream to help restore and protect them further.
The kit also contains a pumice stone, a foot soak, a foot reviver, and a massage cream. When all used together your feet feel heavenly.
I highly recommend this scrub it is especially great for winter use when you are more likely to suffer from dry skin.
Tips: This scrub works well with a foot spa or in the shower and is a great way to relax.
I admit to having a foot spa that hardly gets used but with this foot scrub I plan to change that. I had forgotten about this wee gem stashed away in the foot spa box that I got one Mothers Day and after a very rough few weeks decided that I would treat myself and a friend to a home spa experience. I did our nails and then as I was setting up the foot bath... I remembered how much I enjoyed using this when I received it... I must have as it was two thirds empty.
The pack I have has a foot soak as well so in that went, then the scrub went on and it felt heavenly... the scent is cucumber and maybe lavender it was like a gritty body butter, not harsh but you can feel it working as you massage it around. I like doing my own feet as it has the benefit of foot scrub and hand scrub at the same time.
My skin felt so soft and moisturized after (and that is without the moisturiser in my pack being used). This has been put back into foot care routine especially heading into summer and strappy shoe season and will buy again when it runs out... which will probably be in the next couple of weeks.
Tried this product awhile ago and apart from rejuvenating my feet the smell rejuvenated my senses. Found this such a relaxing experience and the product was great.
Tips: Take your time and enjoy pampering and caring for yourelf.
I have used up the travel sized portion of this I had and will be trying to find a full size on special once I get my scrub stockpile down a bit. It's totally lovely.
The Linden Leaves foot scrub comes in a white and moss green package, simply and elegantly labelled. The product itself is a soft grey green, with darker 'bits' (the apricot seeds) in a lighter grit (the pumice).
It's softly gritty - it doesn't feel like it's tearing my feet up, just gently polishing them to remove rough parts, dead skin etc.
The oils and softeners in the formula work from the moment you begin until well after you wash away the residue, and with the addition of a foot cream afterwards leave feet lovely, softer, smoother and feeling pampered. I really like that this doesn't have the pungent mint smell of so many foot products. The scent is more herbal and infinitely more relaxing.
I haven't used a lot of Linden Leaves products but this is gorgeous, and I'll happily use it again.
Tips: Make sure your feet are warm first - a good soak or shower are great to soften skin before you scrub.
