I own this in so many shades - best eyeliner for smoky eyes ever! My particular favourite is the black shade - smolder. The kohl is very, very soft - blends well and goes on smooth.

Tips: Do not use for defined, perfect lines - it will smudge, as it's meant to!
A MAC eye pencil is on my daily make up list, and with good reason. Firstly, they are fool proof; they go on smooth and can be smudged slightly to help get the perfect line. Great when you have a toddler tugging on your arm, trying to see what you are doing. Secondly, the colors are amazing and vibrant. And lastly, they last forever. I wore these in the middle of Tokyo's muggy summers and, even though the rest of my make up washed off as if I were dunked in water, my eyeliner stayed put.
Tips: Got blue eyes? Go with a coppery brown to make your eyes pop.
A great pencil especially if you want some smudgability but long-wearing-ness (sorry they aren't proper words) in one package. This pencil will enable you to rim the outer and inner eye, smudge it as desired and then sets up nicely not to smudge later on in the day. Teddy is a great natural looking brown and Kitten is a great smokey eye look. My all time fave is Tarnish - a smokey black green with a hint of forest green sparkle (but not glittery) makes a divine black-green smokey eye and looks great against my hazel eyes. Overall good for the price and definitely better than other high end pencil liners (looking at you Lancome and Estee Lauder) which tend to be pretty lacklustre for their price.
Tips: Good for smudgy looks and neat lines - all in one pencil.
Love these eye pencils. I currently have the white one that i use to line my waterline. They are creamy and glide on really smoothly and also have great pigmentation. My only negative about these is the price tag. I also find when i sharpen it the product tends to break off and I end up losing quite a lot of product :(
Tips: Take care when sharpening.
Really great pencil that applies smoothly and easily and has a lot of colour. I find MAC stuff a bit pricey, but it's a justified price tag. I use the brown for a subtle smoky eye and the white to brighten up the corners of my eyes. Another cool thing about this pencil is that it doesn't flake irritatingly into my eye like some other pencils at the end of the day, which is even worse because I wear contact lenses and have kinda dry eyes. Great pencil if you're willing to invest in some premium brand stuff.
I always have one of these in my handbag. I use it not only as eyeliner, but also for a quick smokey eye - (just draw a thick line on the upper lid and smudge with a soft brush or finger). The quality is fantastic and the colour stays for a very long time. Although slightly pricey, I feel that MAC has done a really good job with these eye kohls.
I love this product, it goes on smoothly and it lasts really well. Its a really lovely deep black colour.
It doesnt smudge throughtout the day like some eyeliners do, looks great doing a smokey eye, especially if smudged in crease and outer eye and then eyeshadow applied
A little on the expensive side but definitely worth the money.
Tips: Make sure you have a really good sharpener as you don't want to waste any of this pencil on a sharpener that eats pencils
So, I'm always a little like eeeek when it comes to the price of some cosmetics, esp MAC. But this eye liner is amazing. It is super creamy, it glides on so easily and stays put, especially on the upper and lower water lines. Although the price, it is a good investment, and is a must in any makeup kit
I'm in love with this liner, it applies fantastically and blends well if you want to blend and build it for dramatic looks. It doesn't melt off or smudge your eye into an unrecognizable black mess, however it needs to be set with a powder especially on the bottom lid.
Tips: Use a small soft brush (I personally use an angled eyebrow brush from MAC) and gently dab a powder, like black eyeshadow, to set it and it'll to stay longer.
This is a great eye pencil in the fact that it is blackest of blacks, and glides on really easily. I wear my eyeliner on the inner rim of my eyelid and do find that it ends up under my eyes by the end of the day.
Tips: Use a good quality sharpener when sharpening MAC pencils or you may end up with jaggered edges. =/.
