I'm impressed, and it's a firm favourite

For my age, and skin type, any products which scream Hyaluronic acid, I'm on board with and have it in my shopping cart! My 40+ skin loves and needs hydration, and while my wrinkles are minimal, there are some deep creases in places that other products haven't quite managed to plump out - so I was excited to be on this trial and see if this magic potion has a little bit of something extra to plump up my skin.

First impressions is that it's a lovely purple glass bottle - similar packaging to the other Revitalift products. It also has a long glass dropper for dispensing the serum. I believe with Hyaluronic serums they're best kept out of light - so store this in a cupboard when not using! The serum itself is lovely, and a lightweight gel that I found absorbed into my skin easily and quickly. You only need a couple of small smears of the product, for coverage of face and neck. After application, I spritz my face with a face mist, then use a rosehip oil, followed by my SPF moisturiser. All applied and absorbed over the serum really well. I tend to leave my skin for 5 minutes before. Applying makeup - I had no issues with pilling, and my makeup felt fresh and my skin felt healthy and hydrated through the day.

I only used this for 2 weeks, so it's hard to tell the level of wrinkle plumping gained in such a short time, but I have a dominant forehead crease that seemed less deep as time went on. I particularly noticed this, because my foundation normally sits in that crease, and it appeared to be less noticeable than usual.

The serum itself I use morning and night - and it's been in my routine for nearly two weeks, and I definitely feel the effectiveness and level of hydration and glow seems to be greater than some of the cheaper hyaluronic acid products I've used. My skin didn't break out with this product and it definitely delivered on hydration and extra plumping of the skin. It feels healthy when I take make up off at the end of the day, and use this as part of my night time routine.

I'm not sure of the price point, but it will likely be on par with the other products in the range, and there's always a good L'Oreal promo at Farmers - so I think this one is a keeper. It will also last a fair amount of time, and only 2 drops are needed day and night, and I can see this lasting quite a while yet.

There's lots of hyaluronic products on the market, but I think this serum definitely delivers on its promises and packs a punch at what is likely a good price.

With longer use I think my skin will continue to look hydrated and hopefully some of the deeper wrinkles will plump a little more. All in all I was impressed.

Tips: Use on damp skin - if you use on dry skin, hyaluronic acid can have the opposite affect as it will draw moisture from where ever it can find it. I apply to damp skin, and then afterwards spritz my face with a face mist to add moisture to the mix and really get hydration going. (I continue to spritz my skin during the day - particularly when in an office environment)

UPDATE: Just over month of using this serum and I still really love this product. I'm a bit over halfway through the bottle, and my skin remains plump, and hydrated. I haven't had my usual 'waves' of dry looking skin that comes and goes with the seasonal weather. My makeup looks fresh and more natural. I don't feel like I need to remove makeup and moisturise when I get home after the work day. Fine lines are definitely softened and makeup is less inclined to sit in lines. I really love the product - I've used cheaper brands of hyaluronic acid and they work well, but this one has an extra punch that really works for my skin/age.... Definitely recommend this serum for the 40+ age group where you're looking for plumper, more hydrated looking skin.

Magic potion

I am in my 40s and starting to show quite a few fine lines, and some wrinkles, especially after sleeping. I applied the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum after cleansing in the morning and evening. A small quantity goes a long way, and it goes into the skin quite quickly. Packaging is lovely, and the light smell not intrusive. I applied my normal moisturizer on top, and was on my way. After nearly two weeks, I noticed a definite reduction on some fine lines on my forehead, and one particular morning wrinkle that is very prominent after sleeping. I will continue using the product for another month, maybe reducing the frequency to once a day, to see further results. Update after using the serum for a further 3 weeks: My skin is looking very smooth and I can definitely recognize a further reduction of fine lines, especially on my forehead and the side of my face. It seems the product quantity goes a long way. I have reduced application to once a day, but still just under half of the bottle left.

Tips: I read somewhere to apply the Serum onto wet skin, because it otherwise dehydrates the skin.

Great product, lovely soft skin!

Hyaluronic acid is very trendy in skincare now, so I was super keen to try this out and see if it really plump and hydrate this 40 something skin.

The product comes in a liquid dropper bottle, and was easy to dispense onto the back of the hand. It took a couple of uses to get the amount right but this wasn't a problem.

I dotted the clear liquid onto my cheeks and forehead first and blended it with my fingertips. It wasn't greasy and absorbed easily. I then put the remainder around my nose and chin areas. There was no sticky residue on my skin.

I used this product twice a day after cleansing as instructed, and then applied my regular moisturizer. I had no adverse reactions or itching and my skin is moderately sensitive.

I didnt notice the positive effects until I'd been applying it for about 5-6 days, but my skin definitely felt softer and more hydrated, especially on the cheeks. This has continued with subsequent applications of the product. It really has made a difference to the visual appearance of my skin.

I've also noticed that with my skin softer and more hydrated, my makeup goes on more easily and less blending is required. This was something I wasn't expecting but it makes sense that if the skin was plumper and more hydrated, then other products would go over it more easily.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone concerned with hydration or skin plumpness. It is easy to use and did for me what it promised.

*A few weeks on and my skin continues for feel softer and plumper. A great addition to my everyday skincare routine that I will continue to use.

Tips: Less is more, start with a small amount and apply to cheeks first then pat into chin, forehead and nose.

