Maybelline Volum' Express the Colossal Review

I used mine until it dried up completely!!! It lengthens and gives volume. No clumps even when applying more than one layer and the brush is just the right size.

Im an avid EOH mascara fan, but when I recently had my make up done professionally this is what the make up artist used and swore by. Im very much easily enabled, and always like to have a couple of mascaras on hand so I went about to find it. (Found at the warehouse on sale for around $17)

The packaging wouldn't be something I would normally go for being bright yellow but I must admit it makes it easy to find in my make up draw.

Its easy to hold and the brush is just perfect for my lashes - nice and bushy.

OK so when I used it for the first time it was runny and so much product on the brush it was horrible!! I was guttered. So in my draw it sat for a few weeks until I thought Id give it another try. What would you know, the consistency had improved dramatically and my lashes look amazing, to the point that they make them look fuller, longer and more pigmented than my EOH one which has now taken a back seat for the time being.

I find it doesn't flake and is long lasting, a great combo with my lash serum! AMAZE.

I love trying new mascaras but this one Id happily purchase again.

This mascara is one of the best mascaras that I've used. I really like the bright yellow and purple packaging, and the brush is such a nice shape. I find that this mascara doesn't clump or flake at all, and is reasonably easy to apply, although I found that the brush is a lot bigger than others I have used before. It is also a breeze to remove as well as apply. I would highly recommend this mascara!

Decent mascara! It doesn't smudge and gives my lashes more volume and length while still looking natural. I find it's good for everyday wear! I don't like the wand much, it's a little big for my taste and I find it can clump when using a lot. To stop it from clumping I usually wipe it clean before every use.

It's not the best mascara I've ever used, but it's pretty good for the price! If I need a new mascara, I usually find myself buying this product. As it's reliable, sold basically everywhere and I usually see it on sale, or quite cheap.

I bought this a while ago and have just recently used it, lengthens my lashes without clumps, does not make my eyes sting or water and is easy to apply. Reasonable price, quite often on sale at supermarkets.

This looks simple and luscious for daytime wear. It is not heavy nor gluggy to apply. A fresh look that's for sure.

I got this mascara at a make up sale for $12 so I was pretty happy with the price. I was worried about the wand because normally I like silicon wands (I find they separate my lashes better and help stop clumping) but was happily surprised that although not as good as a silicon wand at separating my eyelashes the mascara didn't clump in the wand's bristles. It did take an extra bit of work with the wand and my nail to separate my lashes.

The colour is a dark black (doesn't dry grey - yay!). The formula glides on nicely without clumping or feeling glue-y on your lashes. In terms of wear the mascara was still as dark and in-place at the end of the day, I did find however that my lashes weren't as flared upwards as when I applied the mascara, so the look was a little less "bam" than when first put on.

Overall a solid contender for day wear. Would need to do a few layers to make stand out enough for a big night look, or possibly curl your lashes.

I really like this mascara. It is one i regularly purchase as it is affordable and does the job well. It has a larger brush tip which can make applying the formula to the bottom lashes a bit messy. But it does create thick black lashes. But don't apply too many coats as it will clump the lashes easily.

I purchased this because of all the good reviews on here. It was on special for $21 at the warehouse which I think is quite expensive but I really wanted to try it out. Its ok, not bad, not amazing, its really good at coating lashes without clumping lashes, so my lashes look clean and separated. Not that great at lengthening lashes, hence 4 stars. I'm looking for a mascara that gives more length. But this mascara did make my eyes look more awake,clean and tidy if that makes sense. This mascara would be amazing if I naturally had long lashes.

I liked this product initially because it gave me lashes lots of definition and length but I used it with another mascara to plump up the volume. I did love how easy it was to apply and the wide wand made getting every lash simple. I found this product to be good for everyday but did tend to run a bit!
