MAC Eye Kohl Review

Over the years I have tried many eye pencils, but I always come back to the Mac Khol pencil. I have very dark eyes and and can pull off a very smoky look and this pencil is just the best for this. I use it on the waterline and my eyelid. You can make the line thick or thin very easily and it is soft enough that you don't need to keep going over your line, which is perfect for unsteady hands like mine!

I LOVE this kohl pencil by Mac! This is by far the best I have tried hands down. It defines my eye so well, easy to apply and easy to remove. I defiantly recommend this for a smooth application every time. Very easy to smudge and it blends really well. Its an absolute must have for the perfect smokey eye!

I've tried lots of kohl pencils over the years and this one come out tops by far. I always use it on the waterline and am completely happy with how it looks, how it lasts so well and in fact I can't find anything that isn't good about it! I'm currently using Ebony which isn't quite so black and looks good with a lighter application of eye makeup.It is easy to clean off at the end of the day. Like many good products, it does cost a little more but the quality is great as with all Mac make up!

Mac has the best eye kohls I have tried. They are long lasting, easy to put on and they easy to blend with. I have the kohls in a few colour and they all have a every good pigment pay off and smouldering (black) is very deep and dark so a little goes a long way.

I have this pencil in smouldering which is a dark black. Is is really smudge so perfect for blending out or laying down as a base for a smokey look. The packaging is just your standard black chic mac packaging and it is expensive, more than the $20 quoted by br above. It is an awesome product but at the end of the day a lot of cheaper brands make a good black kohl pencil too.

This little beauty is a must have in. I am always trying out a new eyeliner but can't function without my MAC Eye Kohl in Smoulder.

I like a eyeliner pencil to be easy to apply, it doesn't drag on the skin or smudge everywhere. I find that "Smoulder" is the best black eyeliner I have used, it's perfect.

The best part about this Eyeliner is it stays put all day, and at the end of the day when my face get's washed off, the eyeliner comes off with a breeze. Nothing like having to wash your eyes over and over to remove stubborn black eyeliner.

MAC Eye Kohl definitely does what it says, it is soft and glides on effortlessly. The thing I like the best about this pencil is how easy it is to create sexy smokey eyes. Because of the smudgeability and the depth of colour, I wear it without using eye shadow, I just blend the colour along my lids and it looks great. I have a few different colours so normally end up blending a dark blue with black (or dark brown).It's easy to use on upper and lower lids and with the striking colours available you can achieve some awesome looks without eyeshadow.

Very soft pencil liner! Wouldn't want to use too much as it is so soft it goes all smudgy. Its definitely the best black eyeliner I've ever found.

I love these pencils! My favourite is Costa Riche it is a beautiful warm brown colour. I love this shade with a warm smokey eye. They are very creamy and pigmented

Such a great product. So easy to use, glides on super soft with great colour pay-off. Can be built up, or blended out with a brush to create the perfect smokey eye, and when you layer an eyeshadow over the top of these, the pigments really shine. 'Smoulder' (black) in particular is perfect for lining in the inner rim of the eye to give definition. I find it easy enough to remove with an eye makeup remover. Such a huge selection of colours to choose from - you can't just own one of these!