A pleasant surprise

Let me begin by saying that I’m 48, with fair skin and red hair. Someone with my skin tone doesn’t get to this age without having accumulated their fair share of sun damage. I’ve tried lots of products over the years, in varying price ranges, with varying success. It’s been a while since I last used L’Oreal skincare but when this product was announced, I had heard enough about Hyaluronic Acid to know that it’d be a good idea to incorporate it into my routine. I can honestly say that this product does what it says on the tin (box). In the two weeks that I’ve been using it (5 drops, morning and night, before my regular moisturiser), I’ve noticed a difference. The crepey skin under my eyes looks plumper, the existing wrinkles (deep) in my forehead and in the deeper ones around my eyes also look better. I’m certain this is working. The bonuses for this product are many: the price is affordable, the serum is easy to disperse and non-sticky, a little goes a long way and it sinks in easily and fast. In the two weeks of using it both morning and night, I’ve only used a third of the bottle, so I think the bottle will probably last a good 6 weeks in total, which is great value for money, considering the obvious results within 2 weeks. The dropper makes measuring dosage super easy and the glass bottle is quite an attractive one, if that matters to anyone (not to me, I’m more interested in what the product itself does, but each to his/her own). I’m really looking forward to seeing how my skin has improved once the bottle is finished in 4 weeks or so. This product will definitely become a regular step in my routine from now on.

It’s rare that I’ve found a product which professes to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and actually does it. This is such a product. I’ve been so impressed that I’ve actually incorporated a L’Oreal day cream and night cream into my daily routine. If they work half as good as this serum does, I’m sold for life.

UPDATE: It's been another few weeks since I wrote my initial review and I'm down to about a quarter of the bottle left. This stuff seems to last forever! It's still making improvements on my skin, it definitely hasn't peaked yet. The dehydrated skin under my eyes appears plumper and more hydrated, with my concealer no longer pooling in the deeper wrinkles (which is a pretty good indication that this is doing Good Things). My forehead wrinkles have diminished a tiny bit (but they are pretty deep) and the fine lines around my lips still seem to be the same so I'm just guessing that the skin around my eyes is an easier target for this re-plumping effect. Regardless, I'm continuing to use it and will purchase a second bottle and re-evaluate when I reach the end of that one (should be about 12-14 weeks of using this product by then). The first 7-14 days seem to have seen the most improvement, which is interesting. Still a great product though!

Tips: I’ve been dropping 5 drops into my dry hands, rubbing my palms together quickly and then applying to my entire face and neck once my face is dry (as per the instructions on the box). It sinks in within seconds and you can readily apply your moisturiser.

My new night serum!!! A+!

This really helps with that under-neck area and the area around the eyes. My brow seems less "heavy" as well.

This does what it says on the bottle. Lifts and firms.

I don't need to write a long review this time. Buy this and use it at night for two weeks. You may like to alternate this serum with a retinol serum depending on your skin. For now, this is all that I've used for the past three weeks and I'm very happy with the results.

Tips: As is usual with new skincare products, I had to use a fair amount of product for the first 4 - 5 days and then I was able to go down to 1 dropper's worth of serum per night.

L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler 1.5% Hyaluronic Ac

I have only trialled this product for a short time as the courier didn't deliver it until 5 days ago. However, my thoughts are, I like this serum! As always, L'Oreal packaging has a luxurious feel given the price point. I really like the serum itself, I love the glass bottle and eyedropper. The serum has a nice consistency and a faint, pleasant scent. As with all serums, your face feels slightly tacky once you have patted it on. Did the serum deliver the goods as far as anti-aging, anti-wrinkle benefits? Definitely not in 5 days, and probably never, because let's get real here, the very best of products can't perform miracles! What this serum did do though, as promised is, hydrate my skin which was feeling and looking parched and give it a nice smooth, even appearance. That's a good result in my book. I'm happy!

Tips: On the first day of use, I applied BB Cream (I use it as a moisturiser) directly to my freshly serum-ed face which was a bad idea. The BB Cream separated and was really hard to blend. From there on in, I used a moisturiser after the serum and before the BB Cream and had a nice smooth blended result! Therefore, moisturise, people! 21 MARCH 2020 UPDATED REVIEW - I love this stuff, it is now officially my favourite serum of all time, far surpassing anything else I have ever used. My 55-year-old skin is so much smoother and more even-toned, because of this my fine lines seem less prominent. I seem to be far less prone to hormonal breakouts and the existing bumps under my skin have reduced in size and appearance. I can't recommend this serum enough!

Magic in a bottle

Honestly i love the vault, i get to try lovely new things i wouldn't usually buy. This is one such thing.

The bottle feels luxurious in my hand and i imagine if i put it in a sock i could do some damage, it's pretty heavy.

The serum itself is glooorious. First application and i thought i was wearing someone elses face! Sadly that notion has stopped but its still lovely.

Im not sure its pumped out my lil baby wrinkles all the way but i do think its made a difference somewhere. Its a wonderful little serum and ill be repurchasing, and i very rarely actually follow through!

L’Oréal hyaluronic acid

Lovely product, goes on really easily, skin looks and feels so much more moisturised and plumper, prefer to use at night after cleansing and before night moisturiser.

Tips: I mix my vitamin c powder in with it, helps deliver my vitamin c daily

Filler 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum

I had been wanting to try this for a while, and finally got some. I was not diasappointed. A clear liquid dispensed via a dropper, tbis serum packs a great punch. It leavea my skin feeling a bit sticky, but once I add my sunscreen (am) or nightcream (pm), that feeling goes. At night, I usually add the serum to my moisturiser in my hand, rub together and then apply to face, neck and decolletage. Then I leave for at least half an hour before retiring. It leaves my skin plump and glowy. Seems to add a slight blur effect to my pores also. The bottle has lasted me a good five months so far, and there is at least another months worth left.

Bring it on 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid

The super-concentrated formula is a gel that absorbs fast, leaving nothing behind except for bouncier skin. It’s designed to hydrate while filling out fine lines and wrinkles. I just loved it very much. The feeling on my skin is just wonderful afterwards.

Tips: My advice will be always best applied straight after cleansing onto damp skin.
